Ash's P.O.V.

      Once my mom left my room after she found Serena and I... Doing things... She hasn't said a word. She went down stairs and started putting away groceries, and then making dinner. It wasn't like her. Normally if she saw that she would just go off on me.

"Ash. Come downstairs."

I started down the stairs, and sat at the table. My mom made a plate and started at me. It was so quite all you could hear was the clock ticking away.

"So, are we going to talk now?" I asked my mother.

"Ash, I don't know anything about this girl and I come home and she's in your room, making out with you. You know how I feel about dating at such a young age! Do you not remember how you were born? I'll have to meet this girl, her parents, and get to know them both. Until then you will not do anything with her." Thankfully our project was done, but this would still be hard.

"Okay, thanksgiving is coming up this weekend, why don't we just invite them over?"

"Fine. Now go get me your phone. I'm not going to look through it, I'm just making sure you don't talk to This girl outside the time to invite them to thanksgiving in school tommorow."

I shook my head up and down, ran and got my phone and gave it to her. I didn't finish eating, I was too sick to my stomach. I ran up to my room and tried going to sleep, but it was too early. I hatched a plan instead.

I would sneak out when my mom went to sleep to see Serena. It would be like those old romantic movies. I just went on my phone until my mom went to sleep. Then, it was time.

I opened my window and climbed out. I landed in the bushes, so it didn't hurt. I got up and brushed myself off. I started walking down the street to Serena's house.

After a few minutes I was there, and I saw her room light on. I decided to be REALLY cliche, and throw a pebble at her window. She didn't hear it, because she didn't even look. I decided I was going all or nothing. And climbed up to her window and looked in. I saw her sitting in her bed, face red and sweaty, hair frizzed, and she was almost in tears looking at the ground. I couldn't stand seeing her like this.

I knocked on her window, and she looked over to me with tears in her eyes. She ran over to the window and opened it. She pulled me in and locked her door.

"Ash! What are you doing here?" Serena whispered.

I filled her in on the situation with my mom and thanksgiving, and she looked like it was the end of the world. I know how she feels though.

"I'll ask my mom tommorow. We'll have to prove we belong together." Serena got a smile on her face again.

"Come here." I called as I opened her window and climbed out onto the angled roof.

Serena followed me out and laid down next to me, and I put my arm around her. I started playing "wouldn't it be nice" by the beach boys as we stared into the stars together. It seemed like only minutes passed, but really it was hours. It was soon midnight, and I needed to get home.

"Serena... I have to go." I told her.

She nodded and pulled me into one last passionate kiss. She waved goodbye as I climbed down the roof. This would be a long few days until thanksgiving.
