Chapter 3

The Tepig brought me to a place called Omnivorous Talent, and as expected there were predators and prey here. It also seemed to be a buffet place and I looked at her with a smile. She knew exactly the place to go that wouldn't hurt her piggy bank too badly.

I did wonder how she was going to pay though, she had no bags or fingers that I could see and I didn't even want to think about a pig type Pokémon walking on two legs and doing things that other Pokémon that could actually do.

The waitress seemed to recognize her though because we were immediately brought to a table without question, and I looked at her suspiciously. I really hope that she wasn't hiding something from me, and that she was really in some sort of royal class or family that had a high standing in this city.

I didn't wait for the waitress to ask me what I wanted to drink, the Tepig could just order water or something for me. I once again felt like I stepped forwards once and I was already in the middle of the buffet area.

I noticed that everyone was watching me, but I didn't really care to see if it was about my nature or my type as I just looked around to see them holing plates and I liked around for the metal disks themselves before speeding around the place and stacking meats on the plate and putting berries into the bowl. Then I was at the booth again with lots off food.

——————————————

"I'm honestly a little scared at how big your appetite is. I mean you cleared the entire restaurant and your saying that you're still hungry" I nodded, I don't know why but I didn't feel sated as all. I needed something a little richer than all that bland meat they had back there.

"I don't care if I have to work to pay you back, but is there any fish places that sell very fish meat" I asked, "like meat from a shark or whale type"

"Those are very expensive meats you want there, are you sure that you are willing to work to get them constantly because it will not be easy work" she looked at me surprised.

"I know, but I can't clear out another restaurant without being banned from the place from what I've heard. The only reason they let me stay was because of two reasons: you, and the fact that they could tell that I am new here and haven't eaten in a long time." I said looking down at the Tepig to see her looking the other way. "Why is that?"

"Well you can't just—" I stopped her

"You know what I am asking about. Stop avoiding it" I growled at her and she pouted. She really didn't want to talk about it. But I really wanted to know why the other Pokémon looked at her like they did and why they allowed her to do things that other Pokémon probably couldn't do.

"I'm not gonna stop asking until you give" I said pointedly and she sighed looking at me with anger.

"Okay fine" she huffed, "my family is the sole creators of this city, and while we aren't a part of the monarchy. We are greatly feared for our power and yet looked up to because of our past. I didn't want this, I just want to go on adventures, see new things, meet new Pokémon, and maybe even meet a human worthy for me to call master.

"Other Pokémon look down on a Pokémon being caught by humans, and in the wild they are treated like trash, and even though I wouldn't care if I got tossed out of the kingdom. I would be fine with it because that means that I get to travel the world without the reverence of people watching me or the regulation and expectations set on me."

I couldn't speak, I knew that she was important, but after that rant, I couldn't help but to feel sorry for her. And all I could do was just stare ahead and continue to walk on thinking about what I should say.

"I understand, for as long as I can remember I've been out here fighting for my life" I didn't know where these memories came from, but as the days went on I felt like they were getting truer and truer about my life. I couldn't remember anything else at the time. "I don't know where I came from or how I got here, but I do remember several encounters with a humans"

This seemed to get her attention and she abruptly stopped, looking at me with surprise and wonder.

"I don't know which ones to start with, some were good and some were bad" I looked at her, and saw that she really needed to hear something good about them, whether it be first or last, but she needed to hear about how nice they can be.

"Okay. I guess I'll start with one of my over sea travels. I was just starting to learn how to use my new body," and now that I'm starting to remember this I'll probably remember how to use my powers too, "but I had snuck onto one of their ships with caution because I've found out that any human that sees me. Will want to catch me, but about three days in I started to get hungry, and I hadn't brought any food with me.

"I went to one of the areas where all of the food was and looked around to see it in a little box filled with ice. As I was grabbing the meat out of the ice box one of the humans had woken up and came down. And while I was trying to stuff the frozen chunk of meat into one of their metal pots the human spoke:

"What are you doing little one?" He said and I looked around for a place to hide. "Oh your hungry ay, well that's not the thing that you use for this sort of thing."

He came over and grabbed the pan, I jumped out of the way careful not to bump into him, I didn't want to risk shocking him and causing him to cast me from the boat after realizing what I was.

He grabbed the meat, but the pot in their sink, went into the cabinets for a moment and brought out a different pan that was flat but curved around the edges.

"Now this, this is what's used to cook meat" he said grinning and even though I could see him but he couldn't see me, I knew that he was a trustworthy human. So I stepped close and when my fur brushed against him, I waited for a reaction, but none came.

"Now watch" was all that he said and that night I learned how humans cooked meat.

"After I was done eating the meal, the man admitted to me that he had known what I was, and that he wasn't going to try and catch me, but one of his crew heard what had happened and the next day they set a trap for me:

I woke up to the sound of shuffling feet along the wooden boards that made up the floor of the ship, and I smelled other Pokémon surrounding me. I couldn't use my powers for fear of sinking the boat in the middle of the ocean, but their Pokémon on the other hand. They weren't afraid to use their powers and I did not want to be caught in some stupid red ball.

I got into a ready stance and waited for them to come close enough, and then I jumped out from my hiding spot. Jumping over a Houndoom and Arcanine and ran through one of their trainer's legs before jumping up the stairs to the main deck. And unknowingly into a giant storm, the rain pelted me on either side and lightning flashed everywhere.

My main goals were to not fall off of the boat, and to not get struck by lightning because should I get struck I wouldn't have anywhere more to store it and I would have to discharge almost all of my electricity into my surroundings. Which were a boat with a soaked wooden deck, a large ocean of which I had no escape from, and a storm that could quite possibly kill me should I fall into its midst.

I looked back and saw that the Houndoom was the only one to come out, and then the human that was in charge of the dog Pokémon hung on the ladder...you Torchic .

"Come with us peacefully and we won't have to use force" the Houndoom said and I growled at it.

"No all your human does is use his Pokémon for their benefit. Even as you fight he cowers in the below deck area, if you fall off there is nothing that he can or will do to save you" I yelled above the storm and the Houndoom was silent for a moment.

"I know" it finally said "but he is my trainer and I shall support him till the end. I gave you a chance, but now I'll have to force you to come with us"

'Provided we both will actually survive this storm that is' I thought and jumped over the Shadow Ball that was barked towards me. I used Extreme Speed to jump around the deck as I did not want to touch the ground at the wrong moment.

I kept on jumping around until the Houndoom suddenly struck at the area that I was going to jump, breaking the boards and sending me overboard. I, naturally, screamed as I fell over and the Houndoom ran to the edge as if it could help, but by the time I hit the water the boat was much too far ahead of me.

"I floated in that storm for days, hoping that it would end or kill me, but when I fell unconscious. I woke up here, seemingly thrown in by the storm surrounding this island" I said and the Tepig in-front of me seemed conflicted now that she's heard how humans can be, evil, nasty, and scary creatures.

"But don't think all humans are like that, you are strong, and if we do manage to get off of this island. I know that you'll find a human that will support and defend you like some I've heard of" I said looking at the water in-front of me.

"You'll find one too you know" she said after a little while of silence, "you'll find a human that'll rake care of you and that you can trust too"

"Maybe" I said, "well where is this fish place, I'm craving some Sharpedo meat"

(This is how i imagine a reincarnation going...deleted past memories, newly formed ones as the MC goes about their new life)
