A bright good morning sun shines on our heroes and their Pokémon friends, who spent a peaceful night camp besides a sparkly lake. Getting ready for some breakfast and another new day.

Takato and Mairin were washing their faces at the lake, "Were ready for some breakfast." They said, grinning.

"We all are." Yuna smiled, setting up the table with Alain.

Brock was in front of the pot, he just finished making some oatmeal.

Alain notice that Brock is really quiet and not moving, he walked over to the Breeder, "Is something the matter Brock." He said.

"..." Brock suddenly fell over onto the grass.

"Brock!" Yuna said, as she ran over.

"Pikachu!" Light said.

Mairin and Takato ran towards them.

Yuna place a hand on Brock's forehead, she feels the temperature, "He's burning up with a fever." She told them, "We better get him to the cabin bed."

Alain and Yuna both help Brock towards the cabin, Takato and Mairin ran ahead to open the door and get the bed ready.

Alain place Brock onto the bed and Mairin place a blanket over the sick Breeder.

Yuna came back with a basin of cold water and a cloth, she soaked the cloth with cold water and squeezed the water out and place the damp cloth onto Brock's forehead.

"What's wrong with Brock?" Mairin asked.

"Brock's fine, mostly he just collapsed from exhaustion. People who over work themselves to the point their body shut downs." Alain explained.

"Professor Oak collapses from exhaustion before." Yuna said.

"Same with Grandpa." Alain added. "And all Brock need is a good rest for the whole day, not doing any work."

"Okay." Mairin said.

Brock began to stir in bed, he weakly got up. "Can't rest... Got too much work to do." He told them. "Breakfast... Lunch... And... Laun-" He collapses back onto the bed, "Dry..."

"Brock!" Mairin said.

"Rest Brock." Takato said.

"I... C-can't..." Brock refuse.

Yuna twitched at her friend stubbornness, she turned to the door and saw their Pokémon at the door and window of the cabin, all of Brock's Pokémon looked really worried for their trainer.

"Brock, your sick and you need to rest." Alain told the Breeder.

"Take it easy would ya." Takato said.

"Your right... I could use some rest." Brock gave in, "The notebooks are in backpack and it will tell you what chores need to be done today." He fell asleep.

Light went to get the notebook from Brock's backpack, "Pikapi. (I got it.)" She said.

Yuna, Alain, Takato and Mairin left Brock to rest up in the cabin.

All of Brock's Pokémon looked worried; Chansey, Onix, Graveler, Golbat, Pinceo and Stantler.

"Brock is sick because he overworked himself. Just needs a long good rest and he'll be good as new." Yuna told the Pokémon.

"Chansey? (Can I go and look after Brock?)" Chansey asked.

"Sure thing Chansey, having you look after Brock is much reassuring so he doesn't move around." Yuna told the egg Pokémon.

Chansey smiled, "Chansey."

Yuna took Chansey to Brock with Golbat and Pinceo following behind, "Chansey, if Brock ever wakes up use Sing to put him back to sleep, knowing Brock he'll be worried and wakes up." She said.

Chansey nodded, "Chansey. (Leave it to me.)" She said.

"I'll be back to give him some porridge." Yuna told them, before she left the cabin once again, leaving Brock with his three Pokémon to look after the sick Breeder.

"We have our own chores to do as well." Alain said, after he finished looking through Brock's notebook.

"Let's start!" Mairin and Takato said.

"Roarr." Brock's Onix said.

"Graveler..." Brock's Graveler said.

"Right. It's today." Alain said, remembering the chores, "I'll polish Onix and Graveler." He is used to doing this from the lab, helping his grandpa.

"We'll help." Takato and Mairin said.

"Okay and I'll get started on the porridge for Brock and then wash the dishes." Yuna said, as she walked towards the lake with a large bucket in her arms.

Alain showed Mairin and Takato how to polish the Rock-type Pokémon.

Brock liked to polished his Rock-type, it makes them look amazing and smart.

Yuna easy cook up some porridge from her mother's recipe and when it was finished she gave it to Asuka, who flew to the cabin window that is opened and gave it to Chansey, who gave it to Brock to eat when he was awake to some breakfast.

Brock missed out, due to the fever he was having.

And then Yuna had Alois and Kingdra to give a helping with their Water Gun, she also had dishwashing liquid from the tent and started to wash the dishes. Asuka is using Psychic to help dry the dishes, removing the water drops from them.

Meanwhile in the cabin, Brock fell back to sleep after eating some porridge, with Chansey, Golbat and Pinceo watching over him.

In Brock's dream; he was dreaming, he was in a beautiful flower field with Bellossom dancing and cherry blossom petals falling around him.

"Beautiful." Dream Brock smiled. "What can be nicer than a field of flowers?"

Suddenly the sky became dark and Dream Brock looked up and saw a meteorite heading towards him.

"Ah! It's a meteorite and it's heading this way! Gyah!" The Meteorite hits Brock sending him into a dark empty hole, falling. "Ahhhhhh..."

"Ah!" Brock woke up from his dream and looked around, he saw Chansey, Pinceo and Golbat, they were with him and he was graceful. "Thanks."

"Chansey?" Chansey looked at her trainer in questioned.

"Golbat." The bat Pokémon said.

"Pinceo Pin." The bagworm Pokémon said.

Brock heard Mairin and Takato arguing about something and he was worried, "... .... ... Maybe I should go and take a look." He said, slowly getting up.

"Chansey! (Oh no!) Chansey~ Chansey~ Chansey~~" The egg Pokémon used Sing to but her trainer back to sleep.

"... Wha? Chansey... ZZZzzzzz..." Brock fell back asleep.

Chansey nodded, she was satisfied, "Chansey." She looked to the side and saw Golbat and Pinceo asleep as well, a tick appeared on her head, "Chansey! Chan-sey! Chan-sey! Chan-sey Chan-sey!" She woke them both up by using Wake-Up Slap.

"Gol-Gol-Golbat!" The bat Pokémon woke up.

"... Pinceo Pinceo..." The bagworm Pokémon woke up as well.

Chansey looked at them, "Chansey!" She said.

Both Pokémon nodded, giving a sheepish expression with red marks on their faces.

At that time, Yuna, Alain, Mairin and Takato had finished the first line of chores in Brock's notebook and next is; getting firewood, chopping them up and doing laundry.

"I'll do the firewoods." Alain said, as he flex his fingers.

"I'm doing the laundry, good thing that we have a washing machine with the tent." Yuna said, she is used to this and headed towards the tent were the laundry room is.

"We'll go to the forest to see if their are fruits." Takato and Mairin said.

"Okay." Alain looked at Takato and Mairin Pokémon's, "Take one or two of your Pokémon with you at least. I don't really trust them to not get into trouble." He muttered at the last part, the two kids are trouble magnets.

Gou stood up, as Mairin came towards him and allowed her to sit on his back. He allowed Chespie to continue sleeping.

"Loppuny." Usagi followed.

"Meoww." Liepard followed, as she allowed Takato to climb onto her back, she can handle heavy things now, even if she is mostly for agility and her size is quite larger than her normal species.

[A/N: Some of Pokémon sizes will be slightly larger than their normal size, why... Because I want to.]

"Toge!" Togedemaru hopped into Takato's arms, happily.

Zack continues to sleep.

Both kids headed into the forest with Gou, Usagi, Togedemaru and Liepard, going with them.

As the youngest Sycamore and Ketchum were in the forest, looking left and right at the trees.

"This is weird." Mairin frowned.

"You mean like the apple trees have no what-so-ever apples on them. Then yes." Takato deadpanned.

"Meoww." Liepard eyes eyed the wind.

"What that?" Mairin asked.

"Don't know but let's go and see." Takato answered.

Gou and Liepard ran towards the source of the sound.

Unknown to kids that Team Rocket were here as well and they are the ones who taking all the apples with a machine that sucking all the apples, like a vacuum.

"Aha, apple picking time." James said, proudly of the machine.

"Yeah." Jessie said, cheerfully as she switched the container that is filled with apples for a empty container. "This can last us for months."

"This is great." Meowth said, gleefully, as he stacked up the containers filled with apples.

"Team Rocket!" Two familiar voices demanded.

Team Rocket turned towards the voice and gasped in shocked, "Gyah! What are you two doing here?!" They shouted.

Takato and Mairin glared at them and notice the containers filled with apples, it's no wonder they couldn't find any apples. "It's you!" They pointed, as they got off their Pokémon.

"Your the ones who taking all the apples." Mairin said.

James showed the machine, he was carrying, "Thats right. Our Power Picker is the best!" He said, smugly.

"Can you spare some apples?" Mairin asked.

"No." Meowth rejected.

Mairin glared, "There are no more apples because you three took them all." She commented.

Jessie and James laughs, "Hahaha, nothing we can do!" They taunted.

Takato and Mairin glared at Team Rocket, "Thats just mean!"

Liepard hissed at them, she stood protectively in front of Takato.

Gou and Usagi stood in front of Mairin.

"A fight huh?" Jessie said, holding out a Pokéball, "Its going to be easy! Go, Arbok!" She sent out the cobra Pokémon.

"Carrbokk!" Arbok hissed.

"Go, Victreebel!" James sent out the flycatcher Pokémon.

"Victreee!" Victreebel appeared.

"Meowth, I'll join!" The scratch cat Pokémon said.

"Arbok use Poison Sting!" Jessie commanded.

"Victreebel use Razor Leaf!" James commanded.

"Liepard." Takato said.

"Meowww!" Liepard hissed and she crouched down, she used Agility, dodging the Poison Sting and she slash the cobra Pokémon with a Night Slash attack, hard.

"Carrbokk!" Arbok cries out in pain, as the attack from the cruel Pokémon hits it hard.

"Us too. Usagi, use Fire Punch!" Mairin said.

Usagi dashes towards the flycatcher Pokémon, she jumped to avoid the Razor Leaf and in the air, she drove down with her ears glowing red with flames around it and she punched Victreebel, directly.

[A/N: I'm not exactly sure how Lopunny attacks. With their arms or ear?]

"Victreeeeee!" The flycatcher Pokémon cried out in pain, from the super effective attack.

"My turn!" Meowth said, as he dashed towards them with his tail glowing metallic colour, "Take this!"

"Togedemaru, Wild Charge!" Takato said.

"Togedemaru!" The roly-poly Pokémon body is covered in electricity and he slammed into the stomach of the scratch cat Pokémon, sending him flying back into Team Rocket.

"Meouch..." Meowth winced as he struggled to moved.

"Meowth move!" Jessie shouted out, as she struggles to moves.

"Quick use Electroweb!" Togedemaru tail glowed, a yellow orb appeared on the end of the tail and he spun, throwing the orb, which changed into a web and it enlarged, trapping Team Rocket.

"Ahhhhh!" Team Rocket shouted out, as they are shocked and trapped.

"Let's end this!" Takato and Mairin both said.

"Liepard,"

"Gou,"

"Dark Storm!"

Gou summoned a fury of tornado leaves towards and Liepard fires a dark purplish circles from her mouth towards the tornado of leaves.

The Leaf Storm and Dark Pulse combined together, the leaves turned into a black, purplish circles and the dark leaves tornado spun towards Team Rocket.

"Oh no..." James paled as the combined attacks closed in.

"This is going to hurt..." Jessie sweated.

"Owwww..." Meowth said.

"..." All Team Rocket Pokémon's were knocked out with swirling eyes.

BOOM! BLAST! The Dark Storm hits Team Rocket, sending them flying into the air.

"Well... Our apples are free for the taking..." James commented, casually.

Jessie was fuming, "Can't believe we underestimated those brats!" She shouted out.

"Yeah. But we forgot that they are the younger siblings of the older twerps." Meowth pointed out.

Team Rocket sighed, in defeat and opens their mouth, "LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" They shouted out.

"Alright!" Takato and Mairin high fives each other, "We did it!"

"Togedemaru. (Look at all the apples.)" The roly-poly Pokémon stared at the apples in the containers.

"Easy picking." Mairin smiled, smugly.

"More like easy taking." Takato grinned.

"Let's take them back and we can store some." Mairin said.

Takato nodded.

"Lopunny." Usagi lifted up the wooden wheelbarrow and she began to push it, back to the cabin area.

When Takato and Mairin returned, Alain just finished chopping up the woods and Yuna just finished hanging all the clothes.

"We're back!" Takato and Mairin announces themselves.

Yuna looked up and saw Usagi pushing a wheelbarrow, "Erm, what's up with the wheelbarrow?" She asked, she knew that they didn't take a wheelbarrow with them because they didn't have any to begin with.

"That's a lot. How did you get so many in a short amount of time?" Alain asked.

"Well..." Takato started.

And the two kids told them about Team Rocket being here and taking all the apples with a machine of theirs, they battled Team Rocket and won.

"I see. Well, I'm glad that your not hurt." Yuna smiled.

"Congrats, on beating Team Rocket." Alain said.

"Thanks." Mairin grinned, happily.

Yuna took some of the apples and washed them, she peeled two apples and cut them for Brock.

While the rest of the washed apples went to the Pokémon, who all enjoyed the red juicy apples.

In the meantime, Brock had drifted off into another dream.

This time Brock was dreaming that he was standing on clouds in the sky with Butterfree's.

"Beautiful..." Brock smiled, "What can be nicer than a beautiful sky?" He began to walk, when suddenly he, fell through the clouds, "AHHHHH! I'm falling!" He screamed out as he continues to fall into a dark hole.

"Gyah!" Brock woke up from dream and he realised that he just fell out of bed.

"Chansey..." The egg Pokémon looked at her trainer with a worried, expression.

Yuna, Alain, Takato and Mairin has just entered the cabin, when they heard Brock scream.

"Hey Brock, are you okay?" Yuna asked.

"Yeah, just a bad dream." Brock answered, as he was place back into the bed.

Mairin handed Brock a plate of sliced up apples and Takato handed three apples to Chansey, Pinceo and Golbat who thanked him for them.

Brock took a bite out a slice, he was getting hungry, "This is delicious..." He munched on the apples.

Yuna place a hand on Brock's forehead, "Hmmm, it seems like your getting better Brock, your temperature is down." She said, "But just to be safe, you still need to rest."

Brock nodded, as he finished all the slice of apples, "Thanks everyone." He was glad to have great friends like them.

"No problem Brock." Alain said.

"I'll give you medicine and make another batch of porridge for dinner." Yuna said.

"Okay..." Brock dozed off to sleep.

Yuna, Alain, Takato and Mairin left the cabin, leaving Chansey, Golbat and Pinceo with Brock.

The sun was setting and it was time for dinner.

Yuna got all the ingredients out and started to prep them for dinner.

Alain, Takato and Mairin sorted out the Pokémon food.

Soon the food was ready to eat, Yuna just finished placing the last plate.

"Okay. Dinner is ready!" Yuna smiled, proudly at her work.

Alain, Mairin and Takato all sat down at the table, while Yuna handed a tray of food that contains Brock's food and medicine, it was delivered by Asuka, again.

"Rai." Asuka returns from her delivery and she went to join the other Pokémon's.

Takato and Mairin were drooling at the smell of the food on the table, while Alain eyes showed that he was eager to eat.

Yuna sat down beside Alain, "Hope you enjoy it." She said.

"Thanks for the food!" Takato and Mairin said, excitedly.

"Yum!" Takato took another bit of the meatball.

"Yeah." Mairin nodded.

Yuna and Alain roll their eyes, fondly at their younger siblings.

All the Pokémon were talking happily among each other, as they eat their food.

After finishing dinner, they washed up the dishes and cleaned up the table, it was time for bed.

Brock remind in the cabin bed, while the rest slept in the tent and some of the Pokémon slept outside.

The next morning, the sun shined out and Yuna, Alain, Takato, Mairin and their Pokémon woke up to see Brock making some delicious stew for breakfast.

"Chansey Chan." The egg Pokémon smiled.

"What? Erm, Brock..." Yuna said, as she yawned slightly.

"How are you feeling?" Mairin asked.

Brock gave them a smile, "I feel much better, especially with all the sleep yesterday." He responded, "Thank you."

"That's good." Takato said.

"I'm really need to head back to the chores." Brock said.

"Pika." Light blinked, as she stopped eating.

Yuna choked on her food, "Wha?" She said, coughing.

Alain helped her calm down and handed her some water, which Yuna gulped down.

"No way!" Mairin protested, shaking her head, negatively.

Takato nodded, "Yeah Brock, take it easy would ya." He said.

"You should take a bit more rest today, just in case you collapse from exhaustion again." Alain told the Breeder.

"Pikapi." Light agreed.

Yuna nodded as well, "We'll take care of your chores again Brock." She said.

"..." Brock nodded, "After breakfast, I'll take a nap." He told them.

Yuna, Alain, Mairin and Takato sighs in relief.

With's Brock's recover nearly complete and our friends will soon take to the road once more, as they head to Olivine City, where Yuna will earn her next badge.
