Aura pov
The sun rose early the next day. I woke with the blinding light in my eyes. I blinked several times to get my focus, then yawned and stretched. I looked to the other, who were sleeping and a soft smile came across my face. I decided not wake them. They needed rest.

I sat where I was, my knees up to my chest. As I stared at the sun something made me look at my necklace. While staring at it I closed my eyes and remember something of my past.
-flashback-
"Blue." A lucario that was holding a small white riolu in her arms spoke to another. The other lucario looked to her. "Yes, topaz?" He asked her. "Do you think what arceus told us will come true? Could our daughters life be in danger?" The lucario known as topaz asked.

Blue sighed. "I'm not sure." He admitted to her. He watched as his wife took her necklace off. "Remember when you gave this to me?" She asked as she put the necklace on the little riolu. "Yes, I do. He answered. "It's said you can see the past. Anyone's past with that gem." She gave a smile and stared at her little riolu. "My little aura." She happily said.

The castle then shook. "What's going on?!" She asked alarmed. "The kingdom is being attacked sir." A guard came in with panic in his voice. Blue followed the guard outside and stopped in surprise when he seen the battle that was going on. Up above him a large rock flew into the side of the castle, just as topaz came running out.

"Queen Topaz king Blue go and get somewhere safe with your daughter." The one guard said and ran off to fight. The two lucarios ran away to be safe. Little did they know someone was after them and this day will conceal their fate.

My eyes shot open. I didn't want to see what was going to happen next. I already knew. "This gem can show anyone's past." I said to myself and thought of the pokemon who I wanted to see the past of. I thought of my friends and one by one their past came to me.

When I was done seeing them I frowned. "They all lost someone or something bad happened in their past." I sighed. I turned and looked behind me as the others woke up. "Morning aura." Flare said to me. "Morning." I replied. "Good morning love." Lucas told me and I got a smile on my face. "Good morning." I told him.

"Where did arceus go?" Kara asked, looking around. "He left last night after you guys fell asleep." I told them, my tone going depressed. "Is something wrong?" I was asked. "No." I replied. Everyone was silent for a while, looking around. "We should go on the move." Someone said. I wasn't paying attention as something caught my sight.

I walked up on a hill that was close to where we were. In the distance I seen a light blue and white castle. I gasped, my eyes widening. "Is that?" Rose asked I awe. "The aura kingdom." I breathe. "My home." I remembered what it looked like from when I seen all those memories.

We walked down the hill toward the aura kingdom. It was strange going back to the place I was born in and only lived at for a shirt time. I walked to the gates of the kingdom with my friends and two guards stood their. Under their mask they were wearing I seen them smile and they let us in.

When walking in all eyes fell on us. All the people of the village of the kingdom were looking at us. There were whispers among everyone. Through the crowd an older guys stood, with a smile on his face. The others stopped without me knowing and I walked up to the elder lucario.

"Princess aura." He said with a laugh in his voice. How dose he know me if I was just a baby then? I wondered to myself. "Princess aura has returned!" He yelled out to the crowd. Cheers erupted from the crowd and something came back to my mind. This wasn't a time for happiness, war would becoming soon.

With me having all powers I teleported me and my friends away from the area. "What was that all about?" Blaze asked me. "The war still lies ahead. If we sussed I'll be ruler of the kingdom like I'm suppose to. There doesn't need to be hope for that when were unsure if we'll even win." I explained to them.

I completely froze as I felt something strange. I felt a dark aura just outside the kingdom. Nemesis was here and I had to do something. I remember hearing at a time I had to stand alone if I want to save lucas. That's exactly what I'm going to do. I turned to the others from having my back turned to them and spoke. "We may be the eight, but I must leave you all now." I closed my eyes and teleported outside the kingdom.

I looked around the area outside the kingdom. I couldn't see anything or anyone, but I could sense it. "Show yourself!" I ordered and I heard a menacing laugh. "I see you came alone aura. Your trying to protect your boyfriend aren't you." His voice said with a growl.

"Leave him out of it! Leave them all out of it!" I yelled at him. "Fine if you want to be alone, then let's fight alone." He said and charged at me with a dark sword. I jumped back out of the way and blasted and aura sphere at him. The aura sphere was blocked by the sword.

Once more he had charged at me with the sword and I kicked it out of his hands. He smirked like he wanted me to do that. He moved his hand quickly in front of him and dark shards came out from it. I created a blame ball in front of me and it burned all the shards.

I froze him with my ice power. I smirked thinking it worked, but all the sudden the ice broke. He laughed, then spoke. "Your a formidable foe, but your not as powerful as you think. You shouldn't have left your friends." He put his hand out in front of him and purple glowed around his hand.

All the sudden I couldn't breathe. He was using dark magic to cut off my oxygen. I tried to get air, but I was failing, then out of nowhere a blue sphere came and hit nemesis. This stopped the power that was cutting my air off and I began gasping for air. "Aura you okay?" I heard the familiar voice of flare ask and seen her at my side

"Why.. did... you... come? How... did you... know where.. I was?" I asked, still gasping for air. "Lucas could sense the aura. We knew it was time for the final battle, so we had to come. The eight of us stick together." She replied and I smiled, happy to know they'll stick by my side even though I don't want them hurt.

"Looks like they came after all." Nemesis said, a big grin on his face and his eyes glowed a bright red. "I brought others with me too." From the ground a dark matter like substance was rising. One by one it formed dark matter legendary pokemon. Mew, mewtwo, groundon, kyogre, rayquaza, the rigis, heatran, yveltal, xerxeas, azelf, uxie, mesprit, victini, celebi, manaphy, phonie, shaymin, jiratchi, darkrai, cresselia, keldeo, terrikan, cobain, Verizon, the genesect army, moltres, zapdos, articuno, reshiram, zekrom, kyrume, lugia ho-oh, latios, latais, entie, suicune, rakiu deoxys, meloletta, dialga, palkia, Garatina, and arceus. All the legendary were their in dark matter, evil.

I looked to the others and gave a nod. We all tried going to a different pokemon. Blaze went to heatran, flare went to deoxys, rose tried ho-oh, blade tried, lugia, kara tried reshiram, night tried zekrom, lucas tried latios, and I took latais. This failed, with there being so many pokemon we'd get hit by other we weren't fighting

"How are we suppose to do this?" Blade asked as he fell to the ground from the hit, just like the rest of us. This time I didn't even have an answer for him. All the sudden, just as things looked bad a golden light hit one of the pokemon, then a dark blue beam came, shadow orbs, and several other attacks.

I looked to the sky with the others and gasped. "Arceus, dialga, darkrai, all the legendaries had come. They came to the ground and stood or floated at our sides. "Looks like your not truly alone. It looks like the pokemon I took power from to create these have come to help." Nemesis said in his dark, cruel voice.

"Attack!" He ordered to his dark clones. "Go!" I yelled to everyone and we faced off in battle.

Normal pov
It was mayhem everywhere as legendary power collided. Blaze had taken on the clone of darkrai along with darkrai. Blaze shot lava orbs at the clone, making it lose focus, then darkrai used dark void. The clone regained focus just in time. The clone dodged and hit both of them with a shadow orb.

Blaze began attacking with fire punches and kicks. Darkrai had blasted his clone with a beam and injured it greatly. Blaze seen a chance and trapped it in a lava dome. The clone had broken out of the dome and trapped both blaze and in a dark magic like net.

Flare had been fighting with dark mewtwo and had mewtwo also known as faith helping her out. She used magical storm and faith used something like a lightning attack she had. Mewtwo was damaged, but blasted the two with and energy tornado.

Flare had gotten up as faith did. "Try your most powerful attack." She told faith and the mewtwo nodded. They both used their most powerful attacks at the same time and the clone dissolved into the matter it was before and sunk into the ground.

Latios and latais had come up behind the two, before they had any time to react the two legendary clones trapped them within a magical orb. Both of them tried breaking out, but they failed. The two legendary clones flew away to take down someone else.

Rose was fighting with entie as entie helped her and suicune and raiku kept their clones back and down. The clone of entie shot fire at them and they moved out of the way. The original entie lunged at it's clone and swiped at it with fire claws. When he knocked his clone down rose used her petal tornado to do more damage.

The entie clone dissolved into the matter it originally was. They turned to fight the other clones and gasped in surprise when they seen raiku and suicune down. The clones of those two pokemon came toward them and used a beam of electricity and a beam of water, mixed together. The attack electrocuted rose and entie. Entie got back up from the attack only to be hit again and severely injured.

Rose tried getting up, but she couldn't muster enough strength. She looked around for any of her friends, but seen none through the chaos of war. She rested herself on the ground, feeling terribly weak. "Be careful everyone, good luck." Her words came lightly to the surroundings.

Blade had been surrounded by several of the clones. Latios and latais came and blasted the clones away. "We got your back." Latais said and blasted back victini clone. Blade slashed at celebi clone as latios did an attack on jirachi.

The clone of lugia came over and used a whirlpool attack. He knocked blade down and latios and latais back. They got the balance of their flight back and blade got up with a stumble. Before the three pokemon could react the victini, jiratchi, manaphy, shaymin, phonie, celibi, and lugia clones all used a power and they fell to the ground.

Latios and latais laid motionless, but blade struggled to get up. His arms collapsed below his weight as he tried pushing himself up. He looked around him seeing war. He never thought anything like this would happen, even when he knew battle was coming. This happened to mostly all the others. One by one they were trapped or injured, even the legendaries.

Aura had been separated from the others, just like them. She wanted to stay as close as she could to lucas, knowing this battle is suppose to claim his life. She gave up on trying to find him trough the chaos of the battle and fought along side arceus.

Lucas hadn't gotten so luck. After fighting several legendaries nemesis had come to him. "It seems aura has found something else to care about, you. Just like her parents you will fall and she'll never have any love. Pity for you she has to love you, or you could live." Nemesis said approaching lucas.

"Back off! End this battle now!" Lucas ordered. "Don't order me to do things." Nemesis said, warning in his voice. "I don't care what happens to me, but why make aura have no love?" Lucas asked, enraged. "It's what her parents did and because she stands in my way! If I destroy enough things she cares about she'll know never to get in my way!" He yells at lucas.

Aura had left arceus to find nemesis or her friends when arceus told her. She caught sight of lucas and nemesis. "Say goodbye forever lucas." Nemesis said, shooting black shards at lucas. Aura gasped at what she seen, but noticed nothing hit lucas. Around her the war had picked up and she lost sight of lucas, but didn't lose sight of nemesis.

She jumped in front of him. "Let's end this war here and now!" Aura screamed at him. "Gladly." He said, smirking. He used dark void, a power darkrai could use. Aura used bone rush to protect herself from being attacked. Aura used aura storm, hitting him, but doing no damage. She gasped in surprise and was hit by a dragon attack he obtained from rayquaza.

Aura shocked him with lightning, but it once again did no damage. She tried to shield an attack of palkias that came from nemesis, but it didn't work. She was hit by the attack and fell to the ground. She stumbled up, finding her strength and used her most powerful attack. Aura, stood in shock when she seen it didn't hurt him.

Nemesis used the strongest power of arceus and hit her. She fell to the ground and barely moved. She looked at her surroundings, every pokemon on her side was injured and unable to fight anymore, even the legendaries. "Give up aura. I've won this battle. Face it your nothing special. You led your friends into a battle only to fall. They never stood by your side. Your not the one important one." He told her in his foul voice.

She stared at everyone as she spoke, memories of the adventure her and her friends had came back to her. "No, your wrong, they stood by my side the whole time and they still are!" She said with a growl. "Your right about one thing." She looked to him. She had begun to glow a light blue and regained her strength.

"I'm not the one, but together the eight of us are." She stood up and faced him. "Over this time, in this adventure I have gained power from each one of them slowly, but not the kind you think. I gained, hope, courage, faith, kindness, the will to never give up, happiness, and most importantly, love. I've gained every one of those great powers, not alone, but as one with my friends." A light blue light engulfed her, until she was barely visible.

"Our fate is our destiny, but our destiny is not our fate. We will choose that path when the time is right." The light faded away and she was a mega lucario. Around her black marks aura corsed through them. "But today I will close your fate. You had a choice for a fate and this is what you chose." A large aura blast came from her paws and blasted nemesis.

Aura pov
I had blasted the whole land in front of me with this newfound power. When my blast went away she didn't see nemesis any where. I had destroyed him with everything my friends had given me. The clones faded away one by one as light blue aura mist floated around and hit them.

This aura mist came to my friends and one by one they stood, regaining balance. I smiled, happily as it did the same to the legendaries and they all stood. My friends came to hum me. "You did it!" Flare cheered. When I hugged them all I noticed one was missing.

My gaze swept upon the once wonderful land, now a barren wasteland. Everything was destroyed, then one thing had caught my eye. On the ground a small distance away something red laid. My eyes widened in horror. "Lucas." I gasped.
