"Long time no see, pipsqueaks," the gray figure said. 'Riolu,' I scowled. "Looks like someone hasn't forgotten me already. Now if you excuse me I have some business to attend to.

Riolu stepped forward towards Uxie. "You're mine." I looked towards Pippy and nodded. Pippy blasted Riolu with a powerful Hydro pump, which pushed him back towards the lake.

I got up real close and used Fire Fang on him. 'I beat you before by myself and I'll do it again! Plus I have Pippy helping me out now.' "And I can't wait to show you who's boss after all the years of you bullying me," Pippy added.

'Let's do a circle attack!' I yelled to Pippy. We charged towards Riolu, running circles around him. Every now and then we launch an attack on Riolu. I used Scratch while Pippy used Peck.

We back off as Riolu fell to his knees panting. He pushed himself back up and fired Aura Spheres at us. Pippy and I dodged the clumsy attacks with ease.

'Shall we finish this,' I said glancing at my best friend. "Is that even a question?" he asked jokingly. 'Flamethrower!' I yelled at the same time Pippy yelled Hydro Pump.

Riolu looked at us with frightened eyes as the attack hit. He was thrown back into the lake. After the water settled there were a few bubbles but then they stopped altogether. We turned back towards Uxie.

"We promised we'd protect you and we did. Team Soul always keeps our promises and that's why we're the coolest, right, (Y/N)?" Pippy said putting his flipper on my back. 'Of course.'

"Thank you for protecting me, Team Soul, but I fear this is not the last attack. If the Evil One figures out his minion has been defeat then he'll surely come for my brother and me himself. We must... wait what's that?"

Turned back towards the lake and looked where Uxie was pointing. The water started to ripple with bubbles as a gray Pokemon pulled themselves out of the water.

"Heh... heh... heh... you thought... you got rid of me, didn't you? Well, let me tell you something. Riolu doesn't die that easily." Riolu lunged at Pippy his eyes had turned completely red and a dark purple-red aura flowed around his body.

"Force Palm!" He yelled as his fist made contact with Pippy's throat. Pippy gagged for air as he was pushed backward. "Force Palm, Force Palm, FORCE PALM!!!" Riolu cackled evilly as he continued to attack Pippy. By now Pippy was wheezing, barely able to breathe.

'Stop it!' I ran to help my friend. Riolu turned around quickly to face me. His eyes glowed a darker red. "Payback time, (Y/N)!" Riolu used Cross Chop. I fell to the ground.

"Now, this was fun losers, but I have some work to attend to." Riolu walked towards Uxie and threw him into a capsule. A yellow hop appeared a swallowed Riolu and Uxie. Before Uxie disappeared he yelled: "Please protect my brother!"

I looked at Pippy. We lost. We lost again and the Evil One is coming closer to completing his goal.

"Hey, Combusken, I got Uxie just like you asked!" Riolu called. "Perfect, just put him over by Mesprit. Hey, are you ok? You look different." "I'm fine. I've never felt better," Riolu said with a smirk.
