Serena's Pov

     After the long journey from home, we finally reached the sinnoh region! Pretty much all of my family was from here, so we are all meeting up for my grandpas 75th birthday. It's sucks that Ash couldn't come, but at least I get to see my cousins.

     More importantly, there was food. Lots of food. The first thing I did when I got there was run to the line to get a plate, but I was cut in line by my older cousin Kevin.

"Kevin! I was here first!" I screamed at him.

"Well I live here, so I get to go first." Kevin joked.

     I playfully ran at him to beat him up, and I heard some guy laughing.

"Shut up Alain! This shit hurts!" Kevin yelled at him.

     I stopped beating him up and got back in line, and he and that Alain kid followed.

"Hey Serena, if your done beating me up now is like you to meet Alain, he lives here too." Alain reached out his hand.

     I shook his hand and introduced myself, but he kept his hand on mine a little to long, And it got creepy.

"I'm Serena, Kevin's younger cousin." I told him while pulling away my hand.

"Ah, I've heard a lot about you..." he smirked at me.

     He was dressed in all black with a blue scarf on. He had a smug look on his face, and his hair almost covered his eyes.

"So, what is going on here?" I asked them.

"Well, all the cousins are up in the attic if you wanna see them."

"Yea!" I ran up the stairs. I couldn't wait to see my little cousin Alice.

"Hey guys!" I yelled out to all my cousins. There were eight in all, counting me and Kevin.

     There was the youngest, Mary who was only a toddler, Todd who was only a few months older than her, Alice, who was only a few months younger than me, and Denise who was a few years older than me, and then kevin who was older than me by a year, but younger than Denise.

     They all said their hello, and I ran and hugged Alice. It had been a few years since I saw her last, so I was really excited.

"Alice!!!" I squeezed her tight. She was one of my best friends from when I lived here.

"Serena!!!" She squeezed back.

"Kevin!!!" My cousin yelled as a joke.

"Oh come on, we haven't seen each other in forever!" Alice told him off.

"Hey, you guys want to go to my room?" Kevin asked.

"Sure, we won't have to worry about the little ones then." I told them.

"Have fun Denise!" We yelled to her, leaving her alone with the kids.

"You sons of bi-" we closed the door before she could finish.

      In Kevin's room, we played his video games and talked all about our lives recently.

"Well, I have a boyfriend of about six months now." I told Alice.

"Awwww I'm so jealous! My relationships never seem to work out." Alice told me.

     We talked about our loves lives for awhile while the boys played video games, until we all heard Kevin's stomach rumble, and shortly after Alice's. They both headed downstairs leaving me and Alain alone.

"So Serena... what do you like to do?" He asked me.

"Uhh... I'm really into Pokémon showcases and performing." I told him.

"I love those! What Pokémon do you have?" He asked.

"Fenniken, but I couldn't bring her on the plane, so I left her at home with a friend."

"So... do you have anyone special in your life?" He asked me. I was shocked he would be so forward.

"Yea, I have a boyfriend named Ash. We've been together for about six months." I told him strictly.

"Oh, what did he get you for your six month?" It was like I was taking a quiz.

"Uh, we didn't celebrate it."

"What?!? A girl as beautiful as you and your boyfriend didn't care enough to celebrate six months?" He was digging in deep.

"We had other things going on." I told him.

"Well-" and he was cut off by Kevin and Alice bursting through the door with food.

      This was going to be a long weekend in sinnoh.

      Hey guys! So I know it's been while since I updated but I hope I made up for it in this chapter. It's longer than usual for this story, and I think it's definately going in the right direction. By the way, who do you guys think Cilian likes? And what do you think of Alain so far?

      Also the new project I've been talking about for so long has been published! I'm not going to give anything away but I really hope you all take the time to check it out. Thanks again!
