'What do you mean we can't train now?!' Katsuki yelled at Izuku.

'It's night and it's about to rain. We can't train anymore. Plus, I think your Pokémon need a break from all that training.' Izuku replied.

'Come on! Pidgey is about to evolve!' Katsuki yelled.

'Do you want your Pokémon to get sick?' Izuku asked.

'Well- no...' Katsuki gave in with a sigh.

'Alright. Now that you're calm, we should get some sleep.' Izuku said.

'Who's sharing?' Shouto asked.

'I'll share with Todoroki.' Izuku said.

'Ok.' Shouto murmured with a nod.

They both went into the big tent while Kirishima and Bakugou went in their small tents.

'You sure you don't mind sharing with me?' Shouto asked, laying down next to Izuku.

'It's fine, really.' Izuku smiled.

'That's another fake smile.' Shouto murmured, making Izuku freeze. 'Why won't you smile for real.'

'...' Izuku looked away.

Shouto grabbed his chin and forced Izuku to look up at him.

'Please. Tell me.' Shouto said.

'...' Izuku was silent, struggling to turn away.

'Does it have something to do wit-'

'Please stop.' Izuku cut Shouto off.

Shouto let go of Izuku's chin and rolled over, facing away from him.

'Sorry... I shouldn't have tried to force you.' Shouto murmured.

'It's... ok.' Izuku said, rolling over.

They were both now facing away from each other, trying to fall asleep. Rain started to fall outside, pounding down on the roofs of the tents. Shouto turned over so he was on his back, staring up through the dark. His head rolled to the side, making it so he could see Izuku. He was shivering. Shouto rolled over more before wrapping his arms around Izuku's waist and bringing him close.

'T-Todoroki?' Izuku stuttered, face turning red once again.

'You looked cold. Thought I'd help warm you up.' Shouto replied.

Izuku turned round so he was facing Shouto. Shouto brought Izuku in closer so his head was resting on his chest.

*Time Skip to morning*
•~Katsuki's P.O.V~•

My eyes shot opened as I sat up, staring at the tent entrance. I looked around.

'What was that dream,' I murmured as my Pokémon came out. 'What're you guys doing out?'

'Warturle!' Warturtle said, jumping into my arms.

'You can play on your own. I'm not interested.' I said.

'Star!' Starly chirped, flying round the tent.

'Ponyta!' Ponyta ran out of the tent.

'Ponyta!' I yelled, outstretching my arm for Starly to land there as I ran out of the tent, clinging onto Warturtle who was swaying in my other arm.

Ponyta had ran over to the obstacle course sector. Warturtle jumped out of my arm, running after Ponyta. Starly flew after them. I just stared after them. Suddenly, Ivysaur, Noibat, Vulpix and Eevee all ran out of their tents and followed my Pokémon into the obstacle course. A few moments later, Charizard, Syther, Poliwrath, Roselia and Alakazam all came out, wondering over to the course and watching as the younger Pokémon ran around.

'Yo, Bakubro. You're up this early?'

I turned round to see Kirishima walking over to me.

'Does it look like I'm still asleep?' I asked, turning back to face the course.

'What's got you all riled up?' Kiri joked.

I didn't reply.

'You wanna go wake Todoroki and Midoriya?' Kiri asked.

'Why not,' I mumbled, walking passed Kiri over to the last tent. 'Hey. You guys u- WHAT THE HELL?!'

Izuku and Shouto were clinging onto each other, legs and arms intertwined. Izuku's head was buried in Shouto's neck while Shouto had his face buried in Izuku's hair.

'WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING?!' I yelled, waking them up.

Kiri came over to see what was going on. He couldn't see much because I was on the way, but, he saw enough for his eyes to widen. They both opened their eyes. Turning bright red, they detached from each other, rolling away.

'If you two are done, we have some training to do.' I said, anger evident in my voice.

'R-right,' Izuku murmured, trying to stand up. 'After today, we can set off again to find Jirachi.'

I walked away, back to my tent to change. After a few moments, I came back out and walked over to the obstacle course. Right now, the Pokémon were all in a maze. They were trying to cheat it by making a little tower, but, that didn't work.

'You ready, Roselia?'

I looked behind me to see Izuku and Roselia. His Pokémon nodded before going into the obstacle course. Izuku sat down on the ground and closed his eyes. A light blue aura surrounded him. I turned back to the course, seeing Roselia jumping over holes and dodging rocks and other items. In a matter of seconds, she was at the maze. Running through, she found the other Pokémon. Waving her hand, she ran off. They all followed after her. They took a lot of different ways till finally, they reached the end. Roselia took the back of the group as Vulpix took the front with Ponyta.

'What the...' Kirishima muttered, coming over next to me. 'The Pokémon were stuck there and Roselia comes along and they finish.'

'Guessing Roselia already knew the way.' I said.

'Actually, I caught Roselia after finishing my training here.' Izuku said behind us.

'Then ho-'

'Connection,' Izuku interrupted Kirishima. 'You saw that aura around me, right?'

'Yeah.' I said.

'When you can bond with your Pokémon to an extent that you don't have to order them to do anything, you can connect with them in a way that lets you control where they go.' Izuku explained.

'Ohh...' Kiri murmured.

'What do you mean by control?' I asked.

'You basically go into the Pokémon's mind and see what there seeing. You can tell them which way to move and what to attack with,' Izuku replied. 'But, you have to have complete faith in one another for this to happen. So just work on strengthening your bond before trying to do that.'

We both nodded before going back to watching as our Pokémon ran round to the last area.
