Third Person POV

Two young trainers walked along the route to Pallet town. One with Jet black hair, and the Other with Vibrant Scarlet Orange. They seemed to be enjoying their Evening stroll, Until a Certain Spiky haired Brat Exploded out from the Bushes.

Ash's POV

My left eye twitched as Gary ruined the peace and quiet. "Gary YOU IDIOT!!!" I screeched as he ran away.

I stopped mid sentence and tilted my head... I was starting to sound like someone I know

FLASHBACK

"ASH YOU IDIOT!!! YOU GOT US LOST AGAIN!!" Screeched Misty as I stood there looking at the ground ashamed.

END FLASHBACK

I raised a brow, Wait does that mean.................. Didnt Misty say something about us getting married in Johto when Brock had that Unfortunate encounter with  Misu-Whats-her-name?

I looked at the Red head who was also glaring in the direction Gary had run off to. And I felt my face heat up. Before she could notice I looked away. and sweatdropped.

Geez why am I so dense? HOW IN THE WORLD DID ALL THIS NOT REGISTER IN MY BRAIN UNTIL NOW????

I shook my head in self pity. My density would kill me one day.

Misty's POV

I was extremely exasperated.. WHY WAS GARY ALWAYS GETTING BETWEEN ME AND ASH??? I mentally banged my head on a wall.

I whisked a peek at Ash and got caught in his Amber eyes. Ive always liked him.... He was so Fun and Energetic, But all I did back when we traveled together was Bash, and knock him down. 

I bet he still hates me for it too... I looked away from him before my eyes could Glaze over in sorrow.

I hated myself for doing all those things to him, but at the time I had no Idea how to express my feelings. So I just got angry.... Not at him but at myself.

Before a tear could fall, I felt an arm wrap around my shoulders... they were strong, but gentle..and so warm. Before I knew what was happening Ash had embraced me, and was looking into my eyes.

"Mist, whats the matter?" He asked.

I averted eye contact and looked down. "You can tell me anything Mist, You know that. I'll always be here for you." He said. His voice was calm and soothing. He always knew how to make me feel better. 

And yet... All I could do was Yell and scream at him for everything.

Ash's POV

I looked at Misty as Tears started to form in her eyes. It broke my heart to see her like this. To see her look this upset, It tore me up.

I brought her in closer. "Mist. Whatever is troubling you, We will get through it.. You and I." I reassured. I could feel her shoulders tense up. and a few seconds later she burst into tears.

Right on this route... The same route where I first met her. The river flowing silently. and the breeze coming off of the Moors of Pallet mixed with the warm sunlight. 

It was a beautiful day unlike the day I met her...

FLASHBACK NO.2

I jumped into the water Pikachu in tow as flocks of Spearow dive bombed me. The water was a torrent, and It carried me downstream.

I felt something sharp hook onto me, while I was being pulled along with the current. And all of a sudden I was thrown out of the water and onto the bank. I stood up with Pikachu still within my grasp. and laid my eyes on a Red head with a fishing pole.

I looked at my shirt and realized she hooked me with her rod and reel. I Flinched as I heard the Spearow gaining on us. So I ran past the girl, and jumped on her bike. "Sorry Miss, I need to borrow your bike... Ill give it back someday!!" I screamed over my shoulder, as I shot off as fast as I could away from the Spearow.

FLASHBACK NO.2 END

I looked down at Misty who was just bawling her eyes out. and Held her closer to me. "Mist... I want you to know something." I began softly.

I sniffled before looking up at me with her Beautiful Cerulean eyes.

We were on the ground by this time, and the Sun was setting Bathing the Landscape in Colours of Red Orange and Purple.

I smiled warmly before bringing her just a little closer. "I've loved you for as long as I can remember... And no matter what happens, Nothing will Change my mind." I said before Planting my lips onto hers.

I could feel her shoulders Loosen.

Misty's POV

I looked up at Ash, trying to hold my tears in as he spoke to me. "Mist I want you to know something." He began. I looked at him, Still trying to regain control of my emotions. I felt ashamed for breaking down in front of him. and It wasnt helping much.

"I've loved you for as long as I can remember, and no matter what happens nothing will change my mind." Was what he said, Before planting his lips onto mine. My eyes widened in shock for a few moments, but eventually I gave in, and I melted into the soft touch of his lips.

I was so relieved He didnt hate me for all those things I did to him in the past. I loved him so much. And I didnt want to hurt him the way I did.

After he drew away I steeled my nerves and looked up at him. "S-so You dont h-hate me for when we traveled t-together?" I asked afraid of the answer.

He looked at me for a few seconds before laughing.

Ash's POV

I looked at Misty as she asked if I hated her for when we were younger. And I laughed.

After I settled down, and Gave her a warm smile "Misty, I never hated you.. In fact I should thank you for getting mad at me and pointing out all of my mistakes when we traveled together. It helped me to Fix those mistakes and Grow not just as a person, But as a trainer as well." I replied.

I felt the wind get knocked out of my lungs, and before I knew it I was on the floor again. I looked down and I realized it was Misty who tackled me to the floor. She was crying just a bit... But I think those were tears of joy.

"Ash I've loved you ever since we met. And I still do..." She said blushing.

She then leaned forward and Kissed me. And at that Exact same moment I heard a Camera and a Giggle coming from the bushes.

Both Misty and I were up in an instant. And we both smiled evilly as we cracked our knuckles. Gary popped his head out of the bushes and looked at us. 

"I hope you are ready for an early death Gary" I growled.

"Im going to make you pay for ruining every single moment I got with Ash" Misty said.

His eyes dilated and he screamed bloody murder as We flew at him at the same time.
