This is the first fanfic I'm doing, so I really hope you like it.

It's all about twelve-year-old Ashley Goldstein. At the beginning of this story, it is the morning of her twelfth birthday; this also means that, per tradition, Ashley will be going on her Pokémon journey.

In the Bren Region, Pokémon from the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova regions wander all over the place. The Pokémon professor in the Bren Region, Professor Diane Zuglen, gives new trainers a starter Pokémon from any of these six regions.

Ashley and her best friend Amy Richardson decide to travel together and earn gym badges and ribbons from contests.

Age: 12 years old

Looks: Shoulder length black hair with a bit a bluish tint when the light hits it at about a 90-degree angle. Copper brown eyes. Caucasian.

Height: Five foot, seven inches.

Amy Richardson

Age: 12 years old

Looks: Waist length red hair with a blond highlight, light brown eyes. Caucasian.

Height: Five foot, seven inches.

Lea Thompson

Age: 11 years and 11 months and 20 days

Looks: short black hair almost reaching to the shoulders. African American

Height: 5 foot, 10 inches

Julia Palmer

Age: 11 years and 11 months old

Looks: Cropped brown hair. Caucasian

Height: 4 foot 11.5 inches.

Millie and Cassie Dagos

Age: 11 years,10 months, and 15 days old (Millie was born first)

Looks: Millie-curly, long brown hair. Cassie- curly, dark brown hair with blonde highlights. Caucasians

Height: Millie- 5 ft. 5 in. Cassie-5 ft. 5 in.

Grace Turner

Age: 11 years, 11 months, and 20 days old

Looks: White-blonde hair almost reaching her waist. Brown eyes. Wears glasses.

Height: 5 foot 3 inches
