Aphmau's POV
I could hear an alarm clock before I could feel Rowlet waking up by pecking me in the head, I groan and say, "Let me sleep..." before he kept pecking my head and I gave up, getting up and yawning before going to the shower to wash off and brush her teeth, afterwards she got dressed and went downstairs to see her mom cooking while dancing to her Beyoncé, "Morning míja!" She says happily as Eevee and Rowlet followed her down the stairs, she then served me and herself some bacon and scrambled eggs and then served Rowlet and Eevee some berries and pickled Remoraid, "Yay! Bacon!" I shout in joy as I start digging in, I could see mom chuckle a bit, "Well, it's good to know that you're enjoying your meal before you head out to your journey," I nod, she then chuckles as Rowlet and Eevee jump on the couch and chase each other, "Have you given them nicknames yet?" I then suddenly stop eating to think as I watch Rowlet and Eevee play on the couch, "Hmm, I'll think of something..." I respond, Mom nods and grabs our plates, putting them in the sink. I get up and make sure that all my stuff is ready but I'm interrupted as Rowlet and Eevee jumped on me, with Eevee licking my face and Rowlet pecking my stomach, I'm laughing trying to get them off as Mom lets out a small chuckle and wiped a tear from her eyes. I get up and fix my hat as Rowlet and Eevee go into their Pokéballs.

Sylvanna's POV
I smiled as I saw so much of Zach in her, she was growing up so fast, I then walk over and help her pack her things and adjust her hat before hugging her for the last time for awhile, "M-My little Míja is all grown up now!" I sob as Aphmau comforts me, promising that they would come and visit, I wipe away the tears from my eyes, telling her that she could try Starlight City for their first gym battle, her eyes lit up in joy and hugged me as there was a knock on the door.

Aphmau's POV
I walk over to answer the door to see Travis waiting with Poplio on his shoulder and a Houndour next to his legs, "Hey, I was hoping since I'm going on journey, maybe you might want to travel with me..." I was going to answer but mom suddenly pushed me aside and shouted, "You better look after my little Míja boy or Arceus help me I'll hang you upside down from a bridge and smack you with a wrench!" Travis then backed up with his hands raised, "D-Don't worry ma'am, I'll take g-good care of her!" He says terrified and returning his Pokémon to their Pokéballs, mom then sighs and looks at me, "Stay safe alright Míja?" I nod and hug her, "I'll be same mom, I love you..." Mom smiles back, "I love you too..."  she says waving goodby as we went to the beginning of our journey to Route 1.
