After a week of a stop on Rind Island, the gang is now headed to the Pummelo Island where the Orange League is held and they are going to battle the Champion and Leader of the Orange Crew, Drake Yuuji so they can obtain the Orange League Trophy.

Raichu looked to the side and saw something, "Raichu? (What's that?)" He asked.

"Pi?" Light looked and saw a silhouette of a Pokémon flying across the ocean water, fast.

"Fast." Mairin gawked.

Yuna pulled out her PokéNav Plus and pointedly the silhouette Pokémon that took off into the sky, it scanned the Pokémon.

The images of the Pokémon appeared in full colour, "Pokémon Identified; Dragonite, the Dragon Pokémon. Type; Dragon and Flying-type." The female mechanical voice said.

"A Dragonite huh? Must belong to Drake, his the only one of Pummelo Island that has a Dragonite." Alain said.

Volkner nodded.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

"Hello, were both here to challenge the Orange League." Yuna told the Receptionist man.

"Another and this time two." The Receptionist man said, "I need your Pokédex's and your badges to verify them please."

Both Yuna and Alain handed over their Pokédex and the Receptionist man and held onto their badges.

The Receptionist man slot Yuna's Pokédex in first, he typed up some things, "Alright. Ohoho, your the Champion of the Indigo League, Yuna Destiny Mew Ketchum from Pallet Town." He ejected the Pokédex back out and handed back to Yuna and then he scanned the badges, one at a time.

On the computer screen showed up Yuna's information and on the left side showed the four Orange League badges.

"Okay. Your all set. Since I've did you first your match is at ten o'clock today." The Receptionist man said.

Yuna nodded, "Okay and thank you."

"Your welcome and now your turn." The Receptionist man slotted Alain's Pokédex into the computer and typed somethings on the keyboard, "Ohoho, another recent Champion and all the way from Kalos Region. Alain Sycamore from Lumiose City." He ejected the Pokédex out and handed it back to Alain, he then scanned each Orange League badges that was pinned into Alain's jacket.

On the computer screen showed up all Alain's information and his four Orange Island badges on the side.

"Okay your all done as well and your match is tomorrow at the same time." The Receptionist man said.

Takato was staring at the Dragonite statue, "Oh wow."

"It's a Dragonite." Volkner said.

"Dragonite is one of Drake's Pokémon and his strongest." The Receptionist man said. "Also because of his Dragonite Drake hasn't been defeated for quite a while."

"Where is the stadium?" Mairin butted in.

"Follow me." The Receptionist led them outside.

The gang continued to follow the Receptionist man till they reach two building and one of them is Pummelo Stadium.

"That's Pummelo Stadium were you two will have your battles." The Receptionist man said.

Takato notice another building beside it, "Excuse me, what is this building?" He asked, curiously.

"This is the Palace of Victory." The Receptionist man replied.

"Victory?" Both kids said.

The Receptionist man lead them inside the building, "Well that's the offical name but people knows it now as the Hall of Fame." He said.

"Hall of Fame?" Both kids said, "We like that name better."

The Receptionist man chuckled, "All these photos, displays and trophies are here to honour every trainer whose been victorious in the Orange League, since the establishment of the winners trophies." He explained.

"Oh wow." Yuna was impressed.

"To get into the Hall of Fame, a trainer has to defeat the Four Members of the Orange League and the Pummelo Gym Leader in a full Pokémon battle."

"A full Pokémon battle huh, then a six-on-six Pokémon battle." Alain said.

"That's correct and I'm sure you all must notice that the competition in each one of the Orange Island is very different, that's because the Orange Crew believes it's important to test both trainers and Pokémon under lots of different circumstances, to prove how well they work together." The Receptionist man explained, "And if your able to win in all four Orange Gyms and in the Orange League you all deserve to be in the Hall of Fame."

"Sounds awesome." Takato said.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

In Pummelo Stadium, the Leader of the Orange Crew was looking up in the sky with a bored expression.

"I wonder if there'll ever be a challenger strong enough to triumph over us." Drake Yuuji sighs.

The true is that a lot of Pokémon trainers have challenged him in the past and he easily defeated them all, so his wish to have a challenger to give him a great fight but also triumph over him.

Drake checked the challengers and he saw two on the list and both names got him interested, "Yuna Destiny Mew Ketchum and Alain Sycamore, those two are the two youngest League champions." He remembered watching their battles, Yuna was a skill creative trainer who was unpredictable because of her attacks she calls out and Alain Sycamore was a Power battler especially with Charizard who dominated all six Pokémon in the final round, he had a small smirk on his face, "Finally..."

Unknown to Drake that he was being spied on by Team Rocket.

Team Rocket were at Pummelo Stadium, they heard that Drake owns a Dragonite and they wanted to capture the dragon Pokémon for their boss.

"Okay, so how should we do this? I mean we can't just nab Dragonite because of its strong strength." James responded.

"Your right James and the only way we can get it, is by beating it first." Jessie added.

Suddenly they head an announcement.

"Attention! Attention! Tomorrow at 10 o'clock, a Challenger is going to face against Drake Yuuji for the Orange League Trophy!"

Meowth got an idea, "Thats it! That challenger can weaken the Dragonite for us and then we'll nab it." He smirked.

"Excellent plan." James and Jessie agreed.

✿ ---- ⇒  [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

That evening, the gang were relaxing in their rooms at the Pokémon Centre.

"What six Pokémon are you going to use Yuna?" Mairin asked.

"Don't know, but I'm thinking." Yuna replied.

"Better be careful. All we know that Drake has a Dragonite and that's it." Alain said.

"I know, I'm going with Miyuki for one."

"Ice and Fairy-type." Volkner said.

"I'll try to balance out my team."

"Chrystal? What type is he?" Mairin asked.

"We found out when we where training him. He is a Rock and Water-type."

"Eh! So he can use Water-type attacks as well?"

"Professor Oak examined Chrystal and he said due to his original home environment and made out of crystal, he developed some Water-type attacks." Alain explained.

"Umhmm, Chrystal is going to battle as well." Yuna said, "And the rest your going to found out tomorrow." She added, quickly.

Mairin and Takato pouted, "No way~~"

The three oldest laughed.

"Welcome Pokémon fans! Pummelo Stadium is pulsing with excitement, as we get set for the first Orange League Competition season!"

Drake Yuuji entered the stadium.

"And here is Drake Yuuji, the Leader of the Orange Crew and undefeated Pummelo Island Gym Leader!"

The crowd cheered.

Yuna entered the stadium with Light on her shoulder, she walked towards the centre of the stadium.

"Opposing him from Pallet Town, Yuna Destiny Mew Ketchum, for those who don't know her, Yuna is the Champion of the Indigo Plateau and consider the youngest champion winner at the age of 11."

The crowd cheered and some were amazed, excited as well.

"And she hopes to end Drake's winning streak, so she can earn herself the winner's trophy and place herself in the Orange League, Hall of Fame!"

Both Drake and Yuna were at the centre of the stadium, facing one of another.

Both Gym Leader and Challenger shook hands.

"The trainers begin with a traditional hand shake."

"Welcome to the Pummelo Gym Yuna and the Orange League Winners Trophy Competition." Drake said.

"Nice to meet you Drake, I've heard a lot about you and your battles." Yuna said.

Drake nodded, "I've heard about you too Yuna and I have to say, you've battled great in the Indigo Plateau. Hope you can do the same against me."

Yuna nodded, "You bet. I'm not holding back." She smiled.

"This is a full 6-on-6 full Pokémon Battle, when three of either Pokémon trainers are unable to battle, their will be a Field Change." The referee explained the rules.

Yuna nodded, then she heard some mechanisms noise coming from behind her, she turned around and spotted the field changing.

"The Gym Leader is forbidden to substitute Pokémon during battle but the challenger may switch Pokémon at anytime."

"The battle will begin on a Rock and Water field."

"This winner trophy match is about to begin. So choose your Pokémon and good luck to you both." The referee said.

Throughout the entire island, people were watching the competition on the screens and television.

In Pallet Town.

Pallet Town people were watching as well, they were all excited to see their Kanto Princess battle.

"And now we'll see which Pokémon the trainers shall choose, an important decision should give us an idea what their opponents are planning."

DING! The crowd cheered.

"I hope this one makes a good impression." Drake sent out his first Pokémon.

"Ditto Ditto." The transform Pokémon said, appearing on the field.

Yuna pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the transform Pokémon.

[Ditto, the Transform Pokémon. Ditto has the ability to reconstruct its entire cellular structure into whatever it sees.]

"Orange Crew, Drake has made Ditto his first choice. Transform is one Ditto's technique but this Pokémon turns its opponent strength into it's own. Which can be devastating."

"Interesting choice of Pokémon. Ditto can imitate any Pokémon it transforms into, but also the attack." Alain commented, "I can see why trainers who challenge Drake as a difficult problem in their first match."

"Now let's see which six Pokémon the challenger is going to use."

"Hida, I choose you." Yuna sent out the female martial battle Pokémon.

"Haiteon." Hida appeared, ready.

"And Yuna's first Pokémon is Haiteon Female. A newly discovered Eeveelution a Fighting-type Pokémon. This is going to be a interesting battle to see!"

"Let the battle begin!" The referee announced.

"Ditto, Transform!" Drake ordered.

"Ditto! Ditto!" Ditto began to glow and as the light died down, revealing another female Haiteon on the field.

"And Ditto has Transform into a Haiteon."

"No offence to the Pokémon or Drake but Yuna has this battle won." Alain stated.

"What?" Takato blinked.

"The problem is that Ditto may be able to copy all of Hida's appear and attacks but does Drake know them. Remember that Haiteon is a newly discovered Pokémon." Volkner explained.

"Oh." Mairin nodded.

"Hida use Focus Blast." Yuna started off.

"Intercept with your own Focus Blast." Drake countered.

Both Pokémon fired a Focus Blast attack, as both attacks collided against each other, creating a explosion in the centre.

[A/N: Right I'm going to call Copy Haiteon, Ditto still.]

"Hida use Iron Tail." Hida rushed into the smokes and reappeared in front of Ditto and her tail glowed metallic colour, she slam her tail onto its stomach, sending into the air.

"Haiteon!" It cried out.

"Ditto!" Drake called out.

"Don't let Ditto recover, use Wrap and then Close Combat." Yuna commanded.

The collar sash around Hida neck glowed and then the sash extended, wrapping around the copy and then pulled down fast towards the martial battle Pokémon, she then started to use various of kicks combo and the final kick, sent the transform Pokémon flying backwards, crashing into the ground.

"Ditto..." Copy Haiteon glowed before reconverting back to the transform Pokémon, who is unconscious with swirling eyes, "Di-Ditt-o..."

"Ditto is unable to battle!" The referee raised the green flag, "Haiteon is the winner!" He declared.

"The first battle goes to the challenger, Yuna Ketchum and Haiteon."

Drake recalled back his Ditto, "Thanks Ditto. I should've know about Haiteon attacks but I didn't." He said, he held out another Pokéball, "Hope your ready for the next Pokémon. Because this next one is going to rock you!" He sent out the rock snake Pokémon.

"Roarrr!" Onix roared out.

"For his second Pokémon, Drake has chosen Onix. Now how will Ketchum response."

"Hida return." Yuna recalled back her female martial battle Pokémon, "Well, this one is going to surprise everyone. Chrystal, I choose you!" She sent out the crystal snake Pokémon.

"Roar!" Chrystal roared as he appeared on the field.

Everyone who was watching this froze in shock and jaw dropped.

"IS THAT A ONIX MADE OUT CRYSTAL?!!" Came from everyone watching this battle.

"Dear Arceus! Are you seeing what I'm seeing folks! That is an Onix and that Onix is made out of Crystal! Unbelievable!"

Even Onix was surprise to see another Onix made out of Crystal.

Both Onix's roared at each other, ready to battle.

"A real live Crystal Onix." Drake said, amazed. He heard rumours about a Crystal Onix living somewhere on one of the Orange Islands but never seen, till now. "Onix use Rock Throw."

Onix summoned rocks around itself and threw them towards the other Onix.

"Water Gun." Yuna countered.

Chrystal drew in his breath.

"What?" Drake eyed widen, as he saw the Crystal Onix launched water from his mouth.

Chrystal fired Water Gun hits each of the Rock Throw, hitting it away and the water continued and it hit the rock snake Pokémon, who roared out in pain.

"Unbelievable folks! Crystal Onix just used a Water-type attack is that even possible?" Then the announcer got a message, "Oh, it's seems it is possible. According to the note here written by Professor Oak himself that the Crystal Onix is a new form of an Onix, like the Alolan Form Pokémon in the Alola Region. The Crystal Onix is a Rock and Water-type Pokémon." He read out.

The crowd murmured nodding and understanding it.

"Now that he mentioned it. Professor Oak has been updating the Pokédex for the last few days because of the newly discovered Pokémon, we've been discovering." Alain said, amused. He pulled out his Pokédex and scanned the Crystal Onix.

[Crystal Onix, the Crystal Snake Pokémon. The Crystal Onix is unique form of another Onix, it can live in water without being hurt by it, due to its body is made out of glass crystals, given it the resistance to Water-type attacks and because of that it's considered a Rock and Water-type.

Note: Crystal Onix is considered a myth, only hearing stories about it and it only appears in front of True or Pure Heart Trainers.]

"Ah." Volkner said.

"Seems like this is going to be even more difficult now, were at a disadvantage." Drake said, after hearing that, "Onix use Iron Tail!"

"Chrystal, Iron Tail as well." Yuna said.

Both rock and crystal snake Pokémon tails glowed metallic colour and slammed against each other like sword, either is backing down.

"Look at them go! Iron Tail against Iron Tail!"

Both Onix's roared at each other and then slammed one more Iron Tail, making both Pokémon skated backwards, they continued to glare at each other.

"Hydro Pump!" Chrystal launched a Hydro Pump attack towards the rock snake Pokémon.

"Dig!" Onix drove into the ground, avoiding the Hydro Pump attack.

"Another, into the hole." The crystal snake Pokémon immediately launched another Hydro Pump into the hole where the rock snake went.

"Onix get out!" Drake exclaimed.

But it was too late, the Hydro Pump hit Onix that was underground, forcing it out and cried out in pain.

"Roar!" Onix growled one more time before collapsing onto the ground with swirling eyes.

"Onix is unable to battle!" The referee raised the green flag, "Crystal Onix is the winner!"

"And that's the second defeat for Drake."

"Onix return now." Drake recalled back his fallen rock snake Pokémon, to its Pokéball.

"Drake lost again."

"Yeah."

"That kid isn't bad."

"Of course she isn't." A male trainer retorted.

"What?" Most people were looking at the person who said that.

"She's my idol and when I become a Pokémon trainer, I'm going to become strong just like her." A little girl around nine said.

The male trainer chuckled at his little sister, "Yeah, you are."

The little girl beamed at her brother.

"Yuna Ketchum has a reputation and if you want to know what, then I suggest search her up and her records." The male trainer said, "And that's all I'm going to say."

"Well Yuna, so far you've been two of my Pokémon." Drake said and held up a Pokéball, "But this time you don't stand a ghost of a chance."

"Gengar." The shadow Pokémon grinned.

"A Gengar." Yuna said.

"Drake has chosen the Ghost and Poison-type Pokémon, Gengar."

"Thanks Chrystal, return." Yuna recalled back her crystal snake Pokémon.

"Which Pokémon will Ketchum select next?"

"Proteus, I choose you." Yuna sent out the moonlight Pokémon.

"Umbreon!" Proteus appeared, glittering and ready to battle.

"Wow! Ketchum has chosen a Shiny Umbreon, a Dark-Type Eeveelution for her third Pokémon."

"Gengar use Shadow Ball!"

"Intercepted that with your own Proteus."

Both Pokémon launched a Shadow Ball at each other and the attack, canceled each other out.

"Gengar, Shadow Sneak."

"Gengengen!" The shadow Pokémon snickers and then fades into the rocky ground, disappearing.

"Bre." Proteus looked around, keeping his guard up.

"Use Brick Break." Drake called out.

Gengar laughed as it reappeared behind the shiny moonlight Pokémon with its claws glowing.

"Use Iron Tail to intercept it." Yuna countered.

Proteus tail glowed metallic colour immediately and then slammed it against the Brick Break attack, he put more power into the attack, he spun, deflecting the Brick Break and then slammed an Iron Tail on the stomach of the shadow Pokémon.

"GENGAR!" It cried out in pain.

Drake eyes widen, "Gengar, Focus Blast!" He called out.

"Hidden Power."

The shadow Pokémon fired a white blast towards the shiny moonlight Pokémon who destroyed the blast with Hidden Power.

"Look at these two Pokémon go! Either are giving an inch up!"

Both Pokémon glared at each other with there red eyes.

"Proteus, Psychic and then Dark Tackle." Yuna said.

The shiny moonlight Pokémon eyes glowed blue and a blue outline appeared around the shadow Pokémon and it was pulled down.

Gengar was panicking as it was pulled to the ground.

"Oh no." Drake said, "Gengar try and break free."

The shadow Pokémon struggled to try and break free of the Psychic attack.

"Uh oh, this could be trouble for Drake's Gengar. It's trapped by Umbreon's Psychic attack."

Proteus continues to use Psychic holding the shadow Pokémon on the ground, he dashed across the rocky field and his body becomes surrounded by black purplish waves and charges at the trapped Gengar with his body looking white.

"Gengar? GENGAR!" The shadow Pokémon cried out in pain as the attack hits and it collapsed on the ground with swirling eyes.

"Umbreon." The shiny moonlight Pokémon said, he slightly flinched and black electricity sparks around his body, appeared for a split second.

"Gengar is unable to battle!" The referee raised the green flag, "Umbreon is the winner!"

"Gengar return." Drake recalled back his fallen Pokémon back to his Pokéball, "Great work. You deserve a good rest." He looked at Yuna who was petting the shiny moonlight Pokémon, "As expected from the Kanto Princess. An unpredictable trainer."

"This is the first time that a challenger has knocked out three of Drake's Pokémon in a row."

The referee crossed his arms, "Time out for the field change." He announced.

"In the winner's trophy competition, whenever three of either trainers Pokémon are defeated, the field is changed." The field moved, "Now both these trainers will have to adapt, come up with new battle strategies."

Yuna sat down on the bench and took a sip of water from her drink bottle.

"So far so good." Mairin said.

"Yeah. Nice work nee-chan, you've taken out three and still have all your Pokémon remaining." Takato said.

"True, but don't underestimate Drake, he has his ace still." Volkner warned.

"I know." Yuna said.

"It's going to get more hard, from here on out." Alain said.

Drake was fiddling with his Pokéball necklace, "Your the only strategy, I need to win." He said, "Also it won't be bad to come up with a backup one either." He looked up at the Dragonite statue.

Team Rocket was sitting in the stadium, they were watching the battles and waiting for the Dragonite to appear.

• • • • •

"The new field is moving into place and the trainers are set for action."

"This time, the opponents will be duelling on a sandy desert-like field."

DING!

The crowd cheered.

"There's the bell to start the second half of the full six-on-six winner trophy's battle!"

Drake had a Pokéball in his hand, ready.

"Drake the undefeated Orange League Champion, has just three Pokémon left."

"I choose you, Venusaur." Drake sent out the seed Pokémon.

"Venusaur." The seed Pokémon said.

"Drake has chosen Venusaur, who has won many battles here in the past."

"Venusaur..." Yuna said, thinking, "I'll go with her. I choose you, Pidgeot." She sent out the bird Pokémon.

"Pidgeooottt!" The bird Pokémon screeched out, appearing, flapping her wings.

"Ketchum's fourth Pokémon is Pidgeot and take a look at the size of the Pidgeot folks, it's twice as big than the average Pidgeot's you see."

"Venusaur use Leaf Storm!" The seed Pokémon sent a storm, tornado of leaves towards the bird Pokémon.

"Dodge it and Air Slash." The bird Pokémon flew around, avoiding the Leaf Storm attack and her wings glowed light blue and she flaps them, releasing multiple light blue glowing saw disc like energy blade from her wings towards Venusaur.

"Protect." Venusaur brought up a green barrier around itself, protecting it from the Air Slash attack, "Sludge Bomb!" The seed Pokémon released blob of sludges from its back.

"Aerial Ace!" The bird Pokémon flies into the air, avoiding the Sludge Bomb attack, she flies at the seed Pokémon and flips in the air, then she becomes engulfed in streaks of white light, she disappeared before reappearing and hits Venusaur,

"Venusauuurrrr!" It cried out in pain, losing his feet ground as well.

"Venusaur!" Drake exclaimed.

"Don't let Venusaur recover! Pidgeot, Brave Bird now!" Yuna commanded.

"Pidgeooo!" The bird Pokémon flies into the air once more and she flies down towards the panting Venusaur like a missile, her body bursting into flames, she opens up her wings and its body becomes surround in blue aura and she slams into the seed Pokémon.

"VENUSAURR!" The seed Pokémon cried out in pain and then collapsed on the ground with swirling eyes. "Saur..."

"Venusaur is unable to battle!" The referee raised the green, "Pidgeot is the winner!"

"You heard it fans. The challenger makes a quick defeat of Venusaur and has now defeated four of the Champions Pokémon."

The crowd cheered.

"Great job Pidgeot." Yuna praised her bird Pokémon.

"Pidgeoo." Pidgeot smiled, she felt the recoil damage from the Brave Bird but ignored it.

Drake recalled Venusaur back to its Pokéball, "You put up a fine battle. Pidgeot was too fast." He said, he held out another Pokéball, "Now I choose Electabuzz."

"Electaaa!" The electric Pokémon appeared, with electrical static around its body.

"The atmosphere here is charged and Electabuzz is Drake's fifth Pokémon."

"Pidgeot return." Yuna returned back her bird Pokémon, to her Pokéball.

"The challenger is changing Pokémon."

"Pika?" Light said.

Yuna looked down at her partner, "So Light, up for a battle?" She asked.

Light ears perked up, "Pika! Pikapi!" She smiled and jumped to the field. "Pikachu!" Her cheeks sparks.

"And Ketchum's fifth Pokémon is Pikachu. An Electric-type against Electric-type. Who will win in this match?"

"Ouch." Takato grimaced, "The strongest."

"Go Light!" Mairin cheered.

"Raichu!" Raichu cheered.

"Chespie!" Chespie shouted out.

"Arf!" Zack barked.

"Electabuzz, Iron Tail!"

"Dodge it and then Iron Tail."

"Electabuzz!" The electric Pokémon tail glowed metallic colour has it ran across the sandy field towards the mouse Pokémon.

"Pi-Pika!" Light dodges the Iron Tail before it could hit her and her tail glowed metallic colour, she jumped and slammed an Iron Tail onto Electabuzz stomach, making the electric Pokémon slide backwards.

"Elect!" Electabuzz got up and glared at the mouse Pokémon.

"Electabuzz use Fire Punch!" The electric Pokémon charges towards Light with its fist, blazing with flames.

"Dig." Light dug into the sandy field, escaping the Fire Punch.

"And Pikachu uses Dig a Ground-type move to avoid the Fire Punch. Shocking!?"

Drake eyes widen in disbelief, "An Electric-type using a Ground-type attack. Electabuzz, stay on guard!" He called out.

"Where is Pikachu?"

"Elect?" Electabuzz looked around, everywhere.

"Focus Punch and Iron Tail!" Yuna called out.

"Pika-Pikachu!" Light appeared from below the electric Pokémon and punched it on the chin and she spun her body with her tail glowing metallic colour, she slammed her tail onto the stomach of Electabuzz.

"Electabuzzz!" The electric Pokémon slides backwards and it stopped, panting from the attack.

"Electabuzz, you okay?" Drake asked his Pokémon.

Electabuzz nodded, barely, "Elect!" It still able to battle.

"Pikachu." Light landed in the centre of the field.

"Light, Electro Ball." Yuna said.

Light's body becomes surrounded in yellow electricity and multiple yellow sparks come off her body, "Pikapikapikapika Pikapi!" All electricity forms a orange-yellow orb of electricity and sparks at the top of her tail, she jumped and flings the orb at the electric Pokémon.

"Focus Blast!" Electabuzz brought its arms together and forms a white blast orb into the centre and launched it at the Electro Ball.

"Ice Punch!" Electabuzz charges into towards the mouse Pokémon with its fist encased in ice.

"Volt Tackle." Light eyed narrowed and she charges towards the electric Pokémon with her body surrounded in golden electricity, her body looks black and white.

"Electabuzz!" The electric Pokémon reels its fist back and punches the mouse Pokémon.

"Pikapi!" Light hits head into the Ice Punch.

BOOM!

A massive explosion was occurred in the field, dust clouds appeared around the field.

"Oh! And the Volt Tackle from Pikachu heads into the Ice Punch from the Electabuzz! We can't see who is still standing from the dust cloud, we'll have to wait."

Drake and Yuna both stared at the dust cloud.

Everyone saw two silhouette standing into the dust clouds and as it began to slowly disappear, they saw Electabuzz standing, breathing heavily and sweating, Light who stood on her legs and staring at the electric Pokémon, calmly, ignoring the electric sparks appearing before disappearing.

"Elec- Electabuzz." Electabuzz collapsed onto the ground with swirling eyes.

"Electabuzz is unable to battle!" The referee raised the green flag, "Pikachu is the winner!"

The crowd cheered.

Drake returned his fainted Electabuzz back to its Pokéball, "Good work Electabuzz." He said.

"Pikachu Pika!" Light jumped onto her partners shoulder and nuzzled her, "Pikachu!"

Yuna smiled, "Glad you enjoyed the battle." She said.

"Now Challenger Yuna Destiny Mew Ketchum is one victory away from the winners trophy."

"Dragonite is next." Alain said.

"But as we've seen it before, Drake saves the best for last."

Drake pulled the Pokéball off his necklace.

Everyone was silent and eager to see Drake's ace Pokémon.

The Orange League Champion, enlarged the Pokéball, "My last hope." He said, "I choose you..." He toss the Pokéball in the air.

"Nite." The dragon Pokémon appeared.

[A/N: I have no idea what Dragonite even sounds like, from the sound in the anime, cross began a seal sound and the usual, Rargh.]

"Drake's last Pokémon the Legendary Pokémon Dragonite and if Dragonite goes down, this battle is over."

'You maybe my last Pokémon Dragonite, but with you the battle is just beginning.' Drake thought, he slipped on a bracelet with a Key Stone on it.

Alain eyes narrowed, "That Dragonite can Mega Evolve." He stated, pulled out his Pokédex to record the battle.

"What?!" Mairin and Takato exclaimed.

"Look closely around Dragonite's neck. There's a Mega Stone on the necklace around its neck." Volkner pointed out.

"And now the challenger, which Pokémon will she call out to battle against Dragonite."

"Were going up against a Mega Pokémon, so..." Yuna took out a Pokéball and enlarged it, "Faris, I choose you." She tossed the Pokéball into the air.

"Char!" The flame Pokémon roared, as he appeared.

Dragonite and Faris stared down at each other both growling, ready to fight.

"And it's Charizard against Dragonite! You can feel the intense pressure coming from both Pokémon folks!"

"Dragonite use Hydro Pump!" Drake started off.

"Evaporate that Hydro Pump." Yuna countered.

Dragonite launched a burst of water from its mouth towards the flame Pokémon who launched a blast of flames from his mouth, evaporating the water.

"Now, Dragon Pulse!" Faris launched a blueish/ green orb from his mouth.

"Dodge it!" The dragon Pokémon flew up, avoiding the Dragon Pulse attack, "Now, Ice Beam!" It fires a icy blue beam towards the flame Pokémon on the ground still.

"Ice Dragon Claw!" Faris roared as he took off into the air, charging straight into the Ice Beam and he used his Dragon Claw, absorbing the attack, his greenish claw became blueish white and he charged forwards with it.

"Dragon Claw!" Dragonite roared out as well, he charged in with his greenish claws.

Both claws struck each other and they flew in the air, attacking non-stop.

"Incredible! Just look at those two Pokémon go! Claw against Claw!"

Drake was starting to smile, "Finally. Dragonite, Dragon Dance and Dragon Rush!" He shouted.

The dragon Pokémon attack and speed was increased, it flew backwards and its body was surrounded in blueish flame aura, it charged towards Faris.

"Dragon Dance as well and Flame Charge!" Yuna countered.

The flame Pokémon attack and speed increased, he charged towards Dragonite with his body covered in flames.

"This is going to huge folks!"

And like the announcer said, both attack hits each other, causing a massive explosion.

BOOM!

Two growls were heard from the smoke and than as the smoke began to disappear, showed Dragonite and Faris, in mid-air, growling and snarling at each other.

"Iron Tail!" Both trainer shouted out.

Both Pokémon tail glowed metallic and against each other, like swords.

"And their both at it again! No one is giving up!"

At this time Team Rocket was watching and observing the match.

"That Dragonite is stronger than we thought it was and with that twerps Charizard, it's going to be real trouble to grab it." Jessie explained.

"Should we nab it now?" Meowth asked.

James shook his head, negatively, "No, no, no. Dragonite is not eve. weaken enough yet." He replied.

Meowth and Jessie nodded, they understood that.

Both Dragonite and Faris slammed one more Iron Tail before, landing back on their trainers side, glaring and fangs.

Drake held up his right hand, showing a Key Stone in the bracelet, "Dragonite let's go this." He touch his Key Stone, "Go beyond evolution, Mega Evolve!"

Everyone watched as Dragonite was covered in light, the dragon Pokémon Mega Evolve.

"Rargh!" Mega Dragonite roared out, in its Mega form.

"That's new." Yuna said, "Never seen or known about a Mega Dragonite before."

"I don't really use it. I found this Mega Stone awhile back, Dragonite and I bond was enough for it to work out first and since then, we've trained in Mega Form." Drake explained.

"Wow, Dragonite looks so cool!" Takato exclaimed with star eyes.

"I'll admit, it's impressive." Alain confessed, taking pictures and taking notes.

"Faris?" Yuna said, taking out her Key Stone necklace, placing it around her neck, "Let's make that two."

Faris nodded.

"Key Stone, respond to the bond between my Pokémon and I." Yuna touched the stone and raised her right hand in the air, "Go beyond evolution, Mega Evolve!"

Faris Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X and roared out.

"I thought Faris would have the Charizardite Y, but I forgotten that we've found another X from that suitcase." Alain said.

"THIS IS GOING TO BE SPECTACULAR FOLKS! Both Pokémon have Mega Evolved! Drake Yuuji has never shown it before and now he has for the very first time! Mega Dragonite against Mega Charizard X, who will be victorious now?!"

The crowd roared in cheers.

Both Pokémon prepared themselves to attack each other once again.

"Faris, Flamethrower!"

"Mega Dragonite, Hydro Pump!"

Both Mega Pokémon launched their attack and the flames were dowse by the water.

"Mega Dragonite, Thunderbolt!"

"Rarghhh!" The mega dragon Pokémon fired a bolt of electricity towards the mega flame Pokémon.

"Gragh." Faris growled as he was hit but quickly Steel Wing and flew down, digging his wing into the ground and the electricity was redirect into the ground.

"Water Pulse!" Mega Dragonite launches a pulse of water towards the mega flame Pokémon.

"Air Slash and use Dragon Rush." Faris flapped his wings, releasing clear spinning disc towards the rushing Water Pulse, slicing it in half and he drove through the cut water with his body surrounded blue aura.

"Rargh!" Mega Dragonite cried out in pain as the attack hits.

"Dragonite! Quick Dragonite, Thunder Punch!" Drake ordered, quickly.

"Close range!" Yuna shouted.

The mega dragon Pokémon grunted and lifted its fist with electricity around it to punch Faris, but the mega flame Pokémon launches a close range Dragon Pulse from his mouth, hitting Mega Dragonite on the stomach directly.

"Rarghhh!" The mega dragon Pokémon cried out in pain, panting and it was on one knee.

"Dragonite! Dragonite, you oaky?" Drake asked his Pokémon.

Jessie and Meowth turned to their blue hair member, "Now?"

James grinned, "Now."

It was time to put their plan into action.

"Dragonite use Roost." Drake said.

Mega Dragonite nodded, it closed its eyes and its body began to glow brightly. The mega dragon Pokémon body was slowly healing some of its strengths and after a few seconds, it's eyes snapped opened. Ready to continue battling.

"Nice, Faris use- What in the world?" Yuna looked up immediately, seeing a shadow.

"Hey, wait! What's that up there?!"

Everyone else looked up in the air, seeing a Meowth head, hot air balloon flying above the stadium.

"Team Rocket." Alain and Volkner said.

"Figures they'll try something like this." Volkner added, sighing.

Mairin groaned, "And the battle was getting more intense." She said.

Takato nodded, "Uh huh."

"Wahahahahahaha!" Team Rocket laughed and in a quick flash, they flung a net over Mega Dragonite and Faris. "Whahahahahaha!"

"Prepare for trouble!" Jessie started, their motto.

"Make it double." James continued.

"To protect the world from devastation."

"Team Rocket." Yuna cut in.

"Ahem! To unite all people within our nation." James continues.

"To denounce the evil of true and love."

"To extend our reach to the star above."

"Jessie."

"James."

"How dare you interrupt this competition!" Drake cut in.

"Grr, we aren't finished yet!" Jessie shouted, annoyed they got interrupted twice, "Ahem, also thanks for the help twerp." She said to Yuna.

Yuna frowned, "Ah..." She said, realising what Jessie mean by that. "No, thank you!" She added, knowing what they are bout to say.

Team Rocket smirked, "And now with this Dragonite and Charizard, we'll be unstoppable." They said.

Faris and Mega Dragonite both stood calmly inside the net.

"Faris." Yuna called out.

"Dragonite." Drake said.

"Flamethrower!" They both commanded.

Both Pokémon fires blue/white flames and orange/red flame, the Flamethrower at Team Rocket's balloon.

"Uh oh!" Meowth paled.

"We've should've gotten a attack type proof net!" James said.

"NOW, you say it!" Jessie exclaimed.

BLAST! BOOM!"

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket shouted, in the distance.

"They never learn." Mairin said, looking at the area were Team Rocket was blasted off too.

"It's Team Rocket." Takato said, dryly.

"Well, that was completely out of the ordinary and unexpected event of today... Let the exciting Mega Match continue!!"

The crowd cheered loudly.

Yuna nodded, "Let's continue of were we left from... Faris, Fire Dragon Pulse!" She started off.

Faris growled and his mouth revealed a Dragon Pulse but it was reddish/ orange colour with flames flicking around it, he launched the combined attack towards the Mega dragon Pokémon.

Learning to fuse elements with the Dragon Pulse was a pain, especially learning to controlling your own types when your in Mega Form because the flames are currently blue and his adopted parents agreed but the result was worth it.

"Dragonite use Water Pulse!" Drake countered.

Mega Dragonite launches a Water Pulse towards the Fire Dragon Pulse and both attacks colloid, creating a explosion.

"Dragon Blast!" Faris roared and launched a blue Fire Blast kanji-like symbol through the smoke.

"RARGHH!" Mega Dragonite roared out in pain, as the super effective attack hits it mark.

"Dragonite!" Drake shouted out as his Pokémon was on one knee and it was panting heavily, breathing fast, 'Even with Roost, Dragonite is still exhausted from all those direct attacks.' He thought, "Dragonite, it's now or never. Full power, Hyper Beam!" He shouted.

"Rar-Rargh!" The mega dragon Pokémon eyes glowed white and a white orange ball forms in front of Mega Dragonite's mouth and the ball turns into a beam, it fires at the mega flame Pokémon.

"Lets end this! Faris, Blast Burn!" Yuna shouted.

[A/N: Too bad that the GIF for the Blast Burn attack was to large to upload: it was over 3M. *tears* I would've love to see it here. Just like all the other Blast Burn attacks.]

"ROAR!" Faris roared, as his power rose up even more and the temperature rise higher, he punched the ground, causing cracks to stretch all the way to Mega Dragonite Hyper Beam and a explosion, behind it, erupted from bellow.

Both attacks colloid but Blast Burn overpowered the Hyper Beam and headed directly towards the exhausted Mega Dragonite.

BOOM! Creating a massive explosion.

The referee, Drake and Yuna stood their ground as the shockwave occurred.

"INCREDIBLE! The attack from Hyper Beam and Blast Burn colloids, creating a massive explosion and we can't see which Pokémon is still standing! We have to wait and see folks!"

The dust cloud started to fade away, slowly.

The clear dust cloud reveals two Mega Pokémon glaring at each other.

Mega Dragonite had burn marks on its body, it was panting and breathing heavily.

Mega Charizard X growled at the mega dragon Pokémon in front of him.

"A stare down... Who will collapse first?"

"... Owwrrr..." Mega Dragonite closed its eyes and collapsed onto the ground, reconverting back to its original form with swirling eyes.

The referee raised the green flag, "Dragonite is unable to battle!" He pointed the flag in the challenger direction, "The winner of this competition is Yuna Destiny Mew Ketchum!"

The crowed cheered.

"The challenger wins the match! The challenger wins the match! The challenger wins the match!" The announcer repeated.

"Wohoo! You go nee-chan!" Takato cheered.

"Hooray! YUNA!" Mairin shouted out.

"Way to go." Alain said.

"Another Competition won." Volkner said.

"THEY ALL DID IT!" Both kids jumped up and down.

Zack barked happily and howled.

"Chespin!" Chespie smiled.

"Raichu!!" Raichu smiled, clapping with his paws.

"Pikachu!" Light smiled.

"ROARRRR!" Faris blew out flames, happily before reconverting back to his original form.

"Way to go! We won!" Yuna cheered.

"Dragonite, return." Drake recalled back his fallen Pokémon, "We found a worthy opponent. I'm very proud of you." He smiled at the Pokéball.

Yuna and all six of her Pokémon she used in the Orange League battle were all out and standing around her, on a platform.

"Yuna Destiny Mew Ketchum has beaten the undefeated Orange Crew Champion! Earning herself a place of honour in the Orange Island, Hall of Fame and the winner's trophy!"

Drake handed over the Orange League Trophy and Yuna took it.

"You really deserve that trophy Yuna, congratulations. Your a excellent Pokémon trainer." Drake praised.

"Thanks a lot Drake. I have great Pokémon." Yuna smiled.

"Roar!" Faris roared out.

"Haiteon!" Haiteon smiled.

"Roar!" Chrystal roared out.

"Umbreon." Proteus nodded.

"Pidgeooo." Pidgeot stretched her wings out.

"Pika Pikachu!" Light smiled.

"Your right." Yuna laughed.

Drake smiled, 'Well, that's one battle down and one more to go.' He looked at Alain.

Alain saw Drake face and nodded back.

And with the help of Yuna's Pokémon, she wins the match, winner's trophy and the rightful place in the Orange Island, Hall of Fame. Also like Drake said, tomorrow is the match between him and Alain, what could happen, is anyone guess.
