Prologue. Genesis 2.0
||ThunderFang Village, 31 July, 7,795||
It was a stormy day, the lightning repeatedly fell on the iron poles around the village while a light ringing sounded in the background with each descent that the lightning gave. At that moment, a village house was on the move, in which a group of busy Pokémon were located.
--Temperature?-- Questioned a Raichu while filling a bucket with ice water.
--41 and increased.-- Replied another Raichu, who was taking the temperature of a blue pokémon, that pokémon did not stop panting while his eyes were tightly closed.
--Karen, will my son be okay?-- Asked a large feline, a Luxray which was apparently the mother of the creature that was dying with a high temperature, a Shinx.
--I'm doing what I can, Lucia.-- She commented while she was putting an ice water towel on the little one, she seemed seriously worried, attending to the feline as much as she could with a noticeable panic in her, since it had not been more than five days since the birth of the Shinx and he had already become seriously ill. Despite everything, she try to keep her composure and calm at all times, contrary to the mother of the pokémon.
--Karen, promise me he'll be fine.-- He asked desperately, without getting a response from the rodent, who kept trying to calm the little one's temperature. -- Karen, my son...--
--Lucia, please come out.-- She ordered causing the Luxray some discontent, but not as much as the one she had over because of the pressure of the matter. -- I'll do the best I can, that's the only thing I can promise you.
--My son...-- Her attempt to ask for something more than that promise, which felt hopeless, was interrupted when the Raichu silenced her again, repeating to her to leave the place and let them work.
--Lucia you heard her already, let's get out of the room and let both do what they can, please.-- Asked the other Luxray, the father of the Shinx, who took his wife's paw to try to get out with her, however, the Luxray's response was to oppose with an obvious reaction of hysteria.
--I'm not going to leave our son alone, Nate!-- She exclaimed trying to get closer to her calf again.
--Please, honey, they know what they're doing, we can't do anything but trust.-- Reiterated the Luxray as he slowly made his partner leave the room.
--I'm not going to leave our son!--
The constant screams of hysteria on the part of the mother, plus her attempts to struggle before the grip of her partner, were nothing more than desperate for both her and for the doctor of the village who was with the patience to the limit before the situation.
--Lucia, go now, we'll take care of it!-- Shouted the Raichu only to get a fierce roar and snort from the Luxray who in her desperation was willing to stay as soon as possible with her calf in case something happened.
--Mom?-- Said a tender and small voice, which turned out to be a Pichu that was lurking curious with another similar pokemon, which, pulled her by the paw trying to get it away from the place.
An uncomfortable silence dominated the place, only the lightnings broke such a pact of silence when they descended faster than the sound. The adults had stood still looking at the two little Pokémon that had sneaked into the room.
--Pika, Edison, please go to the living room. Mom is busy.-- The Raichu replied with a calmer tone when she noticed both little ones in the place, she didn't want them to suffer the intensity of the situation.
-- I'll take them outside...-- Lucia offered to approach the door peacefully and with some embarrassment, lowering her head so that the Pichu would climb on her mane, and after that, she decided to leave the place, not without first saying. -- I'm so sorry, Karen... please do what you can...-- She asked while leaving the place as soon as possible with his partner, before regretting what she was doing, closing the door when leaving the room, leaving a small gap through which the Pichu peeked out curious to see the pokémon in bed that was being treated by her mother.
--41.7°- Said the other Raichu the temperature as the situation was already less tense, however, even if the problem of the mother's pressure went away for the time being, now they had to deal with the patient's pressure.
-- Let's try to relieve the temperature, Zera will arrive with what I ordered him in any moment.-- She decided at the same time that he took the towel from the Shinx's forehead, it was just as hot as the feline, whose temperature was higher than before. -- Zera hurry up...-- She muttered moments before squeezing and soaking the rag in ice water to put it back on the infant's forehead.
||Outside ThunderFang Village, in a place near the forests.||
While that tense situation was taking place in the village, outside there was a pokémon running in a hurry while carrying an overwhelming amount of berries in his arms, encouraging himself to continue with his advance in a hurry while he was wrapped in blue electricity, he finally arrived at the entrance to the village, with a slight calm but with a small inconvenience when he felt an intense spark on the back of his neck, which alarmed him at first, turning his gaze back trying to see something.
--I don't know who you are, but come out of hiding!-- Ordered a pokémon with yellow and gray fur with small blue rays as decoration of it, growling before throwing a discharge to the direction he looked, however, said attack was deflected from its direction. --There you are...--
--At the speed we were both going, you could see me, that's very good.-- Answered the voice of the invisible creature with a kind tone, which only angered the pokémon.
--Look, I don't care about the fact that you followed me into the forest, however, I can't let you enter the village.-- Warned the pokémon with a threatening pose while flashing blue electricity through him fur, however, him posture faded upon hearing the statements of the invisible being.
--Your nephew Nikola, a Shinx, has high temperatures and difficulty breathing, the berries you carry are persim, sitrus, leppa and grepa, they plan to give them to him as a remedy, but they will be of no use, Zeraora Fulger.--
--How long have you been watching us?!-- Replied the pokémon with a great anger, they had apparently been observed all this time without him noticing, which in itself already annoyed him. -- You... You'll regret messing with the chieftain of this village!--
He assured to then suddenly hit the ground expanding a blue energy which covered a strange silhouette of a flying pokémon, moments after that, the pokémon's invisibility faded, revealing its appearance as a floating being of abundant red and white colors, golden eyes and with a small triangle on its chest.
--There you are!-- Carrying a powerful thunder punch, Zeraora launched himself against his pursuer, who stood expectant of everything with no intentions of evading.
--Light Mind, Journey Soul.-- He murmured while his eyes twinkled in a rosy hue, such a glow appeared the same on the Zeraora moments before it suddenly collapsed to the ground. --Excuse my intrusion in this way, but I need your full attention.-- Indicated the red pokémon looking at a strange projection emanating from the body of the feline, this being the silhouette of the Zeraora, who was looking at his unconscious body from under his.
--What the hell...?-- The Zeraora was clearly lost in his surroundings, he couldn't really feel anything, just an extreme lightness and abundance of energy.
--This is the ability of my Light Mind, just like you, I am a boost user. With it, I am able to differentiate and alternate the souls of Pokémon on different planes. I have temporarily separated your soul from its physical body, because I need you to listen to us carefully, Zeraora.-- She announced her reason for performing that technique with the electric pokémon, who was clearly perplexed due to the Pokemon's statement.
While that conversation was taking place, the situation in the house of the large cats did not improve, being that the Raichu was now trembling with nervousness to see that the temperature of the feline had increased to 42.5° in all this time that she tried to lower the temperature.
-- Damn it... it's not coming down at all! It looks more like a microwave than a Shinx!-- She exclaimed with great anger in her attempt to continue calming the little one's fever, until she was taken with the surprise that he began to cough uncontrollably and contract in despair, because the lack of air had become even more present. -- He's having a meltdown!-- She shouted while trying to give him first aid in such a situation, however she did not have the necessary equipment for high-level care, remaining in mere despair while wondering where the village leader was at that time.
--I'm back!-- Exclaimed the Zeraora crashing the door suddenly as he entered the place, looking at his nephew and giving way to the red and white pokémon from before. The doctor's doubt came to her mind, but before she could ask who it was and where the berries were, the flying pokémon teleported to the patient's side, surprised, the Raichu sparkled in defense mode before Zeraora caught her attention. --Wait! She's here to help.--
The pokémon was looking at the Shinx carefully, her look of intrigue quickly changed to a nostalgic one after seeing how the little one would ajar his eyes, momentarily connecting their gazes. After that short contact, the Pokémon extended its arms, through which certain flashes emerged, falling into the Shinx.
--Don't worry, I'm here.-- Whispered the pokemon starting to run her hands through the Shinx, covering it more of that flashing dust. After receiving that movement, the feline stopped coughing and began to calm his breathing.
-- Did he use pulse cure?-- Karen questioned herself looking at that act of kindness of the pokémon.
-- Yes, the berries will not do to treat him, what he has is a bigger problem.-- She pointed to take her backpack, and from it take out a strange gem, the size of which was comparable to that of a baseball.
When taking out said gem and bringing it closer to the Shinx, it began to levitate and flash bluish-hued lights, besides it began to reduce its size getting closer to the small one, the doubt about what that strange object was came to the doctors present in the room, although it would not last long because the pokémon answered.
--This, is a Soul Dew, an object that will keep Nikola healthy, as long as he wears it.-- Explained the pokémon, as the gem, which had become smaller, settled on the Shinx's leg, where it changed shape to become a kind of bracelet with the small gem embedded in it. At the end of the strange event, the Shinx seemed to sleep peacefully and without any problems.
-- Temperature?-- Said Karen watching as the Shinx slept like nothing.
--It's coming down...-- The Raichu replied with some surprise after seeing how the great temperature of the Shinx was finally subsiding.
--Well, that's all from my side, take care of the Shinx and the bracelet.-- She mentioned, to after just vanish from the place.
--Wait!-- Exclaimed Karen looking around trying to look for the pokémon, wondering who it was? And why had he given such a valuable object to the feline to save his life?
The Luxray as soon as she entered, she looked at the little feline sleeping peacefully, and between tears she approached to take and hug him letting out a cry of relief. The embrace was soon joined by Nate, who, seeing his wife broken in cry, and the Shinx safe, he could not help but approach to take a good look at his calf. While the tender and comforting scene was taking place in the room, Zeraora brought his paws to the back of his head to instantly leave the place, followed by the Raichu still doubtful of what she witnessed.
--Zeraora, that pokémon, who was she?-- Questioned Karen, calling the slight attention of the Zeraora to stop his walk, although without looking at her, he replied.
--She is an Explorer, she was walking nearby and when she saw me picking the berries, she did a weird thing of reading my mind and understood the situation, she said that the only hope for Nikola to be okay was that object.-- He explained to leave the house at once, leaving behind the Raichu, who, already with the answer was thinking a little before heading to the Shinx's room. Zera kept moving forward without a fixed course, stopping to watch as the sky began to clear after that intense storm. From outside, he was looking from the exit of the house at the Shinx's room, noticing how his bracelet emitted a slight glow before turning off again. -- Fate is very cruel... isn't that right?-- He questioned himself to surround himself with energy and take a big leap, moving away from the house.
