The gang were now walking through a forest, the forest was so thick that it looked dark even though its the middle of the day.

"Pikachu? (Whats that?)" Light pointed up, towards a tree.

"Um, a bird house?" Yuna said, confused.

"For flying Pokémon?" Mairin questioned.

"Could be, but the size of it looks only right for Pidgey and Hoothoot." Alain responses.

Suddenly a brown owl-like Pokémon appeared and landed on the branch in front of the birdhouse.

"Browll~" The Pokémon said.

"It's a Noctowl." Brock said.

Yuna took out her Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

[Noctowl, the Owl Pokémon. The evolved form of Hoothoot. This highly intelligent Pokémon often twists it head 180 degrees when it is thinking. Noctowl is a nocturnal Pokémon.]

"Weird, but then again this forest does look like its night time." Yuna said, placing her Pokédex away.

Suddenly a branch moved, it moved to scare away the Noctowl.

"Erm, did anyone see that branch move?" Takato asked, rubbing his eyes.

"We did." Mairin replied.

"What in the world..." Yuna said, unsure.

Alain saw another Noctowl but it was smaller and the colour was different, "A shiny Noctowl." He said, surprised.

"Brii~" The Shiny Noctowl landed on the branch that the original Noctowl was previously on, "Brii?" It twisted its head.

"I found you at last Noctowl." A male voice spoke up, from behind the bush and he stepped out, holding a Pokéball in his hand, "Now I will catch you. Come on out, Mareep!" He said sent out the wool Pokémon.

"Marrr~" The wool Pokémon appeared, but it was a different colour as well.

"Oh, it's a Shiny Mareep." Yuna said.

"Okay Mareep use Thundershock on Noctowl." The man ordered.

The shiny wool Pokémon sent a shock of electricity towards the shiny owl Pokémon, who dodged it but flying off the branch.

Noctowl stared at Mareep, then its eyes glowed red and then the owl Pokémon eyes released some red circles, which began to expand at the wool Pokémon.

"Oh no, Noctowl just uses Hypnosis." The man said.

Mareep got drowsy and was chonfused, of what it's doing.

Brock thought, "Hypnosis is a very tricky move and Noctowl's Hypnosis has made Mareep confused." He said.

"Eh, but I thought it was putting opponents to sleep?" Mairin questioned, really confused.

"It does, but it can do some other things too. It can make opponents confused or in a trance, you have to be careful." Alain explained.

While the shiny wool Pokémon is in a confused stated, the shiny owl Pokémon flew away.

"Nooo, I failed again!" The man whined, as he recalled back his confused Mareep.

The gang walked up to the man.

"Erm, are you okay sir?" Yuna asked.

"Yes I am. It's just trying to catch that Shiny Noctowl is very tricky." The man sighs, "I'm Dr. Wiseman by the way."

The gang introduced themselves.

"I notice that your Mareep is a Shiny Pokémon." Brock said.

"Oh, you've heard of Shiny Pokémon?" Dr. Wiseman asked the gang.

"Yes. Alain and Yuna has some Shiny Pokémon as well." Brock answered, pointing to the couple.

"Oh you two do. Your lucky." Dr. Wiseman said, "You see I catch Shiny Pokémon."

"Really?!" Takato and Mairin said, surprised.

"Excuse me sir, is it alright," Mairin started.

"If we see your Shiny Pokémon?" Takato ended.

"Please?" Both kids asked.

Dr. Wiseman chuckled, "Of course. Follow me, I'll take you to my cabin." He said.

Dr. Wiseman led the gang to his cabin in the forest and he took out ten Pokéballs from a draw and sent his Pokémon's out.

"Woah!" Mairin and Takato said.

Brock whistled impress, "Thats lot."

What the gang saw were ten different Shiny Pokémon; a Shiny Mareep, a Shiny Magikarp, a Shiny Weepinbell, a Shiny Marill, a Shiny Growlithe, a Shiny Sentret, a Shiny Gastly, a Shiny Goldeen, a Shiny Jigglypuff, a Shiny Zubat and a Shiny Hoppip.

"Pikapi." Light said, impressed.

Zack barked.

"Chespin." Chespie said.

"Wow. Dr. Wiseman, your Pokémon are incredible. I never seen these type of Shiny Pokémon before." Brock commented.

"Thank you. It did take me ages of course to find a Shiny Pokémon, but it's worth it when you want to capture Shiny Pokémon." Dr. Wiseman said, then he became curious, "What type of Shiny Pokémon have you seen before?"

"Oh, it's nee-chan and Alain." Takato said.

"Yeah, they have Shiny Pokémon, well Yuna has the most." Mairin said.

"Oh, what are they?" Dr. Wiseman asked.

"I have only one and it's a Gyarados." Alain replied.

"Oh wow, a Gyarados. You must be very skill and lucky to have one of those."

"I have four well six of you count the young ones." Yuna said, unsure, "I have a Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Vulpix, Alolan Vulpix and two Rockruff." She didn't say her Legendary Pokémon or the unusual colour ones.

"You have very unique type of Shiny Pokémon Yuna. Though an Alolan Vulpix and Rockruff is something I have to see for myself in the future."

"If you want they are in the Alola Region." Brock said.

Dr. Wiseman nodded, "Thank you for that."

"Your welcome sir."

"Um, does anyone else, apart from us knows about your Shiny Pokémon?" Yuna asked, well she had too.

"Oh, yes. Nurse Joy does but I mostly try not to show them because someone might try to steal them from me." Dr. Wiseman answered, "Shiny Pokémon end up as targets to those who sell Pokémon for money."

"That's true." Alain said.

Unfortunately trouble is watching them and it's two men's who are watching them in secret through a window of the cabin.

"Wow Chazz, look at all those Shiny Pokémon." One of the men said.

"Yeah Clad, we would definitely be rich by that lot." 'Chazz' said, with a smirked.

"Shall we get that Shiny Noctowl as well?" Clad asked.

"Yes, we shall. We will let Dr. Wiseman find that Noctowl for us first. Then we will swipe his other Shiny Pokémon, along with those two kids." Chazz pointed to Yuna and Alain, "The girl has very interesting Shiny Pokémon."

Clad nodded, "Okay."

Dr. Wiseman and the gang headed back to forest so that Dr. Wiseman can try to capture the Shiny Noctowl.

Dr. Wiseman was currently setting up something in the tree branch between the leaves, "This trap of mine is certain to work." He said, getting out of the tree.

"What's trap is it?" Mairin asked.

"You have to wait to see, when Noctowl gets here that is." Dr. Wiseman replied.

"Um, will Noctowl come back here. I mean it did fly away when you tried to catch it earlier." Takato said.

"It will come. It always comes back here." Dr. Wiseman declared.

While they were all waiting, Dr. Wiseman is right, the Shiny Noctowl did come back to the area.

"Bbrrrii?" Shiny Noctowl stared at something in the branch and then it started to use Hypnosis, while still looking at something in the branch of the tree and all the sudden it fell out of the tree in a daze.

"Wha-?" Yuna blinked.

"Pi?" Light blinked twice.

"What just happened?" Mairin asked, confused.

"My plan worked. I place a mirror in the branch between leaves, so when Noctowl used Hypnosis on its own reflection, the mirror reflected the Hypnosis back at Noctowl." Dr. Wiseman explained.

"That's really cleaver." Brock commented.

Dr. Wiseman was about to go and capture the Shiny Noctowl when suddenly the two man appeared from the bush and caught Noctowl in a net.

"What?!" Dr. Wiseman gasped.

"Heh, thanks for the Shiny Noctowl Dr. Wiseman." Chazz said, picking up the the net.

"Yes and we would like your other Shiny Pokémon too." Clad demanded and he pointed to Yuna, "We'll also take your Pokémon as well little girl."

Alain wasn't amused by this.

"Who are you!" Mairin asked, shouting.

"We are Chazz and Clad." Chazz introduce themselves.

"Pleasure to meet you." Clad said.

Dr. Wiseman eyes widen, "I've heard of you guys, you capture rare Pokémon and sell them to make money." He said.

"That's right. Your Shiny Pokémon will make a lot of money for us, along with the girls Pokémon." Clad ended, with a laugh.

The gang can't believe that those men, but they have met many thieves like that.

"My girlfriend is going to decline that." Alain spoke up.

Yuna frowned, "Alain is right, I'm going to have decline that. Light, use Quick Attack." She said.

"Pika!" Light dashed and tackled the two men on the stomach.

"Argh!" Chazz groaned out, dropping the next.

"We'll show you brat!" Clad gritted his teeth, pulled out two Pokéball, "Go Houndoom and Granbull!"

Chazz recovered from the attack and he also took out two Pokéballs, "Go Scizor and Ursaring!"

"Doom!" Houndoom appeared.

"Granbull!" The bulldog like dog, barked.

"Rargh!" The tall brown bear-like Pokémon roared.

"Scizor!" The pincer Pokémon appeared.

Yuna pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

[Houndoom, the Dark Pokémon. The evolved form of Houndour. Houndoom's eerie howl is said to chase those who hear it to shudder in fear..]

[Granbull, the Fairy Pokémon. Granbull has extreme biting power due its heavily muscled jaw and its strong teeth and tusks.]

[Ursaring, the Hibernator Pokémon. The evolved form of Teddisura. The Ursaring has such a keen sense of smell that it can even find food that has been buried.]

Yuna place her Pokédex away and took out four Pokéballs, "Go Chikorita, Totodile, Pele and Galen." She sent out the leaf Pokémon, big jaw Pokémon, fire mouse Pokémon and playhouse Pokémon.

"Chiko!"

"Toto-dile!"

"Cyndaquil!"

"Happiny!"

All Pokémon appeared, ready to battle.

"Chikorita use Leaf Storm on Granbull! Totodile use Hydro Pump on Houndoom! Pele use Fire Blast on Scizor! Galen use Drain Punch on Ursaring!"

"Chikoooo!" Chikorita summoned up a giant tornado of leaves and sent it towards the fairy Pokémon.

"Granbullllll!" Granbull cried out in pain as it was struck inside the Leaf Storm and then it was sent into the air, falling down onto the ground with a 'THUD' and swirling eyes.

"Totoodileeeee!" Totodile opened his jaw and launched a huge stream of water towards the dark Pokémon.

"Doom! Doooomm!" Houndoom was sent blasting into a tree, knocked out.

"Cyndaaaaquilll!" Pele back burst into flames and she opened her mouth firing a blast of kanji-like flames towards the pincer Pokémon.

"Scizor!? Scizzzoorrrr!" Scizor was sent backwards from the Fire Blast attack, into a tree, knocking it out.

"Hap Hap Happiny!" Galen dashed towards the hibernator Pokémon, dodging the punch of the Pokémon with her tiny fist glowing in a green spiral like, she punch it on the stomach.

[A/N: Don't forget that Happiny's are strong even if they were just hatched, remember about Brock's Happiny when it was just hatched, it defeated Team Rocket.]

"RARGHHH!" Ursaring bent over from the attack on its stomach, "Rargh!" Another hit was landed on its face, falling backwards, with swirling eyes.

Dr. Wiseman was dumbfound by the little Pokémon taking out a large Pokémon.

"Chikorii!" The leaf Pokémon smiled.

"Totodile!" The big jaw Pokémon jumped up and down, happily.

"Cyndaquil!" The fire mouse Pokémon raised both its paws happily.

All Three Johto Region Starter Pokémon froze and began to glow.

"Wow, they all evolving." Brock said.

Everyone watched as each Johto Region Starter Pokémon were growing bigger and changing shape, soon the light died down, revealing the new form of them.

"Oh wow..." Yuna took out her Pokédex and scanned her three newly evolved Pokémon.

[Bayleef, the Leaf Pokémon. The evolved form of Chikorita. Bayleef emits a spicy aroma from the leaves around its neck and it's Razor Leaf is extremely powerful.]

[Croconaw, the Big Jaw Pokémon. The evolved form Totodile. Once it bites down on something, it won't let go until it loses it ms fangs. But new fangs grow back quickly.]

[Quilava, the Volcano Pokémon. The evolved form of Cyndaquil. Quilava intimidates foes with its flame's heat and when ready for battle the fire burns with more strength. Its body is covered with fire-proof fur and can withstand any Fire-type attacks.]

Yuna smiled as she place her Pokédex away, "Congratulations everyone." She said.

"Bay Bay!" The leaf Pokémon smiled.

"Croconaw!" The big jaw Pokémon, nodded.

"Quilava!" The volcano Pokémon smiled.

"Now, it's your turn." Alain said, looking at the two thieves.

Chazz and Clad both gulped and paled, sweating as they see the newly evolved Pokémon who are all glaring at the two thieves and they tried to make a run for it.

Yuna wasn't having any of that, "Light, Thunder Wave them." She said.

Light had a glint in her eyes, "Pikachuuuuuu." She shocked both thieves.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh...." Both Chazz and Clad collapsed onto the ground, paralysis.

"I better call Officer Jenny at once." Dr. Wiseman said and he run into his cabin to telephone the female police officer.

Yuna returned all her Pokémon, expect Light and walked over towards the capture Shiny Noctowl, she gently removed the net from it.

Brock and Alain tied a rope around Chazz and Clad, so they wouldn't escape.

"Are you okay now Noctowl?" Yuna asked the owl Pokémon.

"Briil." Noctowl hooted, nodding.

Dr. Wiseman came up, "Officer Jenny is on her way." He said.

"That's good." Mairin said.

"Yeah, they deserve to be in jail." Takato added, glaring at the two thieves.

The Shiny Noctowl flew up onto a tree branch, "Briiiillll!" It hooted, loudly.

"Rowlet?" Takato said, hearing what the shiny owl Pokémon said.

And from the sky, a Pokémon flew and landed beside the Shiny Noctowl fast and rubbing against it.

"Who that's Pokémon?" Dr. Wiseman asked, never seen before.

"A Rowlet. An Alola Region Grass-type Starter Pokémon." Alain replied, surprised to see one here.

Yuna took out her Pokédex and pointed at the smaller owl-like Pokémon.

[Rowlet, the Grass Quill Pokémon. It stores energy during the day from photosynthesis. It swoops down without making a sound and unleashes a powerful kick without being notice.

Note: Rowlet are native in the Alola Region.]

"Rowl~~" Rowlet looked at the Shiny Noctowl in questioned.

Shiny Noctowl hooted softy at the grass quill Pokémon and it then pointed at Yuna, with its wing.

"Rowl~" Rowlet looked at Yuna, tilting its head.

Shiny Noctowl hooted and nodded, "Briiiii Briil Briiill. (I want to battle you.)" It said.

Yuna blinked and pointed towards herself, "Huh, you want to battle me?" She asked, the owl Pokémon.

Dr. Wiseman chuckled, "Thats correct. I've tried many times to capture Noctowl, but it's just to smart for me." He said, "Now it's your turn to capture it."

Yuna looked unsure, she looked at the shiny owl Pokémon who was eager and she nodded, "Okay, I accept Noctowl. Yas, I need your help." She sent out the alolan Shiny Vulpix.

"Vulpp!" Yas appeared with glitter, ready to battle.

"Wow, so that a Shiny Alolan Vulpix." Dr. Wiseman awed.

"Yep." Mairin and Takato said.

"Brii." Rowlet flew to a different branch, avoiding the battle.

"Yas use Ice Shard." Yuna said.

"Vulpixxx!" Yas opened his mouth and shards of ice came from it, towards the shiny owl Pokémon.

"Briii!" Shiny Noctowl avoiding it by flying into the sky and it dived down with its wings glowing white.

"That's a Wing Attack." Alain said.

Yuna waited till Shiny Noctowl was close enough, "Use Powder Snow now." She said.

Yas breathes a gust of cold wind with small balls of snow at the close shiny owl Pokémon but Noctowl immediately flew up, dodging the Powder Snow.

Dr. Wiseman shivered, feeling the Powder Snow attack, "Brrr, it's cold." He said.

Brock agreed, "Even if Yas is young, still strong." He commented, "A-choo! Brrr..."

"Noctowl is fast. It was able to avoid the Powder Snow attack." Alain commented, impressed.

"Brrrriiilll!" Shiny Noctowl flew in once more and in was right in front of Yas and it used Hypnosis.

"Vulpixxx~~" Yas was confused, he was moving around.

"Oh no, that was Noctowl's Hypnosis." Brock commented.

"Yas, hang in there and use Icy Wind!" Yas shook his head, trying to regain control of his mind and body, he immediately used Icy Wind, freezing the shiny owl Pokémon.

"Yes!" Mairin clapped.

"Now's your chance nee-chan!" Takato exclaimed.

"Rowl..." Rowlet looked worried.

"Iron Tail Yas." The alolan fox Pokémon tails glowed metallic colour and he slammed in onto the frozen Shiny Noctowl, destroying the ice.

The Shiny Noctowl was sent flying backwards, crashing its back into a tree and it was knocked out with swirling eyes.

Yuna took a empty Pokéball and threw it towards the Shiny Noctowl and the Pokéball sucked the shiny owl Pokémon in, it wriggled a bit and then a 'DING' was heard. Shiny Noctowl is captured.

"Alright, I caught Noctowl." Yuna smiled.

Everyone congratulated Yuna on her capture.

Yuna immediately let her newly captured Pokémon out.

"Brii!" Shiny Noctowl appeared.

"Rowl~" Rowlet flew down and landed on Yuna's shoulder and rubbed against her face.

Yuna was awed and touched the grass quill Pokémon, she grabbed it off her shoulder gently and rubbed it, "Wah~ So fluffy and soft!" She giggled.

[A/N: Rowlet looks sooooo fluffy and soft in the anime it was sooooooo freakinnn CUTTEEEEE! I swear that even I want to touch it, but it's just IMPOSSIBLE!]

"Briii Briii Briil. (I want you to capture my daughter.)" Shiny Noctowl said.

"Your daughter?!" Takato exclaimed, shocked.

"Eh?" Yuna said.

"There is a story behind this." Brock commented.

Shiny Noctowl explains that he found Rowlet as a Pokémon Egg and when she hatched, he raised her as his own daughter, he doesn't want to be separated from her but it seems like she has taken a liken to his new trainer fast.

Yuna smiled and nodded, "Don't worry I won't seperate you two." She took out a Cherish Ball from her pocket, she held it in front of the grass quill Pokémon, "Welcome Sylva." She tapped her with it.

"Brrii~" Rowlet nodded at the name, before she was sucked into the Cherish Ball and she was captured without a fuss.

Yuna returned back her Shiny Noctowl back, after confirming the capture of the young Rowlet.

A few moments later Officer Jenny arrived, to arrest Chazz and Clad who are still tied up.

"Here you go Officer Jenny." Brock said, pointing to the two thieves.

Officer Jenny and grabbed them by the rope, pulling them up, she place handcuffs on them both, "Thank you for contacting Dr. Wiseman, I've been after Chad and Clad for a while now." She said.

Dr. Wiseman nodded, "Your welcome." He said.

"Now they won't be selling Pokémon anymore." Officer Jenny stated and she left with the two thieves.

Everyone was relieved to hear that.

After the arrest of two thieves; Chazz and Clad, the gang bid farewell to Dr. Wiseman and left the forest to continue on their journey.
