"I knew it!" Dawn jumps and hugs me.

"Woah there." I giggle.

"You like Ash?" Iris smiles.

"Well, yeah." I nervously say.

"Oh my arceus! So cute!" May squeals.

"Took you long enough. How long has it been since your last boyfriend? Like, a year or two?" Misty says.

"I don't know..." I reply.

I glance over at Ash who is talking to Miette. I wonder if he's enjoying it.

"So, what are you gonna do? Miette is also trying to win Ash's heart." Iris says.

"That's the thing. It seems like he's having a great time with her." I sigh.

"I don't think so. Miette doesn't stand a chance with him." Dawn says as she puts her hands on her hips.

"That's right. Serena you have to-" May starts before she is interupted by Gary.

"Yo! We are heading to the water! You girls coming?" Gary shouts.

"Oh, yeah! Okay, we're coming!" I shout back.

"We'll talk later." Iris says.

"Alright." I reply.

We walk back to the others.

I notice all the guys had already removed their shirts. I examine them one by one.

Paul, Gary and Drew all had slighty toned bodies, while Clemont, Barry, and Kenny had a more soft, skinnier, natural body shape. I look at Ash, and start to blush. He had a nice body shape. His body is toned, just like Gary, Paul and Drew, but unlike theirs, Ash's abs were already starting to form, and can be cleary seen.

"Alright, let's go." Gary says as he takes the last sip of his drink and tosses it into the recycling can.

Gary starts walking to the shore, followed by everyone else.

"Fenn..." Fennekin stops me.

"Huh? What's up?" I say and kneel down in front of her.

"Fenn, fennekin..." Fennekin slowly says with her head down.

"Serena?" I hear Ash's voice.

"Aren't you coming? Is there something wrong?" He says.

"Oh, it's nothing. Fennekin is the one who seems to be having a problem." I say as I blush.

Now that I am 100% I like him, I feel more nervous around him.

"Really? What's the matter?" Ash moves beside me and kneels in front of Fennekin.

"Fenn...fennekin."

"I see." Ash turns to me.

"Fennekin says she feels left out. She doesn't want to be left alone here while we go swim." Ash says.

"Is that true?" I look at Fennekin.

"Fenn!" Fennekin nods.

"How did you understand her?" I ask Ash.

"I don't know. I just seem to understand pokemon, and what they are feeling." He replies.

"That's impressive." I say.

"Thanks." He smiles at me.

I notice a light shade of pink appear on his cheeks. Is he...blushing? I look away from him, trying to ignore it.

I look at Fennekin, who is looking back at me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know. I can stay here with you." I smile at her.

"Fenn!" Fennekin smiles back at me and jumps.

"But you can't just come to the beach and not swim." Ash says as he looks at the others, who were splashing in the water.

"I know but-" I start until Ash cuts me off.

"I'll be back!" Ash runs towards the water.

He quickly comes back with his pokemon, Froakie in his arms.

"Froakie says he could carry you on his back while in the water. Now you can have fun with us." Ash smiles.

"Fenn!" Fennekin jumps.

"Thank you." I smile at him.

"No problem." He smiles back.

I reach out to pet Fennekin's head, but to my surprise, Ash reaches out to pet her at the same time. Our hands end up touching, with mine on the bottom and Ash's on top.

Instead of moving, we make eye contact for a while. I can feel myself blushing. I hope he doesn't notice it. His deep brown eyes are staring directly into mines.

"Fenn?" Fennekin says a little confused.

"Huh? Uh.." I quickly remove my hand.

"S-sorry!" Ash nervously says while his face turns red as a tomato.

"I-it's fine!" I say.

That was kind of awkward. But seeing Ash all nervous is so adorable.

"Oh Ash!" Miette calls.

"Huh?" Ash turns around.

"I have to go. My mom is calling me, I need to get my nails done." Miette says.

"Oh, okay. See you." Ash replies.

"No, I want you to come with me." Miette smiles.

"Huh? Uh, I don't know. I kinda want to stay here, sorry." Ash scratches his head.

"Please? You will have more fun with me..." Miette pouts.

"Miette, he said he wants to stay here, so let him be." I say, sounding kind of angry.

Miette looks at me and glares.

"Erg. Fine." Miette rolls her eyes.

"See you on Monday." Ash smiles.

"Alrighty." Miette says.

"Come on." Ash looks at me.

We start walking to the water, but Miette grabs my arm and stops me. She holds my arm pretty tightly. She waits until Ash was at a far enough distance.

"Ow, Miette, let go of me!" I say and move my arm.

She moves her head closer to mines.

"You got lucky, bird brain."

"What do you mean?" I raise my eyebrow.

"You stand no chance with Ash when I'm around. You can clearly see he is more attracted to me." She says.

"How can you be so sure about that...?" I say quietly.

"Duh, I have the looks. You are nothing." Miette smirks.

"Just shut up!" I almost yell.

"It's funny to see you act all tough, when you are just an innocent, helpless little girl." Miette laughs.

"Miette, you are-" I start.

"Well, I'm gonna be late." Miette interupts me.

"Ta-ta." She gives me an evil smile and walks away.

I glare at her and clench my fists. I hate her with a passion. She should just go and move to a different region to be never seen again. Or she could die in a hole or something. That works too.

"Serena! Over here!" I hear Dawn say.

"Hurry!" Misty adds.

"Coming!" I look away from Miette and walk to the water.

I move towards them. I notice that many Wooper are surrounding the 4 girls.

"Look at all these little Wooper!" May squeals.

"It's so fun swimming with them!" Iris adds.

A few Wooper make their way towards me and start circling around me.

"Aw, they're so cute!" I say while giggling.

"So what happened? We saw you with Miette." Misty says.

"It was nothing, Miette just pretty much tried to make me see how much better she was, and how she was better looking." I sigh.

"Haha, if only it were true." May laughs.

"Better looking? She's that stupid? Doesn't she realize that her hair is insane? Just saying." Dawn says.

"You can say that again." I giggle.

"But seriously. Who likes their hair like that?" Dawn laughs.

"Hiya!" I hear a voice behind me, followed by a huge splash of water.

"AGH!" I shriek and quickly turn around.

The person turns out to be Ash. I wasn't planning on getting my hair wet just yet.

"Hey!" I shout at him.

"Sorry, I just had to." He laughs.

I glare at him and turn back to Misty, May and Iris. I notice that they were gone. I look around and see them at a far distance away from me. I see Dawn wink at me while Misty points to Ash and Iris makes a heart with her hands. Now I kind of regret telling them how I feel about him. I roll my eyes and turn back to Ash.

Once I face him, I get another splash of water, this time, on my face.

"HA! Gotcha again!" Ash says and laughs.

I wipe my face and glare at him again.

"You wanna go?" I give an evil smile.

I splash water back at him with all my might. The splash turned out better than expected, the water shot him right in the face.

"AGH!" He shouts.

He wipes his face and begins snorting and coughing.

"T-the water went u-up my nose!" He says.

"Oh, sorry!" I giggle.

He gives his nose one last wipe and looks at me. He runs away, towards Gary and the others.

"Where is he going?" I say to myself.

He comes back with a water gun in hand.

"Hehe." He waves the water gun.

"Woah, Ash that's not fair." I gulp and back away.

"Oh well." He smiles.

He starts spraying me with multiple shots of water.

"Ash! Stop!" I giggle.

I try to block the water with my hands. A few moments later, he stops.

"No! The gun is out of water!" He pouts.

"Too bad, so sad." I laugh.

He quickly puts the gun underwater and starts to refill it.

"Oh no you don't!" I say.

I jump and tackle him, bringing him underwater.

"AHH!" He shouts.

I try to hold him down, but he had more strength than me. He easily got out from underwater. He coughed a few more times, gasping for air.

"Are you trying to kill me!?" He says.

"Maybe...maybe not." I smile at him.

He chuckles and playfully rolls his eyes.

"Froakie!" I hear a voice.

I look down, to see Froakie swimming around with Fennekin on his head.

"Fenn!"

"Disc!" A pokemon says.

Many Luvdisc start swimming around Ash, Fennekin, Froakie and I.

"Woah, Luvdisc." Ash says.

"Aww, they're so cute!" I squeal.

Ash takes out his pokedex from his back pocket.

"Luvdisc, the rendezvous pokemon. Luvdisc live in shallow seas in the tropics. This heart-shaped Pokémon earned its name by swimming after loving couples it spotted in the ocean's waves."

There is an awkward silence. What did the pokedex say? Loving couples? I start blushing. I swear to arceus that I have blushed like, 100 times already today. I look at Ash, who is looking back at me. It looks like he is blushing too.

"Fenn?" Fennekin looks at all the Luvdisc.

"Fro fro..." Froakie's cheeks turn pink.

"Uhh, maybe these Luvdisc mistook us for a couple?" I say.

"M-maybe..." He replies while trying to hide his face.

"O-or the pokedex is wrong! The pokedex i-is not always correct, right?" Ash nervously blurts out.

"I don't know, I guess." I say.

The Luvdisc soon leave, diving back into the ocean.

"Yo! Ash! Serena!" Gary calls out.

"What's up?" Ash looks at him.

"It's getting late, I think it's time to go!" Kenny adds.

"Okay, coming!" I say.

Ash and I walk out of the water. We pick up our towels and wipe ourselves. We change back into our normal clothes. A few mintutes later, we head out of the beach. Ash, Gary, May, Clemont and I decide to walk together since we all live in Vaniville, while the others go their own ways.

We walk for a while in complete silence. Only the sound of our footsteps could be heard.

"W-wait!" Clemont says and breaks the silence.

"Huh?" We all turn around to see Clemont very far behind.

We stop walking, and sweatdrop. We wait until he catches up.

"Y-you guys walk so fast!" Clemont pants.

"Maybe you walk too slow." May sweatdrops.

"H-how do you guys do it? We are going uphill!" Clemont says and wipes his sweat.

"It's not that hard, Clemont." I say.

"Aren't you like, an inventor or something?" Ash asks.

"Uh, yeah, like one of the best." Clemont smiles.

"Okay, so why don't you use your top notch inventing skills to make a device to help you walk faster?" He says.

"That's actually a great idea. Thanks Ash. I will get to work once I get home." Clemont says.

"Man, hurry up already. Let's go, my mom will kill me if I get home late." Gary interupts.

"Alright, calm down." Ash rolls his eyes.

We start walking again.

"Come on Clemont...just a few more blocks and you will be home." Clemont quietly says to himself.

We walk for 15 minutes, then we finally arrive at Vaniville just before 6pm. We say our goodbyes and head to our houses. I walk into my house and find my mom cooking dinner in the kitchen.

"Hey mom. I'm back." I smile.

"Oh, Serena. Welcome back. How was the beach?"

"It was fun." I smile.

"That's good." My mom says. "So how about some dinner?"

"That'd be great." I reply and sit down in the dining room.

I eat my dinner for about 30 minutes. I wash my plate and head to my room. I place my backpack on my desk. I then look at my binder. Oh right. I still have homework to do. Oh well, that's a Sunday problem. I jump onto my bed and turn on the TV. I let out Fennekin and Pancham to watch with me. We decide to watch any of the shows that were on at this time, like Pretty Little Liars or Orange is the New Black. I spend quality time with my pokemon until 11pm. I decide to head to bed. Fennekin curls up and lies above me on the corner of my pillow while Pancham lies on my blanket. I close my eyes.

Aside from Miette being there, this day went pretty well.
