Episode 3: First Step Into Leuge.
Sawyer and Ellie vs Brock

Ellie and Sawyer finally reached Pewter city. They are prepared for the gym challange but being prepared and conquering the gym are different things. Can they defeat Brock and enter the challange?

Ellie and Sawyer entered the gym after 1 day of preparation. They saw Brock, the gym leader of Pewter City, and known as Rock-solid Pokemon trainer. "Greetings, trainers." He called to trainers. "If you want a double battle, you both can figth against me for a badge. i will explain the rules later." Ellie and Sawyer accepted the challange. They entered the gym and stood on their stands. the referee came and started to announce. "This is a battle for boulder badge between Gym leader Brock and the challangers; Ellizabeth Palmer and Sawyer Oak. The chalangers can use only one pokemon while Gym Leader can use 2 pokemon. Challangers, send your Pokemons." Sawyer sent out Ivy and Ellie sent Spark. Brock sent his Geodude and Onix. The flames of battle rises again

Ellie called the first move "Iron tail!" Sparks tail surrounded with white energy and ran to bigger threat. Brock quickly called his pokemons moves "Onix use Bulldoze, Geodude, use rock tomb." Geodude created some rocks and jumped on one of them meanwhile onix created a quake to slow Pikachu and Ivysaur down then Geodude threw the rock tomb to slow their pokemons even more. "Use the rocks, Spark." Ellie quickly called. She understood what she meant and using iron tail, she resend some of the rocks to geodude. while he was in rocks Sawyer entered "Remember that you aren't alone Ellie; Ivy, go with vine whip." Ivy drew some vine and slapped to geodude. This made Geodude fainted. The referee called "Geodude is unable to battle." They continued to command their pokemons. "Onix use buldose, then use rock tomb." Onix used buldose to unbalance Spark and Ivy Then created some rocks to burry them. "Spark, use quick attack and iron tail" She created white energy and started to run fast. in same time, her tail surrounded with steely gray energy. Brock was surpised Ellie quickly created a combo move Sawyer ordered Ivy to counter rock tomb with vine whip. Ivy used her vines as whip to block the rocks while Spark dodged all of them. Then, Spark slammed her iron tail to Onix. Onix stopped Rock tomb due to impact. Sawyer saw this opening and quickly called. "Ivy finish with vine whip."Ivy quickly finished Onix with her vines. two suer effective attacks were more than enough for onix and he fainted like geodude. The referee called "Onix is unable to figth. Gym leader Brock's all pokemons fainted so the winners are challangers, Ellizabeth Palmer and Sawyer Oak." Brock came and Congragulate them for their victory "well kids, you two did really well." He took 2 gray badges from his pocket. "Those are known as Boulder Badge. This will show everyone you are a leuge challanger who shouldnt be taken ligthly." They started to walk to pokemon centre to heal their pokemons. while their pokemons were healing, Brock gave them advice for next gym. "From here, you can reach 2 cities with gyms. Viridian city and Celurean city. Viridian gym's leader, Giovanni Balore, is stands for 'final leader' before victory road. so the place you need to go is west, to mt. moon and Celurean city. Remeber that only gym leaders, pokemarts and pokemon centers will be friendly to you after this point." Thank you Brock, this will help us to survive." Sawyer added before they heard nurse Joy's announsement. "Brock Pewter, Ellizabeth Palmer and Sawyer Oak, please take your pokemons from the desk." They went to take their pokeballs. Brock said goodbye to them before he went to his house.

While Brock goes to his house, our heroes went to their room and rest before the next adventure which may contain everything. For now, they need to rest until the next adventure

this episode was short because it was considered to be short episode with fast phased battle unlike most battles in anime.
