"A human? That's impossible!" Zeraora said looking at me in confusion. "You're obviously a Charmander. How did you get this idea in your head?"

'I... I...' I looked at my feet, shuffling back and forth. Pippy tapped me on my shoulder and gave me a reassuring nod. Pippy's confidence in me made me feel braver.

'That's right, I'm a human. About a month ago I heard a voice. They told me that I was destined to save this world and without me, this entire world would collapse. On the way here to this world from mine, I lost track of the mysterious Pokemon. I woke up on a dirt road where Pippy found me. I had no memories of my past except for my name and the fact that I was once human. I continued to explore this new world as a Pokemon and have many adventures with Pippy, now I'm ready to face my destiny and save this world and all my friends in it.'

I finished giving Zeraora a determined look. Zeraora sighed. "I'm not sure I can believe you, (Y/N), but I do believe that this dark force needs to be stopped at all costs. Azelf's lake is located on a mountain peak not far from Mt. Coronet where the ruins of Time and Space are located. I will travel with you along with Team Meadow and Team Speed. Team Element, you will watch over the Guild while we are away."

"Yes, Zeraora," Vaporeon said nodding her head respectfully. "Good, the journey will be long, so we'll leave tomorrow. Everyone, get a goodnight's sleep because we leave at dawn."

Everyone nodded as we walked back to our sleeping quarters. Once Pippy and I reached our room I flopped down on my soft bed of leaves.

"What a day! We were chosen for a special mission to protect Uxie! We had one job and we messed it up! One Job!" Pippy fumed. "It was my fault we lost, wasn't it. I'm so weak just like Riolu always said I was!"

'That's not true Pippy!' I said reassuringly. 'You tried your best, we both tried our best, Riolu was just too strong for us to handle, plus we weren't prepared. We'll get him next time.'

"Don't lie to me, (Y/N)! It was my fault! It's always my fault! I'm always the first to faint, all my attacks barely do any damage if I don't faint! It's always you that does most of the fighting. You're the real hero, (Y/N). I'm nothing but a weight that drags you down. Maybe I should ask Zeraora if I can stay at the Guild while you go off to defeat Combusken and Riolu. Maybe things will turn out better that way."

'That's not true!' I stood up and walked over to Pippy's bed and hugged him. 'You're the reason I keep on fighting! You're not dragging me down if anything you're holding me up! If you didn't come with me to protect Azelf then I don't know what I would do. I can't do this without you, Pippy."

Pippy turned around and faced me. "(Y..Y?N), you're the best friend I could ever ask for. Thank you," he said returning my hug. 'Never doubt yourself, Pippy. So, Are you coming with me to save Azelf?' "Yeah." 

I smiled and walked back over to my bed. Before I drifted off to sleep I mumbled, 'Goodnight, Pippy.' "Goodnight, (Y/N)."

Ugh! Sorry, I took so long to update guys! I knew what I wanted to write, but I didn't know how to write it! It didn't help that Pokemon Sword was released 11 days ago. I've been playing that thing nonstop, so I've been distracted. Thanks for bearing with my slow updates. I plan to finish this story before 2020, but I might not make that deadline.
