Takes place after XYZ. The reader wakes up in a sewer with no memory, and a totodile trying to pull him up a ladder through a manhole. The Totodile had saved him from drowning and was trying to get him to Prof. Sycamore for help. When the Prof. Meets the reader he asks him what he remembers, and all he can say was his name (Y/n) (L/n), all well as his extensive knowledge of pokemon. Augustine recommends that the reader go on a journey with Totodile, as well as with a trainer who would soon be arriving for his starter.

Later in the story: I'm sure a few people remember that cave that Alain, Steven, and the others found that was apparently filled with the material that mega stones were from. So Team flare has gotten a revival and decide to start mining the mega lite (what I'm calling the material) for experimentation in creating mega stones. The reader is pushed against a wall, and has grabbed Steven's keystone to keep it from team flares hands. He asks his remaining pokemon, Feraligatr and Haxorus, to grab shards of the Megalite, in Hope's that it'll allow them to mega evolve. In a sequence similar to Bond Phenomenon, the megalite shards his pokemon hold begin to glow and take on new colors, becoming mega stones, the reader then uses Steven's Keystone to mega evolve the both of them, unleashing new breeds on mega evolved pokemon.
