Last time our heroes were bound for Cianwood City, to battle the local Gym Leader. Travelling with them is their new friend Janina looking to pick up some medicine for an ill Ampharos in Olivine City.

"Thank you for waiting." The old man said, who is the owner of the Cianwood City Pharmacy and he handed over a red bottle with a lightning bolt on it, "Here is the medicine you ordered."

Janina took the medicine, "Thank you very much sir." She have the old man a smile.

"That's a relief." Mairin said.

"Yeah." Takato said.

"Now you need to take the medicine back to Jasmine and Myron." Brock told Janina.

Janina nodded, "Yeah."

"But, the ferry, what time does the next one arrive to Olivine City?" Yuna asked.

Janina thought for a moment, she doesn't know when.

"If you leave now you can catch the express ferry. That goes straight to Olivine City, it would have you there before nightfall." The Pharmacy Old man told Janina.

"That's great." Janina smiled. "Thank you sir."

"Safe trip." Alain said.

"See you next time." Mairin said.

"Say hello to Jasmine and Myron for us." Takato said.

"We'll head back to Olivine City after I earn the Storm badge." Yuna said. "And hope that Akari feels well soon."

"Pikachu." Light said.

"Yeah and good luck." Janina told Yuna.

"You too Janina." Yuna said.

"Pika." Light smiled.

The gang watched as Janina was on the ferry, heading back to Olivine City.

Brock just remember something that is here in Cianwood City, "Hey guys, before we head to Cianwood Gym there is something I would like to do first." He spoke up.

"What is it Brock?" Yuna asked, curiously.

"Well, I found out earlier that you can find a Pokémon called Shuckle here in Cianwood City." Brock answered.

"Shuckle?" Mairin and Takato blinked.

Alain understood, "You want to catch a Shuckle to help you with making medicine and their natural juice?" He questioned.

Brock smiled, "Yes. The juices from Shuckle are very good for Pokémon and medicine too. So I want to catch one for myself." He explained.

Yuna nodded, agreeing, "Thats a great Pokémon to have, it would help with your dream." She commented.

"Definitely." Brock nodded.

"Okay, it's time search," Mairin raised an hand in the air.

"For some Shuckle!" Takato pumped his fist in the air.

"Pika!" Light cheered.

Brock looked into his notebook, he has written down and made notes, that has Pokémon that could help him, "Shuckle can be found in the Northern Beach area." He told them.

The gang headed towards the location of the Northern Beach.

When the gang arrived they saw tons of rocks about.

"... How?" Takato asked, simply.

"Shuckle are Rock and Bug-type Pokémon and they normally live under rocks." Brock answered.

Yuna Aura casually spread all around the beach and soon or quickly it found some Pokémon underneath some rubble of rocks. "Huh?" She blinked. "I found something..."

"What is it?" Alain asked.

"Don't know, but it has to be Shuckle." Yuna pointed towards a pile of crashed rocks, looks like a battle had happened.

The gang went towards the rubble of rocks and began to move the rocks one by one carefully, to the side.

As the gang continues to more the rocks, they saw six red shell and one blue shell, all the turtle-like Pokémon has injures on them; scrapes and bruises.

"Pikapi Pikachu!" Light gasped.

"These are Shuckles alright." Alain said, he looked at the injures, "Seem like they been in a battle."

Brock grimaced, "We need to take them to the Pokémon Centre." He said.

Yuna picked up one, Alain picked up two, Brock picked up two, Mairin picked up one and Takato picked up the last one.

The gang raced to the Cianwood City Pokémon Centre.

When the gang arrived, Nurse Joy was shocked and Chansey immediately had a stretcher ready, the gang place all the Shuckles on the stretcher.

"Oh dear..." Nurse Joy said, as she began to bandage one of them up.

"Chansey..." Chansey helped and bandage the others up too.

"Nurse Joy." Yuna called out.

"Yes." Nurse Joy looked at the people who brought in the injured Shuckles.

"Do you know what might have happened to the Shuckles? Their injures looked like they have been in a battle." Yuna commented.

Nurse Joy sighs, as she finished the seventh and last Shuckle, "I guess your right. They must have a fight with the wild Krabby that lives in the same area where the Shuckle lives." She responses.

"Territory fighting?" Alain questioned.

"Pi?" Light blinked.

Nurse Joy nodded, "Yes, your correct. The Shuckle and Krabby always fight over territory." She replied.

"Ouch, Shuckle are part Rock-type and Krabby are Water-type." Mairin said.

"Yeah, it's not wonder the Shuckles are beaten badly." Takato added.

"What I found interesting that one of the Shuckle is a Shiny Pokémon." Alain spoke up, looking at the blue coloured shell.

Yuna took out her Pokédex and scanned the group of Shuckle on the stretcher.

[Shuckle, the Mold Pokémon. When Shuckle places organic materials in its husk-like shell, the items are transformed into a unique juice. Shuckle are naturally shy and are most often found beneath rocks.

Note: One of the Shuckle colour, indicates it's a Shiny.]

[A/N: I have no idea why they change it from purple to blue.]

"How cool." Takato awed.

"Guess we were focusing on taking them to the Pokémon Centre that we never realise the colour." Brock said.

"How amazing, in all my years of having seen so many Shuckle around here, this is the first time seeing a Shiny Shuckle." Nurse Joy said, with joy.

And soon, in no time all the seven Shuckle were all healed from their battle injuries.

"Schuckle!" All the Shuckle smiled at the humans who helped them.

Brock checked on them one more time to make sure and he found nothing, "I'm glad that you all are okay." He smiled.

"Shuckle Shuckle!" All seven Shuckle gave a eye smile at them.

"Shuckle." The Shiny Shuckle shook its shell at Brock, "Shuckle..."

"Huh?" Brock raised an eyebrow, confused.

"I think that Shuckle here wants to share its juice with you Brock. Shuckle always like to share their juice with those that have been kind to them and to those they wish to be friends with." Nurse Joy explained.

"Oh." Brock smiled and accepted the Shiny Shuckle berry juice, he took a sip, "Wow, this is delicious."

Yuna, Alain, Mairin and Takato tried some.

"This is a great juice." Yuna said. "It's no wonder they are famous for making juice out of berries and other things."

Alain hummed.

"Delicious!" Mairin squealed.

Takato finished it, "Yum! I would like some more, please?" He asked, the Shiny Shuckle.

Shiny Shuckle nodded and gave the little boy some more.

"Thanks." Takato grinned and drank it.

Mairin pouted, she wanted some more too.

The youngest Ketchum rolled his eyes and handed the youngest Sycamore the cup.

Mairin beamed and took the cup, she drank to reminding juice.

Brock chuckled and then looked at the Shiny Shuckle, "Shuckle, I want to capture you." He said.

"Shuckle?" Shiny Shuckle blinked.

"You see my dream is to become a Pokémon Doctor in the future and you will be perfect on my team." Brock said, "So will you let me capture you?"

"... Shuckle..." Shiny Shuckle stared at Brock for a few seconds, "Shuckle Shuckle."

"Translation." Mairin said.

"Shuckle said that he will accept Brock's request but on two conditions." Yuna translated.

"Two conditions? What is it?" Brock asked.

"Shuckle Shuckle Shuckle." The Shiny Shuckle moved his head about.

Yuna nodded, "The first condition is that he wants a battle and the second condition is that you have to capture the other six Shuckles too, because they are his siblings and he doesn't want to be separated from them." She explained.

The Shiny Shuckle nodded, "Shuckle."

Brock smiled, "I accept your conditions Shuckle." He said.

The gang and the seven Shuckle made their way outside the Pokémon Centre and onto the beach.

"Shuckle!" The Shiny Shuckle said, with a determined face.

"Go Graveler." Brock sent out the rock Pokémon to battle.

"Graveler!" The rock Pokémon said, appearing, ready to battle.

"Graveler use Rock Throw." Brock ordered.

"Graveler!" Graveler released something rocks from his body and sent them towards the mold Pokémon.

"Shuckle!" The Shiny Shuckle withdraws into his shell, protecting him from the Rock Throw attack.

"He used Withdraw." Yuna said.

"Try a Rollout." Graveler curled himself into a ball and started to roll very fast towards the Shiny Shuckle.

"Shuckle!" Shiny Shuckle withdraw again and his body glowed metallic and he spun, charging towards the rock Pokémon.

"That's Gyro Ball." Alain said.

Both Graveler and Shiny Shuckle collided against each other, they continued to pass against each other.

"... Woah..." Takato and Mairin said, watching the collision.

"Go Graveler!" Brock encourages.

"Graveler!" Graveler used more power and he overpowered the shiny mold Pokémon.

"Shuckle!" The Shiny Shuckle cries out as he was sent flying.

"Now my chance." Brock took out a spare Pokéball and tossed it towards the Shiny Shuckle.

"... S-Shuckle..." The Shiny Shuckle was sucked into the Pokéball and he was caught.

Brock caught the Pokéball and smiled at it, "Next is..." He took out six more Pokéball from his backpack, "Okay Shuckles." He looked at the reminding six.

"Shuckle!" All six Shuckle nodded and was caught, teleported to the Pewter Gym.

Brock smiled, "I finally have my own Shuckle."

"Congratulations Brock." Yuna, Mairin and Takato said.

"Hm." Alain said.

"Thanks everyone. But now I need to call the Pewter Gym about the six Shuckles." Brock said, as he headed back into the Pokémon Centre.

Yuna, Alain, Takato and Mairin all waited outside for Brock to finish his video call to Petwer Gym.

Brock came out of the Pokémon Centre with a smile on his face, "It's done. I explained to the six Shuckle that my family will be taking care of them." He said.

"That's good." Alain said.

"Now to Cianwood Gym." Yuna said.

"Yeah!" Takato and Mairin agreed.

"Pika!" Light cheered.

And with Brock capturing seven Shuckle, including a Shiny, our heroes now head to Cianwood Gym for Yuna to earn her fifth badge.
