Right now the gang is traveling through a mountain forest.

"Once we past these mountains we should find Fuchsia City." Brock said.

"Yes and in Fuchsia City is where I can get my sixth badge." Yuna said, excitedly.

As they continued walking along the road when suddenly an explosion happens and made the ground shake.

"Woah!" Takato kept his balance.

"What was that?" Mairin gasped in shock.

"I don't know." Brock said.

"It came from the other side of the hill." Alain said.

"We better check it out." Yuna said.

The gang ran up to the top of the hill and saw something that completely surprise them, they found out that the explosion was some trucks being destroyed by landslides and odd pit holes in the ground.

"What a mess." Brock said.

"This is terrible." Mairin said.

"What happen though?" Takato asked.

"I'll tell you what's going on." A angered voice said from across the gang, on the ground.

"Who?" Mairin asked.

The man across them was wearing some constructive worker clothes, "ITS BECAUSE OF THOSE DIGLETT!" He shouted angrily, as his face were face.

"Diglett?" Yuna said and looked up the Pokémon.

[Diglett, the Mole Pokémon. Diglett love to create underground tunnels.]

"Diglett! Diglett!" A bunch of Diglett appeared out of the ground with a smile eye, "Diglett! Diglett! Diglett!"

Mairin giggled, "Aw~ cute!"

"Happy little fellow aren't you." Yuna giggled.

Diglett smiled, "Diglett!"

"God! I hate those damn Diglett!" The Workerman shouted in frustration.

The gang looked at each other.

"Excuse me sir," Yuna said, getting the man attention, "but why do you hate Diglett?" She asked.

The man appeared in front of Yuna who jumped in surprise and she grabbed Alain's shirt in reaction.

"I'll tell you why... Because those Diglett keeps on interrupting our construction work." The man answered, "My men and I are trying to build a dam, but those Diglett keeps getting in the way."

"A dam..." Alain muttered.

Suddenly they heard vehicle sounds coming closer and close till they could see; some cars, trucks and buses came up the road.

"Ah, at last they've come." The Workerman said, happily all the sudden.

Takato frowned, "They?"

"I've asked some Pokémon trainers to help me get rid of the Diglett and if you want to help your welcome to." The Workerman answered, walking towards the trainers.

The gang frowned.

"I don't want to attack those Diglett." Yuna said, she let's go of Alain shirt.

"Same here, they must have a reason for attacking." Brock said.

"But what could it be?" Mairin questioned.

Takato saw a very familiar car and groaned, "Give me a break." He said.

"Arf! (Why!)" Zack barked, unhappy.

"Pikachu Pika. (Arrogant brat.)" Light said.

Yuna blinked confused by them, "What's wron- Oh man." She groaned.

A very familiar trainer came out of the red convertible car, along with cheerleaders.

"Its Baka Gary." Takato said.

Brock frowned, "Great." He said, sadistically

Alain eyes narrowed, he last saw him at Porta Vista but he had to leave the contest early because of Team Rocket. He mentally snorted, his attitude aura is still the same; screaming arrogant.

"Gary?" Yuna said, surprised.

Gary turned around seeing his rival, "Well of isn't Yuya." He said in a superior tone, "What brings you here?"

"On my way to get my sixth badge." Yuna said.

Gary chuckled, "I've already got my sixth badge." He said with a arrogant smirk.

"Good to know." Yuna rolled her eyes.

"Ches Chespin. (He hasn't change.)" Chespie spoke.

"Arf Arfff Rarf. (Been over three years or so, he hasn't.)" Zack deadpanned.

Gary notice Chespie and pointed at it, "What Pokémon is that?!" He exclaimed, taking out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon, but...

[No data Available.]

"What!!" Came the answer.

"Chespin is a Kalos region starter Pokémon. Baka Gary." Takato said.

"I'm not an idiot!" Gary retorted.

Takato shrugged his shoulders.

"Ah, who cares. I bet that Pokémon is very weak! My Pokémon are stronger then it, I bet I can beat it in no time flat." Gary said, arrogantly.

Mairin growled, "Hey!" She shouted, he has no right to claim that her partner is weak.

Alain glared.

"Chespin! (Watch it!)" Chespie warned with a glare.

"Gary Oak." Yuna spoke very calmly, "You know I can take insults at me but at Pokémon who you don't know or haven't seen before. Nobody and I mean nobody insults a Pokémon in front of me." She smiled at very very sweetly, "You know that right...?"

Gary froze and pale when he saw a dangerous Pokémon aura behind Yuna who is smiling normally.

Alain shook his head, "Yuna has limits but those limits are instantly snapped when anyone diss a Pokémon." He said.

"Uh huh." Brock, Mairin and Takato nodded.

"Pika. (Idiot.)" Light shook her head.

The Workman explained to the trainers that they needed to get rid of there Diglett. "These bugs cause nothing but trouble!" He shouted through the speaker.

Gary raised a hand in the air, "Excuse me, but Diglett are Ground-type." He corrected.

The gang stood from the distance and watched the scene play out.

Takato rolled his eyes, "What else is new?"

"An Alola Diglett, their Ground and Steel-type." Yuna chirped in.

"Really!"

"Yeah. Even has hair." Yuna giggled, she pulled out her Pokédex and showed them the Alola Diglett.

Mairin giggled, "Cute~"

Alain shook his head.

Brock also found it amusing.

"I don't care what type they are!" The Workman shouted, angrily, "I just want them gone!"

"I'll handle them." Gary said, he kissed one of his Pokéball and threw it to get a Pokémon out.

But what happened was weird; Gary's Pokémon came out and then went back into its Pokéball.

The gang stood there confused.

"The Pokémon went back in." Takato and Mairin said.

✿ ---- ⇒  [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

"What?!" Gary exclaimed.

"Diglett!" A Diglett returned back Gary's Pokéball.

Gary bent down, "Oh thank you. Wait!" He shouted.

Gary tried again with another Pokéball, but the same thing happened. "Argh! I'll try every Pokémon I have!" He threw out every Pokéball he had, all six.

When the other Pokémon trainers tried to call out their Pokémon, the same result happened, all Pokémon refuse to come out.

"Diglett!"

What was stranger was that the Diglett's would give the Pokéballs back their owners.

"Diglett!"

"Oh, thank you." All trainers thanked the Diglett for returning back their Pokéball.

"Well this is very interesting." Yuna said, amused.

"Aw~ There so nice." Mairin squealed.

"Yeah." Brock and Takato nodded.

"And unstoppable." Alain added, amused.

"Totally." Yuna said.

The Workman looked at the gang and notice that three Pokémon were already out of their Pokéball. "Hey you five! Why aren't you all doing anything?!" He shouted.

Every trainer turned to the gang.

Yuna raised an eyebrow, "I'm not attacking them and our Pokémon refuse to attack them." She stated, bluntly.

The gang nodded, "There is nothing we can do about it." They all said simultaneously.

"SOMEBODY JUST GET RID OF THEM ALREADY!"

After five more tries, Gary gave up and left in his red convertible car, along with his cheerleaders and the other trainers decided to leave as well, seeing their Pokémon refuse to come out.

The Workman got so angry, he pulled out a sledgehammer, "Youuuu DIGLETT!" He shouted and tried to whack the Diglett with the sledgehammer, but the Diglett easily dodge it.

The gang sweat dropped as they watch the Workerman trying to whack the Diglett.

When morning broke the gang decide to relax in the hot spring baths, at a Hoy Spring Inn.

"Ah~ This feels nice." Mairin said.

Alain thought, "Hey, don't you think its strange for those Diglett is destroy the construction site?" He asked.

Yuna perked up at that, "Now that you mention it, it is." She nodded.

"Do you think the Diglett has a reason for doing all this?" Brock asked.

Alain nodded, "Yes, remember the incident with the Tentacool and Tentacruel."

The gang nodded.

"Oh!" Takato realise.

"That's makes more sense, Pokémon don't attack if they feel their home is being threatened." Brock nodded.

"Diglett!" A Diglett popped up in front of Light and spoke to her. "Diglett Diglett Dig. (We live here, it's our home.)" It said.

"Pikachu Pika Pikapi. (The Diglett lives here and that dam is being built in their home.)" Light spoke up.

Diglett nodded, "Diglett! (That's right)" It smiled.

"Ah." Yuna translated to the gang.

"So it is the same with the Tentacool and Tentacruel incident." Alain said.

"Diglett!" More Diglett popped out and started to move, the gang immediately got out and changed quickly, they ran after the mole Pokémon.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

The gang ran pass the Workerman, who is still trying to whack the Diglett with his sledgehammer.

It was a funny sight but they didn't have time to stop.

The gang continued to follow the Diglett, to a mountain range and saw a lot of Diglett and a set of its evolved form.

"Trio!" It said.

"Those are Dugtrio." Brock said.

Yuna pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

[Dugtrio, the Mole Pokémon. The evolved form of Diglett. It three heads move alternately, driving it through tough soil depths of over 60 miles.]

"Wow, this place is beautiful." Mairin awe at the view.

"Diglett Diglett Diglett..."

"Trio Trio Trio..."

"This mountain is Diglett and Dugtrio home." Brock said. "They work and live here together. While Dugtrio ploughs the ground and Diglett plants the tree.

"This whole mountain range is their backyard."

"... Diglett Diglett Diglett ..."

"Trio Trio Trio ..."

The Workerman saw the mountain range as well and realised his mistake, "If my men and I build the dam, we would not only destroy the mountain range, but also the home of lots of Pokémon. I'm going to cancel this project and leave the mountains and forests alone." He said and then walked off, going to talk to the other workers.

The gang smiled at each other, "Alright." They nodded, they are delighted that the project is going to be canceled.

"AHAHAHAHAHAH!" Laughter was heard in the distance.

It was Team Rocket with their usual said motto... Apparently they wanted to capture all the Diglett and Dugtrio.

"You three again!" Takato shouted.

"Why can't you leave us alone." Mairin said.

Jessie and James smirked, "Ha! Our Pokémon is different!" They said and sent out their Pokémon, but instead of Ekans and Koffing, they sent their evolved form; Arbok and Weezing.

Yuna scanned the newly Team Rocket evolved Pokémon.

[Arbok, the Cobra Pokémon. The evolved form of Ekans. Transfixing prey with the face-like pattern on its belly, it binds and poisons the frightening victim.]

[Weezing, the Poison Gas Pokémon. The evolved form of Koffing. Inhaling toxic fumes from trash and mixing them inside its body let's it spread an even fouler stench.]

"No way, Team Rocket Pokémon evolved!" Takato and Mairin exclaimed, surprised.

Jessie smirked, "That's right. Arbok Poison Sting!" She commanded.

"Weezing, Sludge Attack!" James commanded.

"Syaoran, use Stone Edge against the Poison Sting!" Yuna called out her puppy Pokémon.

"Rockruff!" He barked, with Everstone around his neck and fired grey stones against the needles, deflecting them.

"Gible, use Stone Edge against the Sludge Attack." Alain called out his land shark Pokémon.

"Gib Gible!" Gible launched grey stones at the sludge attack, blocking them.

Both Stone Edge from the Pokémon, continued and hit both Poison-type Pokémon directly.

Jessie gritted her teeth, "Arbok bite that puppy with Crunch!" She commanded.

Arbok launched itself at Syaoran with its teeth ready to bite.

"Dodge with Quick Attack." Syaoran vanish from his spot, marking the cobra Pokémon attack miss, "Great now Rock Throw." The puppy Pokémon, used Rock Throw, tossing the rock towards Arbok.

Arbok saw the rock and shouted, it was hit.

"Weezing use Poison Gas!" James shouted.

Weezing blew out poisonous gas from its mouth towards Gible.

"Use Dig." Gible drove into the ground, avoiding the gas, "Use Rock Smash!" He appeared from the ground behind Weezing and hit it hard with a Rock Smash.

"GIBLE!" He said and started to glow, he grew taller and his body changed. "Gabite!" He said.

Alain scanned his newly evolved Pokémon.

[Gabite, the Cave Pokémon. The evolved form of Gible. Gabite goes wild for precious jewels, first digging them up and then stashing them in its nest.]

"Gabite use Rock Tomb." Gabite summoned up boulders and trapped Koffing and Arbok who was beside Koffing on the ground.

Both Poison-type cried out in pain as the attack landed.

"Arbok Dig now!" Jessie ordered.

"Weezing follow it." James ordered.

Arbok drove into the ground making a hole and Weezing follow the cobra Pokémon.

...

"... ? ..." Syaoran blinked and look into the hole.

"Nothing..." Yuna said.

"... ... ... Diglett Diglett Diglett."

"Trio Trio Trio."

Was heard by everyone.

Syaoran frowned and listened.

"Diglett Diglett Diglett!"

"Trio Trio Trio!"

"Diglett Diglett Diglett!"

"Trio Trio Trio." James and Jessie said happily.

BANG! SMASH! POW! Was heard and out came Arbok and Weezing, but they were all bruised and beaten up.

Syaoran barked.

"Gabite? (What?)" He said.

"How?" Mairin blinked.

"Must be..." Brock nodded.

James and Jessie gasped at their Pokémon.

"... Arbok..." Jessie said with a horror.

"My poor Weezing..." James said in horror as well

Next Diglett and Dugtrio appeared out of the ground.

"Diglett!"

"Trio!"

"Let's go! Syaoran use Hidden Power." Yuna orders.

"Gabite use Dragon Rage." Alain orders.

Syaoran and Gabite fired Hidden Power and Dragon Rage, the Diglett and Dugtrio helped out by using their own attacks; Hyper Beam and Sludge Bomb all at Team Rocket.

"OH NO!" Meowth shouted in horror as the attack hit them.

BOOM! BLAST!

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Team Rocket shouted.

"Alright!" The gang and Pokémon all cheered.

When Morning came, it was time to departure to Fuchsia City.

Brock looked at the construction plan and saw a bold large sticker, 'CANCEL!' in place. "That's good."

Alain looked at Brock amused.

"What?"

"You got a little friend following." Alain stated simply, pointing behind Brock.

"Huh?" Brock turned around and saw Diglett. "What wrong Diglett?"

Diglett looked at Brock and smiled, "Diglett Diglett! (I wanna go with you!)" He said.

Yuna smiled, "Diglett wants to go with you Brock." She translated.

Brock looked surprised, he took out a Pokéball and nodded, he tapped Diglett and he was caught.

And so after saving the Diglett and Dugtrio home from a construction dam and Brock caught a new Pokémon. They now head their way to Fuchsia City for Yuna's next badge.
