'That's great,' I said. 'but how do we know which part of the soul we are? They had to be reacting to all of us because one of us alone can't represent each part at once.' "That's true and I think I have the answer to your question," Combusken said looking pointedly at Pippy and me.

"Pippy, you represent emotion. You care a lot about others, that's the whole reason you wanted to join the Rescue Team, right" Pippy nodded and Combusken continued. "You are also very emotive and are willing to be a friend and show kindness to anyone, even me." "It's no problem," Pippy responded. "I'm glad that you're on the right side now, and I'm even more glad to be your friend!"

"Thanks, anyhow," Combusken continued. "I represent knowledge." "That makes sense," Pippy interjected. "You know the most about what's going on here. We'd be useless without you!" Combusken smiled. "Thank you, Pippy, but I do not deserve your praise." Combusken turned to me.

"Lastly, you, (Y/N), represent willpower, the strongest of the three. Someone might have the knowledge to or care about someone so much they want to help, but they are nothing without the willpower to complete the task. That's probably why you make such a good leader, (Y/N). You never give up." "I one hundred percent agree!" Pippy said.

'T-thanks guys,' I said nervously. 'I don't really know if I am all that, but I will try my best to be the best leader and friend possible. Anyhow, now that we know which part of the soul we represent, what do we do Combusken?'

"We have to get the Spirits to react to us. That means we have to strongly display our emotions. I'll go first." Combusken stepped closer to the access crystal. "I know this is what we have to do to help save you." "Pippy stepped forward next. "My strongest emotion at the moment determination because I really care about you and want to help you break free!"

I took in a deep breath and stepped forward beside Pippy and Combusken. 'I too want to help you. I have the willpower and I won't stop trying to help until you are free!'

The crystal started to glow again and cracked a little. "Focus on your part of the soul! They're almost free!" Combusken yelled. 'Just a little more,' I thought. 'Come on don't give in, show them your willpower!'

The crystal grew brighter and finally cracked. "Mesprit, Uxie, Azelf you're ok!" Pippy said bouncing excitedly. 'Are you guys alright?' I asked. Combusken shuffled his feet awkwardly not making eye contact with any of the Spirits he helped to capture.

"We're fine thanks for saving us!" Mespirt answered. Uxie looked at Combusken then back at me. "It appears you found out who the real Evil One was." 'Yes,' I answered. 'And now Combusken is on our side. Don't worry about him.' 

"I'm sorry!" Combusken blurted out. " I don't what I was thinking, forgive me please, but I can understand if you don't." Azelf smiled. "We forgive you, you just made a mistake. Everyone does once in their life, no one's perfect." "Thank you," Combusken said. 

"Anyways," Uxie said. "You'll need our help to get inside the distortion and to break the chain." "We can do that!" Mespirt said. "And we can go help Hoopa while you distract Riolu!" Azelf added. 

'Sounds like a plan,' I said. 'Let's go save the world.'

Hello! I updated early in the week because I going to be busy all this week. If I can I'll try to post another chapter, but don't expect anything.
