Ash's P.O.V.

A loud bark from Diesel Was how I was awoken. By now I know when Diesel calls me in the morning, I have two options. Get up and feed him, or be attacked. I chose the former most days.

"I'm going ya mut!" I called as I fed him. After, I went back upstairs.

     After that I check my phone and see I have a text from Serena. I was really happy, considering all week the only person texting me was Meitte. She gets very agitating.

The message read "Hey ash! Bored out of my mind. Wanna do something?"

I got even happier. I had no idea what was around here though, so I decided to ask her what she wanted to do.

"Sure, what do you want to do?" I ask.

She responds "whatever you want" as my stomach grumbles loud. I look over to the clock and see I woke up VERY late. I guess that's what I get for staying up till 5 am on wattpad.

I decide I need something to eat so I ask "I'm hungry, pizza?"

     She says yes, so I rush to my closet to change. I brush my teeth and run water through my hair. I run down stairs and talk to my mom.

"Hey mom! In going out with Serena!" Just as I yelled that I knew I messed up. She would not leave me alone for this, probably worse then Gary.

"What?!? I thought I was clear about NO DATING!" She instigated me.

"No mom, it's not like that!" I defended myself

     I rush out the door and down the street to Serena's house. I see Calem at his house next door, watering the plants. I wave to him and he waves back with a big smile. Then when I approach Serena's door his smile drops. He keeps looking at me, but I look at the door to Serena's house.

A middle aged woman I presumed to be her mother opened the door. "Hello! You must be Ash." She greets me with a warm smile. "Serena will be right down!" She said.

"Thank you, ma'am." I smiled back to her.

     She closed the door and I sat down on the porch. I looked over to Calem's yard, but he had gone inside.

I hear the door creep open. "Hello Ash!" she said to me.
