"I CALL DIBS ON DRUMS!!" Ash yelled, racing Gary towards their personal practice room.

Gary shoved Ash into the wall, stepping in front of him and yanking open the door. "Not today ASHY! I'm on drums!"Aah tried reaching for Gary but was too late when a hand was placed in his chest.

"Shut UP!! I don't want the teacher giving me a detention because you guys were being idiots!" Misty yelled as she shoved the two boys out of her way and entered their private music room, leaving Gary and Ash groaning on the ground.

"Uuuuu-u-ugh, I can't get up..." Ash whimpered, holding his stomach while laying in the ground from being shoved into the wall, then the ground right after.

Serena walked over to Ash and held out a hand, smiling at him. Ash happily grabbed her small hand as she helped him up. "Thanks Serena, at least one of us is nice."

"O-oh, it's nothing, you're welcome Ash." Serena blushed, looking away towards the side and avoiding eye contact.

"Someone LOVES you!" May cooed, laughing at Ash's and Serena's reactions as they both blushed.

"May!!" Serena gritted, giving a glare at her friend, but quickly shook it off since May way only kidding around.

Dawn shrugged her shoulders and took a seat on the ground, getting ready to take another nap. Honestly, their teacher really liked Dawn for some reason, so she didn't mind what Dawn would do, as long as she was keeping up.

While Ash and Gary began arguing again, Dawn pulled out a blanket, pulled up her hoodie and tightened it so that her nose was the only part sticking out. She faced the wall and pulled the blanket over her, closing her eyelids whole shutting out all the noise.

"SHADDUP!" May yelled, chucking a drumstick at Gary's head. Misty laughed while the drumstick hit Gary's face dead on, leaving a huge red mark across.

"NO! Not my beautiful flawless face!" Gary cried out, covering his face as Ash laughed hysterically at the brunette. "That's what you get, buddy!" Gary smacked his hand away several times, but Ash wouldn't let up. They kept cat-fighting while the others rolled their eyes at the dumb fight.

Serena looked around the room at her friends, but noticed Dawn...on the ground?

"Hey, is Dawn...sleeping?" Serena asked out loud, making everyone immediately shut up and face the direction she was looking at, which was Dawn.

Ash whined "Awwww, I wanna take a nap too!!"

*SLAP!*

"Can't you ever stop being a baby!?" Misty shouted, the print of her hand was laid on Ash's cheek where she slapped him out of his stupidity.

"Dumbasses." Paul muttered under his breath, specifically talking about Gary and Ash. How and why the Hell was he friends with them in the first place? It was so stupid.

"SSHHHHH!!!!!!" May shushed over dramatically, running up to everyone's faces and shushing them.

Drew chuckled "Yeah yeah, we all know you're doing that so you can get close to me." Misty facepalmed right when Drew had the utter guts to get those words out of his mouth.

Mays face immediately burst into a red color, "NO!! Our friends is sleeping, and I didn't want anyone to wake her the fuck UP!!"

"Well, with you being this loud I wouldn't be surprised if you woke her up, July."

"SHUT UP!!"

Drew facepalmed, deciding to not respond to her shouting.

"Let's just practice, alright?"

Everyone was exiting the classrooms since the school day ended...

Except Dawn.

Who was fast asleep. On the ground. What else could she be doing?

Paul rolled his eyes as he held the door open for his other friends to get out, then almost left before he looked back to realize that Troublesome was still SLEEPING.

"Damn Troublesome, you're always sleeping in class." Paul muttered as he crouched next to her and poked her a few times gently in her shoulder.

"Mm...no...five more minutes..." Dawn groaned, ignoring whoever the hell was poking her at the moment. Sorry, but it was still nap time.

"Troublesome, school's out. C'mon, I wanna get back before Ash steals all of my sour candy I left on my desk."

Dawn pifted and laughed at Paul's response, thinking that it was a bit ridiculous for him to say that. She got onto her feet and started looking for her raggedy backpack until a hand held it out for her.

"Thank you." Dawn quietly said as they both started walking out of the practice room as throughout the crowded hallways. The freshman were always super bumpy, so Paul led the way with Dawn close behind him so she wouldn't get bumped. Usually when people saw Paul in the hallways, they gave him plenty of space to walk since he was a popular sports prodigy in the school.

"What do you plan on doing for spring sports since basketball season ended for us?" Paul muttered as soon as they got outside, with Dawn close to his left side as she decided to go to his & Ash's apartment.

Dawn shrugged her shoulders "I don't know, maybe track? Depends I guess."

Paul nodded his head and glanced down at the blunette's head from the corners of his eyes. She never talked about what happened with her family, or barely participated when their friends were talking.

Sometimes he couldn't help but wonder if things were okay.

For some reason, it feels like it's not...

It's not like he forgot about what happened early this year...that shit was crazy scary.

They silently walked back to the apartment, Paul opening the door to let Dawn go in first. He closed the door behind him to see Ash shoving his face full of...

"Ass Ketchup I swear to ARCEUS.."

Ash gulped the candy from inside his mouth and grinned nervously, trying to look as innocent as possible. He hid the candy wrapper on the couch he was on, hoping that Paul wouldn't notice the entire BAG was gone...

"Oh, h-hey! WAZZUP...BOIII!!!"

"Fuck you! You took that off of my desk!"

"Ahh, uhh-h..whatcha talkin' bout BOI? Oh shit BOI-"

"Do NOT call me 'BOI', dumbass!" Paul chucked a random binder as hard as he could at Ashs head. Ash barely got lucky by ducking downwards into the couch, the binder exploding with his papers from science.

"HEY BOI! That was my-OH SHIT BOI!" Ash yelled and ran as Paul started to run after him while attempting to sprint to his room.

Too bad Ash had JUST remembered that Paul could outrun him at any point in time.

Paul jumped and successfully tackled Ash, making his whole body crash into the floor.

"BOI, please don't kill me! I swear I'll never eat your candy again! PLEASE BOI I BEG OF YOU!" Ash pleaded while closing his eyes, putting his hands in front of his face for some protection, at least he though it was better than nothing.

"Shut up, and stop fucking calling me that! You're buying me that shit back, GOT IT?"

Ash nodded his head as Paul got up and "accidentally" stepped on his chest, making Ash wince. "Hey boi, watch where you're steppin'!" Paul glared down at the helpless boy who had immediately regret his words, shutting his eyes before his doom.

Once Ash realized Paul hadn't done anything, he quickly got up and walked behind Pauls back to the kitchen where Dawn was currently standing...

Laughing. She was actually..laughing?

Dawn had her head on the counter with her hands, currently dying of laughter from the sight she just saw.

She got up and wiped the tears from her eyes and temporarily stopped laughing until she looked at Paul, then burst into laughing even harder than before.

"I-I'm s-sorry! That w-was just t-too funny!" Dawn clapped a few times before she slid to the ground, still not being able to relax.

Paul immediately smirked at the sight, he never once thought to see her like this. She was so...happy. It was a scene he'd probably never get to see again.

"It wasn't that funny," Paul tried to say with a straight face, but somehow couldn't bring himself to do it. His smirk shined through, plastered onto his face as he helped the laughing blueberry head to the couch so she wouldn't be sitting on the floor.

What if this moment never happened again? Well, guess he's just have to keep kicking Ashs' ass so she could keep laughing.

Her laugh was like music to his ears and he didn't even realize it. He'll just have to hope for these moments in the future to happen again..

And that hurt more than Hell than he'd realize until someday..it'll be too late to say so.
