The Bright, glaring sun shon through the windows of the airport as a plane was due to take off in a few minutes. A young girl , age of 16 was running in a hurry, hair in pigtails and in a slight mess as she dragged her suitcase with her "crud! I'm gonna miss my flight!" She exclaims to herself as she gets to the ticket counter at the front, and buys herself a seat "phew! Made it!" She smiles proudly. 

As she made her way to the plane, the news broadcast was playing in the background as Rosè, the PFG owner was speaking.

 "The day you've all been waiting for has Arrived! At last, i'm proud to announce the commencement of the Pokèmon figure game world championships! And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is the grand prize: the glorious Jewel Tower in all it's splendor,"

 an image of the jewel tower appears on screen 

(The tallest one that's bright blue on the far left that has clouds above it if you haven't played the game before)

 "Today, Carmonte Island welcomes the cream of the PFG crop. Of you elite players, only one will prevail victorious"

And, as it ended... The newscasters took over 

"The PFG world championships are now officially underway! This concludes our broadcast from carmonte island"

 ------------------------------ Time break ----------------------------

Emily's POV:

Tiredness, it was all i felt at the time as i sat in the plane seat, leaning my head against the window watching clouds pass by as me and the passengers were flying to Carmonte Island. As i was about to shut my eyes to get some sleep, i saw a boy with blue hair, who was pretty well dressed for a guy, walk up to the seat next to mine.

"D...37, This looks like my seat, nice to meet you, neighbor" he greeted as he sat down next to me, i just stayed quiet and didn't reply.

We sat in silence as others talked around us, until the well dressed boy broke the silence.

"...You must be here for the Pokémon figure game world championships too, am i right?" He asks curiously, a smile still on his face.

I sighed a bit to myself and i answered, trying not to give away how tired i was, since i had to rush from 3am to get to the airport since it was so far away.

Luca's POV:

"I sure am, what's your name?" 

The girl i sat next to replied, though i could tell she sounded tired.

"Sorry if i caught you off guard there. My name's luca, i'm pleased to meet you. Anyway, i hope i didn't startle you!" I say, slightly nervous. But the girl i sat next to just laughed with a smile on her face, despite her tiredness.

"it's fine, really. I just didn't think anyone would sit next to me on this plane....it's nice...I'm Emily, nice to meet you too luca" she replies again.

Again, we sat in silence until i decided to break it once more, looking up at the far ceiling.

"Can you Believe we have the chance to actually WIN that skyscraper?, " i look to her smiling "Say, How long have you been playing  PFG?" 

" it's my first time! "

Now, that reply caught me off guard,

"Your first....HUH?! ....Unless, you HAVE played before,right?! "

she just shakes her head no, and laughes at my weirdness, i look at her with surprise.

 "No kidding! Entering a tournament for something you've never even....You're brave, i'll give you that."

 Emily's POV:

I laughes again, i hadn't laughed that much in a long time. Though there was nervousness at the pit of my stomach, as i had NO clue how to play PFG at all until...

"Don't worry, i'll teach you the ropes quick enough, you're lucky you ran into me!... Ah but looks like we're almost at the Carmonte Island. Once you've picked up your gear, come and find me"

i smiled before i started feeling tired again, as my eyes closed i didn't notice i'd leaned onto luca's shoulder...but i didn't care at that moment...all i cared about was getting sleep, letting darkness take over my sight.

Luca's POV:

"Look-----that's Carmonte island over there!" I exclaimed smiling, looking out of the plane window to see an overlook of the hotels we'd be competing at for the tounament.

I felt a heaviness on my shoulder as i'd said that, i looked to my side to see Emily, fast asleep. 

My face started to heat up badly 'Why the heck am i blushing!? I Just met her....but it feels like i've known her for a lifeti-NO! no luca, heck no!..Oh arceus this is embaressng!' I look over to her and see she's smiling whilst asleep but a bit of hair fell over her eyes, i brushed it out of the way as gently as i could '.....is this love at first sight though?'

As i was thinking to myself, she curled up a bit and snuggled up to me, my face turned red as she did but it lessened as i smiled and took a blanket from my bag and covered her with it. I rested my head on the seat, slowly falling to sleep myself, i didn't care what happened next....somehow, i felt that i'd be seeing alot more of Emily in the future.

 But for now, i just want this moment to last a lifetime longer....
