Serena's P.O.V.

     As I was staring into his eyes, I finally gave in and looked away, so I gave him a wave and turned to my friends. We continued with our pointless chatting about summer and our plans for this year. I was only pretending to be interested. I kept finding myself thinking about that kid, Ash.

My thoughts were cut short though by the ring of the bell. I checked my schedule for first period, and I had "Home ec" with professor oak.

Yet again my thoughts were interrupted, this time by a voice asking "Hey! Does anyone else have Home ec with professor Oak first period?"

     I turned to see ash. I got a little giddy to hear we had the same class. Before I could say anything May chimed in, and after her, Calem.

After the two had told him they had the class I said "me three!" And ash got a small grin across his face. I started blushing a little bit, but I didn't know why. I had only just met this kid but he was filling my head with strange thoughts and my heart with strange feelings.

"Okay, I'll just follow you all then!" Replied ash as we continued through the halls.

    After a few minutes of walking we came upon the class in the science wing. We all lined up on the wall and awaited the professors commands.

Another minute passed, and the final bell rang. The professor came in and gave us a speech.

"Good morning class, I am professor Oak. I will be teaching you all about how to properly care for yourselves and your household. I hope we can have some good times in my class, and maybe a little learning along the way."

The class let out a small chuckle.

"Now, let's get ourselves situated. First off is seating. I don't care where you sit, as long as you are productive and do not disturb class."

The class all looked around and started picking partners. Before I could ask May to sit with me, she had already grouped up with Calem. I guess she may have a thing for him.

Before I realized it, most of the people had already partnered up, so I was getting nervous. I started scanning the room, and I saw ash moving towards me.

"Uhh h-hey Serena... I was wondering if you would wanna sit together? I really don't know a lot of people here."

     Why would he want to sit with me? We just barely met. Maybe he saw I didn't have anyone and felt bad for me? I didn't really care, I needed a parter anyway so why not?

     "Uhh S-sure Ash."

     I saw his face light up when I said yes. I was sure I had a blush going on, but I didn't really care.

     We sat down and the professor went over some rules and stuff. I found myself looking at Ash from time to time. I couldn't place why I did it, but my body just did it.

     As the class came to a close, we all hurried out of the class. I peeked at my schedule and saw my next class was "Gym class with alder"

    I started making my way down the halls when Ash's voice came from my left side.

"Hey Serena! Do you know where gym class is? I can't wait to get there!" He almost squealed this out like a little school girl. He was pretty pumped about anything to do with battling.

I let out a little giggle and replied "yea, I do! I have it next as well!"

I was happy to have another class with Ash, and I'd have the chance to see him battle.
