Our lost dreams (Prolouge)
My name is Kyo, and I'm an albino sylveon. I'm pretty rare in the wild, but let's not focus on me.
Throughout the pokemon universe, dreams have become less frequent in everyones minds, and no one knows why. Every pokemon is trying to figure this problem out, and one has been successful...
I opened the door to my friend Kesuke's house. Kesuke is a Half-Blind Mudkip who knows lots about this small town of ours. "Ah, Kyo! I didn't think you'd come this early!" Ze said, chuckling as ze held a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Kesuke is the Mudkip that you should go to if you have any problems, but keep in mind that ze has problems of zir own. "Like the new fit?" Kesuke said. I looked up and down at zir fit.
Zir wearing a simple shirt and buttoned it up fully to support the graceful bow tie Zir wearing. On top of the shirt Zir wearing a stylish vest with 4 buttons, it has a very narrow v-line, which allows for a large portion of the top to remain visible, even if the suit's jacket is buttoned up. The jacket perfectly wraps around Zir body. It has a simple, but elegant blanket plaid pattern, giving the suit a dignified and elegant look. The 4 buttons of zir single breasted jacket are all buttoned up, ze wants to look stylish after all. The jacket is the same length all around, it has vents at either side, there are two pockets on either side and there's a breast pocket which contains a pocket watch. Zir wearing pants which copy the style of the jacket, both in color and pattern and they make an ideal combination with zir shoes. Zir wearing a fancy pair of shortwing bluchers. To top it all off Zir wearing a sleek belt, which can be accompanied by cuff links and a brooch.
"I love it! It really matches you!" I said. "But that's not what I'm here for, Kesuke. You see, theres so-" I was cut off by Kesuke covering my mouth. "The dreams, I know Kyo. I found out the reason to these lost dreams." I was surprised. All of the townsfolk thought that Ze couldn't find this out, especially after the disaster last year... Ze led me to zir chalkboard and showed me everything.
"Dhessis and Zoken might have forgotten to give everyone dreams these past nights. Normally, they would show a constellation as an apology, which also meant the birth of a new town member. This years constellation would've been this one right here." Ze pointed at a constellation. It was the shape of an axe, and ze read a description of the constellation. "Made up of four stars, the constellation called Hieraatus roughly resembles the shape of a axe. It can be seen most prominently high in the Western sky in the middle of autumn. In an ancient society, this constellation was seen as the representation of the god of dreams, which is how it received the name still used today. In astrology, this constellation bears the sign of the rivers, those born under it are believed to be very charming. They're suposed to be a good match with those born under the constellations resembling a dragonfly, stork and arrow. But they don't match well with those born under the snake, river and chest constellations."
I found it strange and interesting at the same time. Just as Kesuke was getting deeper into the meaning of the constellation, Poole ran inside, a face of terror on their face. "Hey, Poole! Is something wrong?" I asked. Poole stood there in shock and fear, trying to release the words from his mouth. "H-h-he-e-e's... He-e-er-e..!"
"Who's here, Poole..?" All that we heard was silence. A few seconds later, Poole replied:
"Neztar."
It didn't take us long to run out of Kesuke's house. As we ran out, we grabbed Misty, our Gardevoir friend, from their turtleneck sweater collar and ran out of the village. We should've saved the rest of the village, but we were in such a state of panic that we couldn't think.
This was the start of our journey to find Dheesis. She was the only person that could stop this.
