Sorry for not updating for weeks or nearly a month, I wasn't feeling the motivated for a while. But I'll be posting another chapter soon.

Our heroes have reach Kumquat Island, a known well Luxury Resorts that is also the home of the fourth and final member of the Orange League, whom both Yuna and Alain must defeat to qualify for the Orange League Competition.

"Just one more badge." Yuna smiled.

"Pika Pika!" Light smiled.

"What is this island about?" Takato asked.

"Um, from what I heard about this island, is that this place has great hotels, beautiful beach and natural hot springs." Alain responses.

The gang immediately got of their Pokémon and wondered around the Kumquat Island.

"This place is packed." Takato said, looking around.

"Well, like Alain said, it's famous because of those luxury resorts." Volkner said.

"Hey, can we try the hot springs?" Mairin asked.

"I don't mind but I would like to know like where the gym is." Yuna answered.

"I can help with that." A female voice said, from behind them.

The gang turned around, seeing a middle aged woman with shoulder length red hair and blue eyes, she wore a long dark blue dress with a yellow and green long sleeve coat over the top.

"Um, who are you?" Yuna asked.

"I'm Lunana Ryuchin. I'm a Manager of my own Luxury Hotel and the Kumquat Island Gym Leader." The woman introduced herself.

[A/N: Ryuchin is the name of Lunana Hotel, her Japanese name is Ruriko.]

Yuna eyes light up, "Thats great. I'm Yuna and this is Alain." Who she pointed at, "And we both wish to challenge you for the fourth Orange League Badge." She answered.

Lunana smiled, she looked at both challengers, "Well well, I accept both your challenge. We'll have our battle tomorrow." She responses.

"That's fine with us." Alain said.

"Also I suggest you all spent the night at my hotel." Lunana added.

"Yay!" Mairin cheered.

"We don't have to go searching." Takato cheered, as well.

"Thank you." Volkner said.

"Your welcome, follow me." Lunana walked ahead.

"Lets go." Both kids said.

The gang followed Lunana to hotel area.

When the gang saw the hotel it was impressive, 'HOTEL Ryuchin'.

"Wow." Mairin said.

"So the gym is inside?" Takato asked.

"That's right." Lunana replied. "Come on in."

The gang followed the Kumquat Island Gym Leader inside the hotel.

"Good afternoon." All the staffs greeted them.

"Chilten, would you prepare a deluxe suite for my guess, please." Lunana said to head male staff.

[A/N: Chilten; is the name I could hear what Lunana was calling him, if it's not. Then I'm sorry.]

Chilten bowed, "Right away ma'am." He nodded.

"Wohoo, we get a deluxe suite." Mairn said.

They walked through the hotel, following the Gym Leader, they saw a lot of Pokémon inside and seems to be training their own way.

"And this is were we'll have our match." Lunana spoke up.

The gang looked around, seeing a stadium like battle field.

"For my challenge is a Double Battle, so we'll use two Pokémon at the same time." Lunana explained her gym rules. "And when all of our Pokémon are unable to battle, they are the winner."

"A Double Battle, huh? Interesting." Volkner said.

"Okay Lunana." Yuna nodded.

"Great, we'll have our battle tomorrow and till then have free use of the hotel." Lunana offered.

"Thanks." The gang said.

At night, the gang were all relaxing in a hot spring.

"This is great." Yuna sighs.

"Pikapi." Light agreed.

"Hey, what Pokémon do you think Lunana is going to use tomorrow big brother, Yuna?" Mairin asked.

Alain lifted his head up, "Well, from what I searched, Lunana has an Alakazam that is her ace, but she uses Psychic-type and Ground-type Pokémon." He answered.

"Psychic and Ground huh?" Yuna muttered, "I'll go with them."

"Them?" Takato asked.

"Venusaur and Shirayuki, even if she is young, she was taught by her mother and don't forget that she and other Legendary Birds aren't young as Lugia is." Yuna answered.

"True." Volkner said. Zapdos knows lots of attack when he first trained him, he was trained by his father.

"Hm." Alain sighs. Moltres was the same, expect she was really eager to learn even more attacks. And she is the only female he has in his group.

✿ ---- ⇒  [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

Tomorrow came and Yuna who when first and Lunana were both ready to start the battle.

"This battle from visiting Pallet Town Trainer, Yuna Ketchum against Kumquat Gym Leader and Orange Crew, Lunana Ryuchin." The referee announced, who is Chilten, "The Challenger stands to win a Jade-Star Badge. The trainers have agreed in advance that this battle is a Double Pokémon Battle."

"Well Yuna, these are the Pokémon I'll be using. Alakazam and Marowak." Lunana sent out the psi and bone keeper Pokémon.

"Alakazam!" The psi Pokémon said.

"Maro Marowak." The bone keeper Pokémon said.

Yuna pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the bone keeper Pokémon.

[Marowak, the Bone Keeper Pokémon. The evolved form of Cubone. Despite its small size, it's offensive and defensive strength is impressive.]

"Right then, Shirayuki and Venusaur, I choose you." Yuna sent out the seed and shiny freeze Pokémon.

"Venusaur!" The seed Pokémon appeared on the field with a THUD!

"Arrrt~~" Shirayuki sang as she appeared, glittering and landing on the ground, the ground was slightly frozen, beneath her feet.

"Oh my..." Lunana was breath taken by the Legendary Pokémon, "An Shiny Articuno, but it looks young." She notice that this Shiny Articuno was smaller than the original.

"She is." Yuna said.

"I see..."

"You go Shirayuki!" Mairn cheered.

"Knock them out Venusaur!" Takato cheered.

• • • • •

"Art~~" The freeze Pokémon cooed.

"Saur." The seed Pokémon nodded.

The judge snapped out of it, "Let the Double Battle begin!" He announced.

"Marowak use Fire Blast on Articuno and Alakazam use Fire Punch on Venusaur." Lunana started off.

"Shirayuki, use Sheer Cold." The shiny freeze Pokémon body glows light, white blue and she flaps her wings once, her wings released light blue energy, freezing anything around it.

"Venusaur." The seed Pokémon used Protect when the field began to freeze, protecting himself from the Sheer Cold attack.

Everyone of Yuna's Pokémon are able to protect themselves against any all around attacks like, Sheer Cold, Petal Blizzard and such.

The Sheer Cold attack hits Alakazam and Marowak, they both flinched at the coldness and were frozen.

"Oh no!" Lunana was shocked.

"Alright!" The kids cheered with the Pokémon.

"She frozen both Pokémon." Volkner said.

• • • • •

"Venusaur, use Energy Ball on Marowak and Shira, use Signal Beam on Alakazam." Yuna commanded.

"Venusaurrr!" The seed Pokémon fires an Energy Ball towards the frozen bone keeper Pokémon.

"Arttt!" The shiny freeze Pokémon flew up and fires a multiple colour beam at the frozen psi Pokémon.

Both Energy Ball and Signal Beam hits both frozen Pokémon directly, breaking the ice.

"Marooo!"

"Alakazammmm!"

Both Pokémon cried out in pain, crashing onto the ice floor.

"Alakazam, Marowak! Are you two alright?" The Gym Leader asked both her Pokémon.

"Maro." The bone keeper Pokémon nodded, tiredly.

"Alakazam." The psi Pokémon nodded, weakly.

"Good. Alakazam use Teleport with Marowak and then Flamethrower on Venusaur and use Charge Beam on Articuno!" Lunana commanded.

"Alakazam." The psi Pokémon grabbed onto the bone keeper Pokémon and both teleported.

Both of the Gym Leader Pokémon reappeared above Yuna's Pokémon and they both charged up their attack.

"Marowak!" The bone keeper Pokémon launches a stream of flames towards the seed Pokémon.

"Alakazam!" The psi Pokémon fires a yellow beam towards the freeze Pokémon.

"Venusaur, Power Whip against the Charge Beam! Shirayuki, Water Pulse on the Flamethrower!" Yuna countered.

"Venusaur!" The seed Pokémon used his whip and it was glowing purple, he use absorb the attack and then use his vines, wrapping it around the psi Pokémon pulling it down.

"Arti!" The shiny freeze Pokémon flew up, dodging the Charge Beam and she fires a Water Pulse against the Flamethrower, dosing it.

"Saur!" Venusaur used Vine Whip, grabbing hold on the bone keeper Pokémon and pulling it down as well.

"Marowak!"

"Alakazam!"

Both Pokémon landed on the ground with a CRASH!

"Now Storm Blizzard." Yuna said.

Shirayuki and Venusaur nodded, the seed Pokémon sent out thousands of Petal Blizzard attacks and the shiny freeze Pokémon used Blizzard, freezing the Petal Blizzard attack, looking like a icy storm of petals around them all.

The Storm Blizzard hits both of the Gym Leader Pokémon and made them of them caught in the storm of petals.

"Marowak! Alakazam!" Lunana exclaimed out, seeing both her Pokémon caught in the combined attack.

"Storm Blizzard. There are two types of version from what Yuna told us before and this is one of them." Volkner said, watching the storm of blizzards.

"So pretty." Mairin awed, the blizzard were glittering as well.

As the attack started to fade, both Marowak and Alakazam were falling down, crashing into the field, both with swirling eyes.

"The Gym Leaders Pokémon, Marowak and Alakazam are unable to continued the battle." Chilten pointed towards Yuna, "Victory goes to the challenger."

Lunana was surprise but then smiles, "It's all over. Though I have one more match." She said.

Yuna smiled and hugged her Pokémon and petted them, "We did it. Thanks you two." She praises.

"Venusaur." The seed Pokémon nodded.

"Arccc~~" Shirayuki cooed as she was happy to win her first match.

"Alain, are you up for our Double Battle?" Lunana asked, her next challenger, still standing on her side of the field.

"Yes." Alain walked towards the other side of the field.

Yuna walked towards the others, standing on the side.

Takato hugged his sister, "That was sooo cool. Especially the last combined attacks." He grinned, looking up.

"Thanks." Yuna smiled.

✿ ---- ⇒  [Alain's Double Battle!] ⇐ ---- ✿

"This next battle from visiting Lumiose City Trainer, Alain Sycamore against Kumquat Gym Leader and Orange Crew, Lunana Ryuchin." Chilten announced the next match, "The Challenger also stands to win a Jade-Star Badge. The trainers have agreed in advance that this battle is a Double Pokémon Battle."

"These two are my next Pokémon, Hypno and Rhyhorn!" Lunana sent out the hypnosis and spikes Pokémon.

"Hypno." The hypnosis Pokémon said.

"Rhyy!" The spikes Pokémon roared out.

"So Lunana used Ground and Psychic type battle." Volkner commented.

• • • • •

"Lets go, Gyarados and Absol." Alain sent out the Shiny atrocious and disaster Pokémon to the field.

"Grrr!" Shiny Gyarados roared as he appeared.

"Absol." The disaster Pokémon said, appearing.

Chilten gulped at the sight of the Shiny Gyarados.

Lunana eyes widen, "Shiny Gyarados..." She was bewildered.

"Let's the Double Battle begin!" The referee declared.

"Gyarados use Hydro Pump on Rhyhorn and Absol use Dark Pulse on Hypno." Alain started off.

"Grr!" The shiny atrocious Pokémon launches a stream of water towards the spikes Pokémon.

"Abbssolll!" The disaster Pokémon fires a beam of black with purple outline towards the hypnosis Pokémon.

"Hypno use Protect." Lunana ordered.

Hypno stepped in front of Rhyhorn and brought up a green shield all around themselves, protecting them both from the Hydro Pump and Dark Pulse.

"Figures as much. Absol, break that with Feint and Gyarados follow up with Aqua Tail." Alain said.

Absol dashed towards the green barrier with its horn glowing white, with Gyarados, Aqua Tail followed up and he slammed into the Protect, destroying it and he immediately, taking Hypno by surprise, by tossing it into the air. He jumps, following after the Hypno Pokémon.

The Aqua Tail of the atrocious Pokémon immediately hits Rhyhorn and sending it backwards.

"Rhyyy!" It cried out in pain.

"Rhyhorn! Hypno use Signal Beam on Absol quickly!" Lunana

"Hypnooo!" It fires a multiple colour beam towards the disaster Pokémon.

"Use Night Slash." Alain countered, "Gyarados use Scald on Rhyhorn."

"Absol!" Absol sliced through the Signal Beam and he struck the hypnosis Pokémon on the stomach.

"Grr!" The atrocious Pokémon launches a steaming hot water towards the spikes Pokémon.

"Hypno! Rhyhorn use Thunderbolt!" Rhyhorn dodges the Scald by moving to the side, avoiding it and then it launches Thunderbolt on the atrocious Pokémon.

"GR!" The Shiny atrocious Pokémon growled, as he was struck and immediately dug his tail into the ground with an Iron Tail, redirecting the Electric-type attacking into the ground.

Lunana eyes widen when she witness that.

"Now Absol use Water Pulse on Rhyhorn. Gyarados, Dark Pulse on Hypno." Alain commanded.

The Kumquat Gym Leader snaps out of it and gasped, "Hypno use-"

"Absol!" The disaster Pokémon fires a Water Pulse from the air and it hit the spikes Pokémon directly.

"GRRR!" Shiny Gyarados growled and he immediately fires a Dark Pulse at Hypno who was preparing to attack but the Dark-type attack hits it directly first.

Both the hypnosis and spikes Pokémon collapsed on the ground with swirling eyes.

Lunana was shocked.

"The Gym Leaders Pokémon, Rhyhorn and Hypno are unable to continued the battle." Chilten pointed towards Alain, "Victory goes to the challenger."

"Absol!"

"Grr!"

Both disaster Pokémon and atrocious Pokémon called out, loudly.

"Wohoo! Another win!" Mairin cheered.

"Thanks." Alain said before returning both his Pokémon back to their Pokéball.

The gang all gathered up, happily.

Lunana returns both her unconscious Pokémon back to their Pokéball and saw walked towards the gang with Chilten.

"Now as Kumquat Island Gym Leader and the member of the Orange Crew, I happily present to you two the tokens of your victory." Lunana held out a grey-purplish conch shell with a small yellow gemstone on it, "The Jade-Star badge."

Both Yuna and Alain took the badge with a small smile, "Thank you, Lunana." They said.

"Now nee-chan and Alain have," Takato started.

"All Four Orange League Gym Badges." Mairin finished with a beaming smile.

"And that means that you two can compete with other qualified trainers in the Orange League Competition." Lunana said.

"The Orange League Trophy." Both kids chirped.

"That's right and in order to get it, you two must face the Leader of the Orange Crew. Drake Yuuji."

"Drake Yuuji, he has been bored for a long time." Volkner stated, silently and he then had a amused smile of his face, "Similar to me." He heard about Drake Yuuji wanting some worthy opponents, he hasn't battled a decent trainer in a long time.

Yuna and Alain nodded.

"That reminds me. If you guys ever ran into my son Travis, please tell him that I miss him and gave him my love." Lunana asked, a favour.

"Sure." Mairin said.

"It was great meeting you." Yuna said.

"Thanks for everything Lunana, everyone." Volkner said.

"Pika!"

"Rai!"

"Yeah, thank you!" Takato waved.

All Lunana staff members all waved good-bye at the gang, as they set sail.

"Have a safe trip and battle as hard as you can, to win the Orange League Trophy." Lunana waved.

"We hope you all enjoyed your stay here." Chilten said.

"Bye!"

"Goodbye!"

The gang waved back.
