Minerva sat at her desk reading a transfiguration book while her foot tapped absentmindedly on the stone floor. She jumped slightly when she heard a tap at the window and looked over to see a pitch black owl staring back at her with a letter in its beak. Minerva stood up and glided over opening the window and took the letter from the owl. Her brows deepened as she recognized the spidery handwriting. Minerva was surprised to see Severus in such a panicked state but was more shocked to hear of Ms.Granger's disappearance. She had always thought of her as a granddaughter and was proud of her broad mind and amount of bravery. A true Gryffindor.

Minerva quickly wrote back and sent the letter with the owl. She watched the owl fly off and went to contact the Weasleys and Mr. Potter of Ms.Granger's disappearance. They would surely want to know if they didn't already. The golden trio as they were called were inseparable during their days at Hogwarts. Always together and more often than not in trouble.

     Minerva sat back down at her desk after sending letters to the others. She was confused as to why Severus was in such a panic over Ms.Granger. Not that it wasn't a bad thing but it was surprising for Severus. Minerva had noticed them be civil to each other but no more than that. If there was something more going on with them she would find out. Being headmistress had its perks also she was more like a mother to Severus and he was like a son to her. He wouldn't dare admit it but it was true.

   Feeling tired after recent events Minerva retired to her quarters. She lay in bed staring at the ceiling worry etched in her features. Would Ms.Granger be alright? Where was she? Who took her? Why? All of these questions flashed in her mind over and over until she drifted off to sleep.
