Serena's P.O.V.

      As the bus pulled up to the school the thoughts of what this year would be filled my head. Would I have good teachers? Bad teachers? Would we make new friends or not? But even through all of my worries I couldn't shake the feeling that it would be a good year. That's kind of unusual to me, I'm used to just having all my anxieties pour out.

We all hopped off the bus and made our way to our usual hangout spot, a big maple tree outside the school. For a few minutes we just stood there and talked. Then, another group of kids came and greeted us. It was our other friends that didn't ride the same bus.

"Well how is everyone!" May yelled out while running over and getting all of the girls in a group hug. Misty stayed out, she wasn't for all of the girly stuff.

When we broke apart I turned to see Gary and Kenny talking to some other boy I've never met before. He had raven black spiky hair. He wore a blue jacket and grey cargo pants. He had red and black high tops, and he had a red and white cap on.

I was just looking at him, I don't know why. Then he looked over at me while Gary pointed to me, probably telling him our names. My mind was telling me to look away from him because I seemed creepy to stare, but my body wouldn't let me. Dawn walked up to me and told me his name.

"Ash."
