Ash Ketchum the most dense guy anyone would know was introduced to the concept of a "kiss" by none other than his best friend - a fiery redhead named Misty Waterflower

At first Ash refused to acknowledge it as "kiss " due to the awkwardness of the situation.
He called it "Touch of lips" because it was weird even self  acknowledging that he "kissed" his best friend
Even though he knew the term to be applied would always be "kiss" and not anything else .

He remembers how it started .
He was pushed onto Misty by a lovestruck Brock chasing both Joy and Jenny across the building.
So , what happened next ?
He careened into the redhead and accidentally his lips touched her cheek .
Her skin seemed so soft , he never realised as he never touched her other than holding her hands .
Both of them brushed it off for obvious reasons .

The next day Ash had a match with Lance -the Kanto champion.Though Ash didn't win the league ,he requested rather begged Lance to battle with him so that the raven haired could know what exactly Lance had and Ash didn't .
"Ash Ketchum -the wannabe master defeats the current champ Lance "
This shocked everybody including Ash and company .
The boy who made it just in top 16 had defeated the League champion wasn't less than a miracle .
Ash wasn't prone to thinking so he didn't dig in the reasons for his win .

The second time Misty's lips touched him was before Hoenn league , again unintentionally .
He made it to top 10 in the league competition .
Somewhere around Ash had begun to understand the luck and auspiciousness of the "accident touch of lips' for him and his dream.

Third time , he wanted to be lucky again .
So he asked Misty to do it again , intentionally this time
The redhead was flushed , she knew he didn't even share any feelings similar to like for her . Then why this kiss ? Why should she deepen her emotions for him wantedly ?
She tried to explain him the bigger picture of the "touch of lips " but all in vain as her blabbering was brought to an halt by Ash moving his cheek right next to her rosebud lips.
If she was flushed earlier , she was feeling mortified then .
Damn that guy , hasn't he got the hints she left during their journeys , isn't he a tiny bit of aware that how she strongly feels for him when the rest of the world can write an essay on it .

Ash did well in the upcoming championship as well.
He was ranked no.6 in Sinnoh league
He was so happy and proud that he figured out something which acts as lucky talisman for him ..

Then came , his time for departure to Unova .
He called Misty alone to his room , of course she knew what was coming ..blame that stupid boy for never understanding what thing  leads to other
No she wasn't referring that there could be a chance of a budding relation but she was hinting at her already sky high crush on him .
But one look from his auburn eyes convinced her to suppress her heart and give him his talisman as he called
Did he realise talisman is a lucky  thing and kiss cannot be a talisman ?
Please do it for me , Mist ?
And there went all her common sense in the drain .

Ash was able to be placed 4th in Unovan competition

To Ash's disappointment -
She wasn't in Kanto when he was about to leave for Alola to give a shot to his dream there .
He left early than he intended to, all because the girl couldn't be present to bid him adieu to his next journey
Who are you kidding selfish Ketchum , you know you don't just want her presence .You also want her "touch of lips" "your talisman" -her kiss to you

Ash was enjoying himself in Alola
All was seemingly well till he entered the quarter finals and then semi finals .
That's when the feeling of loss kicked in , they way his journey was crafted he felt that he was destined to win and he would be ashamed if he didn't win in this time
So he did what his heart asked for.
He invited Misty to Alola .
He knew she would reach him by the time he clears semi final .
And she did

She accepted his invite because she wanted to clear out the fog on their relation / friendship status .
She couldn't do injustice to him and her feelings anymore
I have to tell Ash , this is wrong .He doesn't love me or even like me I shouldn't kiss him
My kisses aren't any charm , it's his ability that he's progressed this far

So she refused to kiss him , when he asked for a lucky charm.

She had to go around the hard way to tell him
Things could get awkward and their friendship too

"Why , why can't you kiss again Mist , why can't we ? "

"Ash , this isn't any game .There is no such lucky talisman and even if there is it can't be my kiss .Specially if it concerns you , I'm just like May or Dawn - a good friend .
I am not  someone yo...you feel affectionate for ...like Gary is for Leaf .I am just a ..a not attraction not definitely you..your  love   " She gulped and closed her eyes , she had finally admitted her secret .

"It's not what you understand Mist, it's about my lu
..... "

"No Ash , listen there's nothing as you consider a lucky charm , it's all in you , around you and around us , somewhere some most right thing that comes out when you battle .
It's about you and your loving , kind  soul .
Just go and focus on your pokemon , tomorrow is the big day " she said and sent him back to his room to retire for that night

Ash couldn't sleep well that night , he was replaying her words .
In you and around you , around us .Somewhere the most right thing ...."
That's when he was  accidentally playing with his Jean pockets and his hand hit something soft and hard too .
It came to be as her handkerchief and her Mini Misty lure that she had given him on their last day of travel together
He thought about it subconsciously , rewind many of their conversations, fights , battles and their bond till date
When the truth hit him he knew "what's in his loving soul and what's something so right " and "in him"
He grinned and finally laughed , the reality of his luck finally chipped in
He had to definitely win it this time , he has no option

"All hail the new Pokemon champion Ash Ketchum " the headlines on the PokeExpress read 
He had finally won the dream , time to win it as well

"Mist , please come to my room " he said over the intercom between their rooms
"Yeah ,Ash ?" She answered entering his room
"You know you said I have it with me always .Talking about yesterday " he corrected
"Yes , so ?"
"I found it , I found my luck .I found what's that thing which is somewhere in me , and is the most right thing EVER "
"What ?" She was puzzled
"This " he said pointing towards his heart " this is the most right thing in the world Misty , this is the thing which was around me , within me and somewhere the most right thing but unknown to me "
Ash took a step forward
Misty took one back

She shook her head
"Because you are in it and it is in me "
"Ash !!!!!"
"Yes , Misty this is the most right thing ever and what I am about to do is is the my best deed ever " "and it's not training pokemon " he completed

And of course he kissed her
"The most right girl lives in the most right thing called heart " he said after finishing the  kiss

She had to smile at his dense confession , but she loved it because it was his style
"Dumb" she whispered  as he kissed him again
Though they started just 15 mins back , how he loved kissing his right thing oops his heart oops Misty

Erghh , just a random concept which came to me a day before , materialised into this .
