AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Hello, my readers and welcome to chapter seven of Alpha and Omega. I only have one thing to say, if any of you are talented in drawing and would like to help me, please message me directly. I am planning something and I need at least two pieces I would like made for it. I've looked online but can't find anything that I'm satisfied with. My plan is to say what I want in a private message to those who contact me, then whoever creation I like best will be my first stop for any future works I need for this story.

Morning came as it usually did for Delia, she woke up at seven A.M. on her own without an alarm clock, and went to the bathroom to wash up. After getting dressed she released Mimey from his Pokeball and they began to make their way to the kitchen. As they walked down the hall to the stairs they passed by the guest bedroom, where Serena had been sleeping. The door was opened so she glanced in, the bed was still made and the fresh towels she placed on the bed from the night before were still there all untouched.

Delia urgently went to Ash's room, as it was clear that Serena didn't sleep in her bed last night. Delia opened the door to Ash's room to see the same thing, the bed was made and freshly folded clean laundry was still on top of it, making it clear Ash didn't sleep in his bed last night either.

"It's ok Delia, didn't worry. It probably just got really late and they decided to just stay at the Pokémon Center last night. And shared a room together, and a bed. AHHHHHHH I'm too young to become a grandmother," Delia thought to herself in a panic.

Delia rushed downstairs, and as she reached the bottom she saw the bags by the door, causing Delia began to feel a little relieved. Then she looked at the couch and felt much better, as she saw Ash and Serena asleep on the couch, fully clothed.

"Oh they just look so cute like this," Delia whispered to Mimey, who only nodded back in agreement.

Serena was laying on top of Ash with her head on his chest, while Ash had both arms wrapped around her.

Delia then decided to whip out her cell phone and took a picture of them. Mimey then used psychic to place a blanket of them, right before he and Delia went into the kitchen to make breakfast.

Serena groggily woke up, she lifted her head and tried to look around, but stopped as she saw Ash's sleeping face. She then realized his arms wrapped around her, holding her close. Serena smiled and lowered her head back down onto his chest. Just then Serena felt a hand stroke her head.

"Good morning beautiful," said Ash.

Serena lifted her head back up, then leaned in as they shared a tender kiss.

"How long have you been awake," Serena asked.

"Maybe ten minutes. I was liking this position too much so I didn't want to wake you," Ash replied.

"Me too," Serena said as she laid her head back down on Ash's chest.

"I like you two in that position too," Delia said.

Serena quickly rolled off of Ash as he sat up, both of them shocked by Delia announcing her presence.

"I liked it so much I made it the background for my phone," Delia teased as she showed Ash and Serena her phone.

Ash and Serena were blushing bright red with embarrassment.

"Now that you're awake, why don't you two come into the kitchen for breakfast," Delia suggested as she turned around and headed back into the kitchen.

Ash and Serena followed Delia into the kitchen and proceeded to eat breakfast. As they ate they explained to Delia when exactly they were leaving, to which she offered to drive them to the airport, and they accepted. They also explained their plan for the next few days, which was Serena working on a new performance routine for the first showcase, and Ash working with his other Pokémon on learning the movements for Z-moves and trying to train Fearow. They then finished eating, cleaned themselves up, and left for Professor Oak's lab.

Once they arrived at the lab their Pokémon they left there were happy to see them, but not worried as Ash had called and let them know they weren't coming back that day. Serena was pleased to see that Sylveon appear to be just fine, although after she saw how close Pikachu was staying to her Serena was pretty sure why.

Ash had called up his Pokémon to welcome Pidgeot back, and congratulate Dewott on evolving. Ash watched them and was happy to see Bayleef was there and looked happy, and to his surprise had one of her vines intertwined with one of Ivysaur's.

"Ok guys, I want you all to spread out. I captured a new Pokémon yesterday, and he's very aggressive, so I don't want him to feel threatened," Ash explained.

The Pokémon nodded and moved back. Only Pidgeot and Pikachu stood by Ash. Serena and her Pokémon, along with Professor Oak, Gary, and Tracy stood off to the side. Ash placed a bowl filled with flying type Pokémon food out in the grass between them all and about ten feet away from him. Everyone was nervous as to how the Pokémon would be as Ash pulled the pokeball off of his belt.

"Ok Fearow, come on out," Ash said as he threw the red and white ball.

Fearow emerged from the pokeball, he stood on the ground with his head down and eyes closed. It wasn't certain if he was asleep, but within seconds his eyes shot open. He raised his head and stretched his wings. After putting his wings back by his side he looked around, examining his surroundings. He saw all the Pokémon around him, all watching him very carefully as they waited to see what he would do. He saw Serena and the others, glaring at them angrily. Then his eyes landed on Ash, his pupils dilated and he shot towards Ash at full speed as he cried out in a terrifying rage. Ash's Pokémon all quickly prepared to launch attacks to protect him, but stopped when they saw Kommo-o tackle Fearow to the ground then holding him facing up as he roared in Fearow's face.

Kommo-o was a warrior, and trained almost constantly to be ready to fight evil. He didn't only train to become physically stronger, but also trained to read his opponents. He saw the small details of Fearow's muscles tensing and pupils dilating, that told him Fearow was about to attack, allowing him to react before any others could. Kommo-o saw Ash was a hero that faced the darkness without fear, making him a worthy trainer deserving of his loyalty, so he would not allow any foe to hurt him, even if it was one of Ash's own Pokémon.

"Kommo-o don't hurt him," Ash said as he ran forward, picking up the food as he came.

"Thank you for protecting me. You can let him go now," Ash said to Kommo-o.

Kommo-o looked at Ash uncertain, but did as he was told. Fearow slowly got to his feet, never taking his eyes off of Ash.

"Listen Fearow, I know we have a rough past. I was stupid back when we first met, so I get why you attacked me back then. But I'm a better trainer now, so how about you give me a chance to show you," Ash said to Fearow.

Ash was holding out the bowl of food as a kind of peace offering. Fearow looked down at the bowl of food Ash was holding, then back at Ash. While continuing to not take his eyes off of Ash he lowered his head and took a piece of food into his beak and began to chew. Ash smiled and everyone relaxed as they saw Fearow take another piece, thinking Ash got through to him, just like Fearow planned. Fearow looked as though he was going to another piece of food, but quickly shot his head forward and bit Ash's hand.

"Ahh," Ash yelled as he was bit.

Both Ash and Fearow's eyes locked, as Ash's  eyes began to glow blue, and Fearow's did the same just a split second later.

Ash felt weird, it was all dark. Suddenly there was a flash of light and he saw he was in a forest, looking up at a young boy, maybe ten or eleven years old. He couldn't understand why, but seeing the boy made him feel happy just to see him.

"You are too weak to be part of my team, so I'm releasing you," the boy said.

Ash knew what he meant, but for some reason he felt like he didn't. He felt as if his arms stretched out and began flapping as he felt as though he flew to the boy and began to rub his head on the boys leg. The boy pulled away his leg then kicked him. Ash cried out in pain, but it wasn't his voice, it was the cry of a Spearow.

"Don't you get it? Are you stupid and weak? Let me dumb it down for you you stupid Pokémon. I don't want you anymore, go away," the boy said angrily.

Ash felt as though his heart was ripped out. He tried to beg for a second chance as tears began to flow from his eyes, but all he heard were the screeches of a Spearow. The boy turned around and began to walk away as Ash called out to him. The boy turned around with an angry look.

"You just don't get it do you? Fine then, Charmeleon Flamethrower!" The boy yelled as he threw a Pokeball into the air.

A Charmeleon emerged and opened his mouth releasing a powerful stream of fire. Ash screamed in pain from the flames as his vision went black.

Ash felt himself being thrown back as his vision returned. He saw Kommo-o standing over Fearow as he held him down, clearly about to fire dragon pulse at close range.

"KOMMO-O STOP!" Ash yelled.

Kommo-o aborted the attack and looked back at Ash confused.

"Ash!" Serena cried as she arrived by his side, everyone else was also arriving. "Oh no, your bleeding. Gary get a first aid kit."

Gary ran off to the lab to get the first aid kit.

"Ash are you ok?" Serena asked frantically.

"I'm fine," Ash replied.

"Ash I think you need a new plan, or I know you won't like it, but perhaps you need to abandon your hopes of training this Fearow," said Professor Oak in a concerned tone.

"No. I won't abandon him, he's had enough of that in his life," Ash replies.

"What do you mean?" Asked Serena.

But Ash didn't answer, as he stood up and began walking towards Fearow, who was being held down by Kimmo-o. He wasn't fighting back, he was just laying there as he stared at Ash with a bewildered look. Ash arrived at Fearow and knelt down by his head.

"Kommo-o, you can let him go," Ash said.

Kommo-o couldn't understand why Ash was trying this again, but listened, keeping his eyes focused on Fearow as he kept ready to beat him senseless if he hurt Ash again.

"I'm not your first trainer am I?" Ash asked.

Slowly Fearow nodded, showing Ash was correct.

"Those were your memories I saw. That Spearow that was abandoned, that loved their trainer so much, was you," Ash stated sorrowfully.

Fearow nodded as tears began to flow from his eyes by having to relive the memories.

"Now I get it, why you hate me. First, your trainer abandoned you because he felt you were weak. Then sometime later I threw a rock and hit your head, not even trying to capture you. You got angry and wanted to show me, show everyone you weren't weak. You became so powerful and attacked other trainers to show them your strength. But you just wanted to show him your strength, your first trainer," Ash said.

Everyone was amazed by Ash's explanation and understanding of Fearow. They at first questioned if he was correct, but the expression on Fearow's face made it clear he was.

"Fearow I'm not the same idiot trainer you met years ago, I clearly see your strength, your probably the strongest Fearow I've ever seen. I would love to have you as one of my Pokémon and help you grow even stronger, but I realize I can't force you to give me a chance to prove myself to you," Ash said as he placed Fearow's Pokeball and placed it in front of him. "I'll give you the choice, you can stay with me as part of this family, or you can break your Pokeball and leave as a free Pokémon."

Fearow stared at the Pokeball. "Just one drill peck will destroy it and then I'm free. Just one drill peck, just one. Why am I hesitating? I don't understand what happened, how did he know all that. Something happened, I felt it. It's like he was in my head, but how could he do that, and why do I feel like I can trust him? He's just another trainer, as soon as he's disappointed in me, as soon as I don't meet his expectations he'll get rid of me. Why would I want to put myself through that again? But still, what if he's being honest? What if he's different?" Fearow thought to himself.

It was clear to everyone that Fearow was deep in thought, nobody wanted to rush him, they just had to be patient. After careful consideration Fearow lowered his beak to the Pokeball, and hit it, rolling it to Ash. Ash smiled as he picked it up and reattached it to his belt.

"Thank you for giving me a chance Fearow, you won't be disappointed," Ash said.

Fearow nodded but showed no facial expression. He decided to give Ash a chance that's it, he wasn't his friend. The first time Ash proved that he wasn't any different he was leaving.

"Ash how did you do that? I mean how did you know his past," Tracy said as he stood in amazement.

Ash chuckled nervously as he scratched the back of his head with his good hand while Serena bandaged his other with the first aid kit Gary brought.

"Just a lucky guess," Ash replied.

Tracy and Gary accepted that answer, but Serena knew it had to have something to do with those feeling Ash told her about yesterday before the spearows attacked. Professor Oak also didn't believe the answer, as he had seen another Ketchum do things like that before, but he had no intention to draw any attention to it as he believed it would do more harm than good.

The rest of the day for Ash was teaching his Pokémon the movements needed to perform Z moves, but first was a demonstration. Professor Oak was excited about this, as Gary, Tracy, and himself were able to prepare and get several devices to take reading with. Most of Ash's Pokémon were eager to learn some new moves, but Charizard wasn't. He believed he didn't need to do some silly dance to perform a powerful move. Ash knew this, so he used Incineroar to demonstrate inferno overdrive. After witnessing the power behind the move Charizard decided the movements weren't too silly, and decided to learn the moves.

After the demonstration, Ash and his Alola Pokémon worked with the others on learning the movements. The Alola Pokémon worked on teaching the moves of their specific types, while Ash worked with some of the others on moves the Alola Pokémon couldn't teach.

For Serena, after witnessing Ash's Z move demonstration, she worked with her Pokémon to develop a new performance routine during the first half of the day. While after lunch they worked on piecing the routine together and polishing it.

The day ended and Ash and Serena went back to his house for dinner with his mom, then cuddled up on the couch together to watch a movie. After the movie they kissed each other goodnight and went to bed in their separate rooms. Serena wished they could have just slept together like the night before, but remembered that they were about to be traveling through a whole new region just the two of them, so there would be chances for that later.

The next day was pretty much the same as the previous one, as least it looked that way. Yes Serena was still working on her performance routine, and Ash's Pokémon were working on perfecting their Z poses, but Ash was up to something different. Yesterday he spent part of his time looking for a certain spot in the woods. He found it, and today, with some help from Tracy, and a poliwag, he was putting his plan into action.

It was lunch time now and Serena and her Pokémon had just finished there routine. She was wiping the sweat from her brow as she scanned area for Ash. She saw many of Ash's Pokémon practicing their Z move poses, Pikachu was correcting Talonflame on his poses for the steel type Z move, but no sign of Ash.

"Where is he," Serena thought out loud.

Yesterday they ate lunch together with their Pokémon, so she expected they could do it again today. Serena drank some water then grabbed her phone to call Ash, but just as she was about to press the call button a poliwag jumped up and knocked the phone out of her hand. The phone landed on poliwag's tail, and it ran off.

"Hey get back here with my phone," Serena yelled as she took off after the poliwag.

Her Pokémon just watched as they smiled, knowing what was planned.

Serena chased the poliwag into the woods, calling out to it as she went. She lost sight of it a few times, but the poliwag would just show up again smiling at her then run off again, almost as if it wanted her to chase it. After a few minutes Serena followed it through a bush to see Ash sitting on a blanket under a tree. Poliwag ran up to Ash and dropped Serena's phone in his lap.

"There you are, what are you doing here, and are you the reason poliwag took my phone?" Serena asked upon seeing Ash and poliwag give him the phone.

"Yes I am. I asked this little guy to help me and he agreed," Ash said as he patted the poliwag and gave it a water type Pokémon treat. "I thought it would be nice for us to have a picnic here."

Serena smiled. "That's very sweet Ash, but you could have just invited me and not had poliwag take my phone," Serena said as she walked over.

"True, but then some of the effect would have been lost. Doesn't this spot look familiar?" Ash asked.

Serena look around  but shook her head. "I'm sorry no."

"Maybe from a different angle," Ash said.

He took her hand and brought her to the blanket and sat her down facing the bush. The bush rustled and then suddenly poliwag burst out then ran off.

Serena's eyes became wide in realization as she placed her right hand over her mouth and she started to look around.

"This is it. The spot where we first met," Serena said in shock.

Ash smiled, happy that she remembered.

"That's right. I looked yesterday, and luckily I was able to remember where it was," Ash said as he sat down next to Serena.

Serena looked at Ash as happy tears formed in her eyes. She then tackled Ash to the ground and kissed him passionately.

"This is so romantic, thank you so much for this," Serena said as she broke the kiss.

Ash beamed with happiness that it made Serena so happy to be there. They then enjoyed their picnic date together under the tree. They spoke of their plans for Torrent, as Serena had done a little research into the region.

"Alright, are you sure you've got everything?" Delia asked as she was dropping Ash and Serena off at the airport.

"Yes mom, we have everything," Ash replied.

Tears started to form in Delia's eyes.

"Mom are you ok? You don't usually cry when I leave on a journey," Ash asked concerned.

"I know. It's just seeing you now I can see how much you've grown up. And seeing you doing what you love with the woman you love, I'm just so proud of you, I know your father would be too," Delia said.

Delia then pulled Ash into a hug, then reached one of her arms out to Serena pulled her in too. Delia broke the hug and looked at Ash as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Now Ash you stay safe, and take good care of Serena, she's an amazing girl and your lucky to have her," Delia instructed.

Ash smiled as he put his arm around Serena and pulled her close, "don't worry mom I know, and I will."

"And Serena keep an eye on Ash and try to keep him out of trouble. If he starts not treating you right just let me know and I'll correct him," Delia said.

Serena giggled as Ash hung his head low due to the lack of faith his mom was having in him. Serena saw Ash's expression and came in to give him a kiss on the lips, instantly making him feel better.

Ash and Serena looked at Delia to see her smiling as she took a picture of them kissing with her phone.

"Also Serena, I put something in your bag that I have a feeling you'll need at some point," Delia added.

Serena was curious and placed her backpack on the ground and opened the main part. She saw a plastic grocery sticking out that she didn't put in. She opened the bag to look inside and her face went bright red as she saw the contents, a box of condoms.

"Serena, what is it?" Ash asked.

"NOTHING," Serena replied quickly, clearly embarrassed that her boyfriend's mother bought them condoms.

Serena then closed up the bag and shoved it back into her backpack. Despite being embarrassed by this, she was grateful as she didn't even think about those.

They said their final goodbyes to Delia and walked into the check-in area. Serena pulled out her tablet and put a code into a kiosk, which then dispensed two tickets. They then proceeded through security, and then to their gate, stopping by a fast food restaurant for some ketchup packets for Pikachu along the way. Once at the gate terminal they didn't have long to wait before they started calling sections up.

"Come on Ash they just called our section," Serena said as she handed Ash his ticket.

Ash was surprised by this as he usually had to wait until almost the end before his section was called. However, after he was on board it was made clear why he was able to get on so soon.

"We're flying first class!?" Ash said shocked.

"Yup. Palermo made the reservations, and she believes a Kalos Queen should always have the best. And apparently, Aria being the Kalos Queen has her own private jet," Serena explained.

Ash and Serena took their seats and Serena pulled out her phone, taking a selfie of them and posting it on Pokebook with the caption, "Torrent region here we come."

As Ash and Serena did this they didn't notice three people walk past as they stared at them, with one of them, a woman with long red hair, glaring at them angrily.

"Why do they get first class? A beauty like me deserves to be in first class," she spat angrily.

"Yes I know," the man behind her with blue hair replied in an exhausted tone.

"Hey, wasn't that the twerpet from Kalos with the twerp?" Asked a very short man with brown hair.

"Yes, I think it was. I wonder if they're dating now?" The blue haired man replied.

"Well, who cares! She better not rob me of my chance to become the Torrent Queen," the red-haired woman replied angrily.

"You should care. If they are dating then that means all we have to do is grab her. Then we can exchange her for the twerps Pikachu," said the short man.

"Right, then we can finally present Pikachu to the boss and we'll probably get bonuses," said the red-haired woman evilly.

Everyone took their seats and attached their seatbelts, as the plane took off for the Torrent region.
