The sun is shining, after helping and saving Greenfield, our heroes are about to be overshadowed by something... spooky.

"Hm?" Yuna blinked as she notice a sign up head.

"What's this?" Brock asked.

Alain looked at the sign.

BEWARE OF GHOST POKÉMON.
USE A PSYCHIC-TYPE FOR YOUR PROTECTION!

The sign said.

"So this forest must be Ghost Pokémon territory." Brock thought out.

"Looks like it." Alain said.

"Good thing I have Girafarig with me." Yuna sent out her long neck Pokémon.

"Brin!" Girafarig appeared and licked her trainers face.

Yuna giggles and pets Girafarig on her head, "Good to see you too Girafarig. Listen, there are Ghost-type Pokémon in this forest and we need your help to fight them off, okay?" She questioned.

Girafarig nodded, understanding.

Mairin sighs in relief, "Thats great." She shivered.

RUSTLE RUSTLE

Mairin yelped, "What was that?" She asked, worriedly.

Alain headed towards the rustle sound from the bush, to see, when suddenly a brown head shot up from bushes.

The gang were surprised by that.

"Woah!" Takato said.

Alain looked closely at it, "Thats the tail of a Girafarig." He said.

"That's correct." A young female voice spoke up, stepping out from the bush.

"Who are you?" Mairin asked.

"My name is Cherry Kanai and that Girafarig in the bush is mine." The girl introduces herself.

[A/N: Kanai is Cherry's Japanese voice actor surname; Kanai Mika.]

"Brin Brin." Cherry's Girafarig came out from the bush.

The gang introduce themselves to Cherry Kanai.

Yuna's Girafarig mewed towards her kind, who mewed back.

Cherry smiled, "I like your Girafarig Yuna." She complimented.

Yuna smiled back, "Thank you Cherry."

"Bri." Yuna's Girafarig smiled.

"Do you have any other Psychic-type Pokémon?" Cherry asked, curiously.

"Yes. I have an Espeon, Gallade, Gardevoir, Gothitelle and a Delphox." Yuna replied, leaving Yuffie out.

Cherry eyes shined, "Wow, I wish to have an Espeon as well, in the future. I also wish to have other Psychic-type Pokémon from other regions too." She commented.

"You really like Psychic-type Cherry." Takato spoke up.

"Yes." Cherry nodded, "Acutally everyone in Len Town, where I live loves Psychic-type Pokémon." She confessed.

Brock looked up Len Town in his map book, "Ah, it's says here that in Len Town, everyone keeps a Psychic-type Pokémon." He reads.

"Ehhh." Mairin said.

"That's right. It's also a tradition for everyone in Len Town to have a Psychic-type Pokémon. Ghost Pokémon who have lived in these woods for over hundred of years. So we raise Psychic Pokémon, so that the ghost Pokémon wouldn't cause any trouble." Cherry explains, the reason of Psychic-type Pokémon.

Yuna gave a small giggle, her Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Loki and Yuffie, loves to prank. Good thing that Yukimi is keeping her mate down but the kids are starting to pick up the fathers tricks like Betzalel, but luckily Eclipse has her mothers attitude.

Cherry joined the gang for lunch in the woods.

"So what are you guys going to go in Len Town?" Cherry asked.

"I'm entering the Len Town Pokémon Contest." Yuna replied.

"I see. Good luck in the Pokémon Contest Yuna." Cherry told her.

"Thank you."

"Hey Cherry, are you a Pokémon trainer?" Takato asked.

Cherry shook her head, "I'm a trainer, but I'm not traveling on a journey yet. You see my dream is to win the Johto League and become a Psychic Pokémon Master." She said.

"So, you only intend to catch Psychic-type Pokémon only?" Alain questioned.

Cherry nodded, "Thats right. The truth is, that I really love Psychic-type Pokémon and it doesn't come from the Len Town." She commented.

Yuna smiled.

"Why haven't you started to travel yet Cherry?" Brock asked, curiously.

"Well you see, I want to train as much as I can." Cherry replied.

"Train?" Alain said, they way she said it made it sound like a different meaning.

"They say that Psychic Pokémon and their trainer can communicate their thoughts and feelings psychically." Cherry explained.

"So like Sabrina." Takato said.

Cherry looked confused.

"Sabrina Natsume is the Gym Leader of Saffron City in Kanto and shes a Psychic expert. She can communicate her thoughts and feelings to her Pokémon." Yuna explained, seeing the confused look.

Cherry smiled, brightly, "I want to meet her one day." She said. "And maybe she can give some tips."

"I'm sure she'll be glad too." Yuna smiled.

After lunch, they cleaned up and packed up their supplies and equipments.

"I'll show you around Len Town." Cherry said.

The gang agreed and Cherry led them the way to Len Town.

Unknown to the gang and Cherry, Team Rocket has been listening to their conversations.

James grinned, "A town that is filled with Psychic-type Pokémon, sounds marvellous." He commented.

"Your right. If we grab all the Psychic-type Pokémon, they'll be a great help for Team Rocket." Jessie said.

"But how are we going to capture them? I mean Psychic-type Pokémon are tricky and we don't have any Ghost, Bug or Dark-type Pokémon." Meowth questioned.

Jessie smirked, "Not to worry. I have an idea." She said.

At that time, Cherry had brought the gang to Len Town.

The gang saw lots of Psychic-type Pokémon; Abra, Kadabra, Alakazam, Drowzee, Hypno and Mr. Mime. They also saw, some Pokémon that were part Psychic-type; like Exeggcute and Exeggutor, who were a Grass and Psychic-type and a Slowpoke, who were a Water and Psychic-type.

"Wow." Takato awed.

"Yeah." Mairin agreed.

"You certainly weren't kidding when you said that everyone here has a Psychic-type Pokémon." Brock commented.

Cherry giggled, "Thats right and this way Ghost Pokémon won't give us any trouble." She said. "I'll should you the Pokémon Contest Hall, so Yuna can sign in."

The gang continued to follow Cherry till they came to a Contest Hall.

Yuna quickly went inside and to get her name registered, for tomorrow's contest.

"That's done." Yuna smiled, as she exited out of the hall.

"What now?" Takato asked.

"... Lp!"

Light ears twitched, "Pi?"

"... ELP!"

"HELP!" A male voice was heard. "Somebody help!"

"What's going on?" Mairin questioned.

Suddenly the man who was yelling for help, came running through the village, exhausted. "Help! Somebody!"

The gang went up to the man.

"What's going sir?" Cherry asked.

"It's gigantic!" The man exclaimed.

"Huh?" The gang and Cherry all had a confused expression.

"What's gigantic?" Yuna asked.

"A Ghost Pokémon that is vulnerable to Psychic attack!"

"Huh?" The gang and Cherry gasped.

The man took a deep breath, "I was fishing with Mr. Mime, when this giant Gengar appeared and I had my Mr. Mime attack it with Psywave, but that Gengar reflected the attack back at us." He gasped, "And then it used its long tongue to trap Mr. Mime inside itself. So I have now lost my Mr. Mime."

"This doesn't seem right. I mean how could a Gengar become that big?" Brock thought.

"Unless it's a giant Pokémon." Alain pointed out. "But a Ghost-type Pokémon can't use Mirror Coat or Reflect."

"We need to see this Gengar ourselves." Yuna said.

Just then a woman came up, "Help! My Abra was taken by a giant Gengar!" She exclaimed.

"Another one." Cherry gasped.

"We attacked it, but Psychic attacks are useless against that giant Gengar." The woman took a deep breath, "And it's coming this way."

The giant Gengar arrived in the village.

"Look at that!" Brock gawked.

Everyone in Len Town, with their Psychic Pokémon all ran away, to hide from the giant Gengar at once.

The gang and Cherry stayed.

Alain eyes narrowed, "That giant Gengar looks fake. Too fake." He said.

"I see." Yuna focus her senses onto the giant Gengar and felt no life from it, "Alain is right. That Gengar is a fake."

"Huh?" Cherry, Mairin, Takato and Brock gasped at that information.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" Laughter was heard from the giant Gengar and Team Rocket appeared.

"What are you three up to now?" Mairin asked.

"Well, if you must know twerps, we wish to capture every Psychic-type Pokémon in this town." James answered.

Jessie smirked, "That's right, they we'll be a great help to Team Rocket for conquering the world." She announced.

"What!" Cherry was mad when she heard Team Rocket plan.

"Ahahaha! Thanks to our giant Gengar and it's glass mirror eyes, catching the Psychic-type Pokémon is going to be a piece of cake." Meowth stated, proudly.

"I get it. The Psychic Pokémon attacks got bounced off because of the mirrors in the giant Gengar eyes." Brock explained.

"Just great." Mairin groaned.

"Yeah, mirrors do reflect after all." Takato added, annoyed.

"Never mind. We need to stop Team Rocket now." Yuna said.

"Pikachu!" Light jumped off her trainers shoulder, ready.

"Briii!" Yuna's Girafarig nodded, ready.

"We'll help." Cherry said.

Cherry's Girafarig nodded, as it stood beside Yuna's Girafarig.

"Girafarig use Future Sight." Cherry commanded.

"Bri!" Cherry Girafarig eyes glowed blue.

Cherry mind was connected to her Girafarig, "Okay, watch for out for that giant Gengar lick attack." She said. "Dodge it!"

And when Cherry warned them, Team Rocket did released the giant Gengar's tongue, Light and the two Girafarig were able to dodge it easily.

"Nice!" Mairin and Takato cheered.

Meowth gawked.

James gasped, "No way! That twerp actually knew that we were coming with our giant Gengar tongue." He said, flabbergasted.

"Try again!" Jessie exclaimed.

Team Rocket tried their tongue again, but the Pokémon kept on dodging it, again and again.

"But, how?" Brock questioned.

"Hm, I heard about the Future Sight seconded ability but never seen one." Alain spoke up.

"A second ability?"

"Future Sight has a second ability that allows the user and occasionally its trainer to see into the future." Alain explained.

Brock was surprised and flabbergasted to hear that, since he never heard about it before.

"Break that Gengar with an Iron Tail Light." Yuna said.

"Pika!" Light jumped dodging the tongue and she spun, with her tail glowing metallic colour, she slammed an Iron Tail onto the giant Gengar back, breaking container that was holding Abra and Mr. Mime.

"Abra Ab." The psi Pokémon said.

"Mr. Mime Mr. Mime!" The barrier Pokémon said, happy to be free.

Abra immediately use Teleport to teleport itself back to it owner and Mr. Mime immediately ran back to it owner also.

"Oh dear Abra! Your back!" The woman hugged her Pokémon when it appeared in her arms.

"Mr. Mime!" The man hugged his Pokémon.

"Nice work. Light, Girafarig use Thunder." Yuna said.

Light and Girafarig fires Thunder attack, hitting the giant Gengar.

"AHHHHHH!" Team Rocket screamed out in pain, with smoke from their body.

"... ... ...It's time." Cherry said, her voice was echoed.

Yuna stopped her attack.

"Pika!" Light landed on the back of her partner Girafarig.

"Bri!" Yuna's Girafarig said.

Everyone felt the wind.

After time has passes when Cherry's Girafarig had used Future Sight, the wind blows strongly and a sphere of rainbow coloured energy comes out of nowhere and struck the crispy giant Gengar and Team Rocket.

"GAHHH!" Team Rocket screamed out in pain.

BOOM! BLAST! The giant Gengar exploded.

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!!" Team Rocket shouted out as they were flying through the sky into the distance.

Cherry sighs in relief, "Glad that's over." She said.

Yuna smiled, "Congratulations Cherry, on you and your Girafarig."

Cherry blinked twice and she remembered what she felt, "Oh? Oh! It worked, Girafarig and I were connected psychically." She beamed, happily.

"Bri!" Cherry's Girafarig mewed agreeing.

"Good for you." Alain said, "It's the first time I've seen it."

Cherry and her Girafarig smiled at each other and she hugged her long neck Pokémon, "We did."

The gang congratulated Cherry and her Girafarig on their success.

And so after defeating Team Rocket giant Gengar with the help of Cherry and her Girafarig. The gang stayed in Len Town for Yuna's Seconded Pokémon Contest.
