Chapter 7
Mai's and Anzu's mouths were opened ajar.
They could not believe their ears what they just heard. Those four words were really unbelievable that you would be like, "WHAT THE HECK?!"
No, really. Do you really want to hear what Aiko just said?
Wait for it.
Mai and Anzu stared at Aiko, then at Isamu, and vice versa.
Sometime later, which seemed like hours, Mai laughed. She laughed really hard that she was on the verge of tears.
Anzu, with her same expression and opened mouth, swiveled her head towards Mai, shocked at her laughter.
"I-I'm ex-extremel-ly s-sorry," Mai said between laughs. "I think, no, I know I accidentally heard those four crazy words. So, um, can you repeat it again?"
"Oh no, dear. What you heard is absolutely correct," Isamu said with a serious and monotone voice. "Let me repeat it, 'Sakura assassinated her parents.'"
Mai instantly shut her mouth and soon the eerie silence invaded again.
"I AM GOING TO KILL HER FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL!" Mai said later, standing up. "And this is a promise."
"WHAT ARE YOU BLABBING?" Anzu and Isamu said in harmony, then shared happy glances but returned to their serious and anger expressions and turned to her again.
But Aiko sat there, tight-lipped and no infuriated-face. She remained surprisingly calm, eyes closed and smiling as if she was refreshing a happy childhood memory.
"That was what I wanted."
"ARE YOU NUTS, AIKO?!" Isamu said, waving her hands in exasperation. "DO NOT YOU KNOW SHE IS YOUR ONLY SISTER?!"
"Shut up," Aiko said. "I want her to do it, on behalf of myself. I sought for revenge, I seek for revenge, and I will seek for revenge until and unless she is dead!"
That shook everyone, except Mai. She knew that she will be able to kill her. She might receive some poison like she got hold of the Time Potion, but she wasn't really sure about it. Maybe she could leave a letter to that enigmatic person and that guy or someone else would give it to her. But she wasn't positive about it.
"Even though," Aiko continued. "she is my only sister, but now I don't want Sakura anymore. I don't care about it. My parents may wanted us to be abandoned, but I don't care. I may cried to sleep when Sakura was kept in jail for eight years, but I don't care. I didn't care, I don't care, and I WON'T CARE!"
Suddenly, a thud was heard. Mai turned her head everywhere to see if she got some poison. However, it was the sound from a door being opened brutally.
"What are you little filth doing here?"
Oh no. It was a teacher who makes a round around the school after lunch to ensure everyone is attending their classes.
Mai was already standing, while the remaining three jerked themselves off the floor, resulting in Isamu falling to the ground again.
"We didn't hear the bell!" Anzu confessed.
"Yeah!" Isamu said, picking herself up from the ground.
"We swear!" Aiko butted in.
"It was because we were shouting a little..." Mai reluctantly said, resulting a glare from the others, and she returned a look that said I didn't know what to say!
"Hmph!" the teacher said. "You should be careful next time! Four of you get a gift: DETENTION!"
The girls groaned and walked all the way to the detention classroom like zombies.
Hiya, people! Sorry for taking such a long time and for being dead. I have now resurrected from the dead just for you guyss!!!
Ok bye now!
P.S. please pray that I won't be dead again and I will post a chapter ASAP.
