Ash

Ever since I reunited with my father, things have been training hard for upcoming battle for Giovanni and Team Rocket.

Isabella also trains of trying to complete her first Island Trial Challenge with her Pokémon. 

I still hardly believe that she is really my sister, and it makes it harder now if I tell her that the enemy that tried to kill her five years ago is actually related to us.

Serena looks at me, "Hey, is everything all right , Ash?" 

I turn to the Kalos Queen , "Yeah, nothing is wrong, really!  I just thinking how much my life had completely changed since..." 

We remain silent, knowing what I was going to say, mostly because remembering the day that Emily and Pikachu got tricked into a trap and she pretended to be someone else until the Kalos League came along.

"Well, none of it matters now. We can start over and if there is an League in Aloha, I would cheer you on all the way to the finals!" She said, which causes me to blush.

Pikachu chuckles of how embarrassed I was, then he jumps out of my shoulder! 

Bonnie asks, "Where's Pikachu going in such a hurry?"

Clement said, "Let's find out why!" 

We run as fast we can as Emily exclaimed, "It's a battle , and there is a Piplup and a Lucario!"

I looked closer with my Aura and that is when my memories came flashing back. Way before I met Brock and Misty, I travelled with my two companions,  Makua and Souji.

They helped me track Ho-Ho, the Legendary Rainbow Pokémon, and we went on our separate ways.

Souji wanted to become a Pokémon Researcher and Makua wanted to go back to Twinleaf Town, to see her mother.

I couldn't bear my excitement any longer as I yell, "Souji! Makua!" 

Both Trainers stopped of their battle and was stunned to see Pikachu and me.

"Ash! Wow, you look..." Makua exclaimed, completely shocked. 

I said, "It's been five years since we last saw each other. Souji, did you manage seeing the other Legendary Pokémon?"

He nods, "Yeah, I've collected Pokémon Data I needed."

Makua said, "Mom and I been starting to talk again and I caught up with Souji and we decided to go to Aloha for vacation, although, we didn't suspect you and Pikachu here."

I said, "Well,  you know me pretty well. Going to try for new challenges and I met new friends I want you to meet."

Souji 

We went back to the house that Ash is staying at in Aloha Region, and it hard to believe that he has a sister named Emily.

She looks so different than Ash, but Ash seems distant from her. 

"Ever since Emily disappeared, Ash wasn't himself." I hear a voice said, as a girl with two Pokémon was hanging out of her pouch.

I ask, "What you mean by that? I thought that Ash knew that he has a sibling." 

"He found out about Isabella five years ago, and when it took a deep toll on him, like a part of himself was missing inside him. 

It was not easy for him when the Kalos League came along, and that was when we found out that Emily was Isabella Satoshi."

As I listened of how the Ketchum Siblings reunite, I kind felt bad of asking. I guess that Ash does have changed since Makua and I last seen him.

"So, you knew Ash and Pikachu too? How come that he never mentioned you guys?" The girl asks.

"Well, I guess that Ash had a lot on his mind lately. I'm Souji. My dream is to become a Pokémon Researcher, and this is my partner, Lucario." 

"I'm Bonnie, and these are my partners, Squishy and Dedenne. We know Ash in Kalos, but Serena, the Kalos Queen, she and Ash go way back . They knew each other when they were kids." 

"They would make a good couple, don't you think?" I smirk, as Bonnie grins, "They already been a couple for five years! " 

As I look at Ash, I wished that I could comfort him, mostly because I knew him better than all the travelling companions he had made since the beginning of his Pokémon Journey.

I said, "Didn't Ash tell you that we actually saw the Rainbow Legendary Ho-Ho, and he challenged it to a battle?"

Bonnie's eyes widen as if I was joking.

"You can't be serious. Ash, the ASH we know, actually challenged Ho-Ho?!? Incredible!"

Ash seems to be listening into our conversation, and said, "Yeah, that was a long time ago. Although Cross did something so reckless that got me killed."

I groaned, "Don't remind me of that memory, Ash. Still, from what I've heard, Cross actually became a  Trail Leader of his hometown here in Aloha Region."

Ash said, "You're kidding?!? Now, I'm pumped to show my Greninja and what true power can do!"

"You're actually going to use Ash-Greninja? Ash, that's kind of reckless." Emily said.

"Com'on Sis! You seen how Ash-Greninja is. I'll be fine." He said, trying to calm his sister down.

Emily pouts, as if she knew that trying to talk Ash out of it isn't going to stop him. 

Brock said, "Dinner's ready, Souji, Makua, you and your Pokémon are welcome to join us. Any friend of Ash, is a friend of ours." 

Ash looks around, "Speaking of friends, where did Serena go?"

Serena

I had to leave Professor Kukui's house for a while, because my poke gear hang up.  

As I pull up the Poke gear, an image appears, it was Paul!

As it turns out... he and his older brother, Reggie are my siblings.

"Paul, what's up, I know you're in Aloha Region. Is there something wrong?"

"Yeah, I know you're with Ash right now, but you have to be on your guard." Paul explains as if he was worried about something so horrifying.

"Paul, you knew Ash. He would bound to trouble, just like his sister would be." Mentioning Emily, he begins to blush, but then he decide to change the subject.

"Ok, but there is another threat you should know about. It's a new Pokémon called the Ultra Beasts. 

If anything involves with an evil heart, all of Aloha would be in critical danger." 

I sighed, "So much of trying to have an relaxing Pokémon Journey without knowing any new dangers lurking in ever corner.

Let me guess. You're nearby and you want to see Emily, don't you? You have a crush on her?" I smirk, teasing my brother with a giggle.

He rubbed his head in total embarrassment of my guess.  

No! I don't! Since you're staying near the Pokémon Center, can we have a Pokémon Battle? I want to see if the Kalos Queen can beat her little brother." 

I smirk, "You're actually asking to challenge me, Paul? You're going to regret it." 

He begins to smile a bit, which I haven't seen him smile since his loss to Ash in the Sinnoh League.

"See ya, Sis." He said as he cuts off the call.

I got so excited as I pulled out my Poke balls out to call out Braxien, Pancham , and Sylveon.

The Pokémon came out as I said, "I need your help of battling my brother. Can you trust me?"

Braxien pulls out her stick as Pancham and Sylveon touches it like we did as a promise.

"Let's work right away!" I said.

As the next day approaches,  Paul was waiting for me.

"Aloha, Serena!" He greets me, as I ruffles his hair.

 I said, "How about we have that battle you wanted? I'm ready to give it my all." 

"Great!" Paul exclaimed as follows me to the Pokémon center battlefield.

"All right, ladies first." Paul said.

"Ok, Sylveon, I choose you!" I exclaimed , throwing her Poke ball out to battle.

Emily

As I look outside, I couldn't believe my eyes. Serena's having a Pokémon battle!

I run as Pikachu and Lucario follows me in a fast pace.

Lucario asks, speaking through his Aura, "Master, what is the big rush?"

I replied to the Aura Pokémon, "It's Serena! She looks like she's having a battle! How can I miss a battle before trying out for a Pokémon Grand Trail?"

As we managed to get into the battlefield, it seems like she called out her Fairy Type Pokémon.

Ash spots me, "Sis, what is going on?" I pointed at the battlefield to answer his question. His eyes were bound to pure surprise as if he knew Serena's opponent is.

"Is that Paul? Why is Serena battling him?" Ash asks, surprised at their battle.

"Azumarill, I chose you!" Paul cried, pulling out his Pokémon to battle.

"An Azumarill huh? You been training hard, I see." Serena smirks at him.

"Come at me." He grins. His Aura is like he having a rough time during his battling days, and wants to seek redemption.

Bonnie said, "An Azumarill. I never seen a Pokémon like that before." 

She unleashes her Poke gear to gather more information about this mysterious Pokémon.

"Azumarill. A water/Fairy type Pokémon. It is also known as the Aqua Rabbit Pokémon.

The bubble-like pattern on its stomach helps it camouflage itself when it is in the water." 

I said, "Wow, Serena's going to have a hard matchup. Sylveon is also a fairy type. Whoever her opponent is, isn't going to be easy to defeat." 

Ash said, "I don't get it. Why is Paul here in Aloha Region? Shouldn't he be in Sinnoh with Reggie?"

I said, "I'm kind of loss here." 

Brock explained, "Paul is one of your brother's biggest rivals . They both competed in the Sinnoh League and Paul lost.

His older brother, Reggie is a  Pokémon breeder." 

I stare at Paul. It seems hard to believe that this guy actually fought my brother.

Paul said, "How about I start this battle off? 

Azumarill, use Blizzard on Sylveon!" 

"Sylveon, dodge it!" Serena said as the attack was dodged. 

Serena ask, "Since when you trained Azumarill to do that?"

"I discovered as a new move. Pretty neat huh?" Paul smirk.

Ash flex his wrists as if he wanted to battle him instead of his girlfriend.

"Quick use Fairy Wind!" Serena said, as Azumarill was flown to the air.

"Incredible, Serena!" Clement cheers as he saw the attack.

"Not bad." Paul said, complimenting the attack.

Azumarill was still standing, "Can you go on?" 

The Fairy type nod, "Great now, use Rest!" 

"Oh man."  Ash said.

Serena grins, "Sylveon jump into the air and combine Fairy Wind with Moonblast!

We gasp as the Pokémon did as instructed caused Azumarill to collapse in a knockout.

Paul gasp as he saw he didn't suspect a combined attack.

Serena pets her Pokémon, "Great job, now get some rest." 

Paul went up to her, "Well, I guess that battle really takes up the cake. Thanks, Serena. I guess you're lucky to be the Kalos Queen after all." 

She said, "Awe, thanks, Paul. It means a lot coming from you." 

"Paul!" Ash exclaims as we came towards him.

Paul blushes as he saw me, as if he didn't notice me watching their battle. Ash ask, "What you doing here and why you were battling my girlfriend?"

Serena said, "Come on, Ash. It's nothing to worry about here." But Ash wasn't convinced.

"Paul, I ask again, why are you here, battling the Kalos Queen?" 

Serena and Paul exchanged glances at one other. 

"Should I tell them or you?" Paul asks.

As she was about to respond to Paul's question, Pikachu sensed something as she climbs off my shoulder.

"What is it, girl?" I ask the electric type Pokémon in pure curiosity.
