Ash's Pov

     I woke up today to a great Christmas present. All of the monitors and ivs were taken out, but I still have to stay here for a mental evaluation tommorow. I also woke up to see Serena smiling at me from her chair in the corner. Even my mom went home at night, but Serena refused to leave me.

     The only thing different about today was the atmosphere. Everyone was happy, and I also got a special meal. It was decent, turkey and everything else you'd expect from Christmas dinner. It was still hospital food though.

     I was told I'm getting out tommorow too. I can't wait to get out of this dump, and actually enjoy my break. A majority will be spent at Serena's house, because Grace is much more accepting of us. Things between my mom and I still aren't the same. We get along now, but she doesn't approve of me doing anything with Serena.  Not that kind of doing things, but she's really judge mental.

     Serena made me promise we don't have to go to my house to hang out. She says she wants to be close friends with my mom one day, but I don't see that happening. I'm okay with not going to my house though. I want Serena to be happy.

     Once I get out I have so much planned for me and Serena. I've had a lot of time to think about all the things we can do. Snowboarding, ice skating, building a snowman, and my personal favorite, snuggling up with some hot coco and watching movies. That's the life.
