"The Quest of Jasmine"

"The map says that I can find her in this town, but this town is so big. How can I find her and where should I go first?" Jasmine asks herself when she reaches the place where she could find the mother of Jin Ae and Baekhyun.

Jasmine was walking around when she was suddenly bumped into by a man who immediately apologized.

"Sorry, Miss, are you okay? Do you feel anything hurt?" the man asks her but when she looks at the man, she immediately recognizes the face of that person.

"Ambrose?" Jasmine said. The man immediately smiled at her and then he said.

"Jasmine? Is that you? God, I can't believe that I will meet you here." Said the man who was obviously pleased to see her.

"Ah, Ambrose, you can release me from your hold. I am okay." Jasmine said and she gave an awkward smile.

"Sorry, how are you? We haven't seen each other for a long time. for how many years and when was the last time we met?" Ambrose asks. Then Jasmine hears the intro of the song Yes and? On her mind, she smiles at Ambrose before she answers.

"Jasmine, just be yourself. And how dare he ask when was the last we saw each other? And that was the time we broke up. Did he think that I could still be captured by his charm? No way! Even though he's wearing white sando and his muscle..." Jasmine said to herself she suddenly stopped when Ambrose approached him and said.

"Jas? Are you okay? would like me to take you to a hospital?" Ambrose said.

"Yeah, I'm good thank you," Jasmine said.

"Are you sure? I know you. Even though you feel hurt, you just hiding it from me. I remember that was your talent." Ambrose said.

"Yes and?" Jasmine said and she continued to walk while Ambrose followed her.

"Can we talk for a second?" Ambrose said.

"What do you call on this? We are talking right?" Jasmine said and continued walking when she suddenly noticed a familiar face.

"Miss Ara?" She said as she saw Jin Ae' and Baekhyun's mom from a distance.

"What do you call her?" Ambrose asks.

"Ambrose, can you stay away from me? I have a person that I need to see." She said.

"Why? Are you from the census now? why do you want to see her?" Ambrose said then Jasmine stopped when she heard what he said.

"Do you mean, do you know that woman?" Jasmine asks.

"Yes, of course as the young mayor in town. I can tell you a story." Ambrose said.

"Now, tell me," Jasmine said.

"Follow me in my office," Ambrose said and winked at her. which she secretly thrilled.

"Now you were smiling Miss Census, and follow me this way," Ambrose said.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun, Aki, and Ethan talk about Melody and her assistant Madeline.

"Your sister looks slowly recovering from the curse, may she not yet awake but do you have any plans about the mayor who did this to her?" Akihiko asks and slowly takes a sip of his tea.

"I want to smash his face with my fist, and I have a plan are you guys in?" Baekhyun said.

"In for what?" Ethan said.

"I have to get revenge for my sister, especially since we haven't finished yet the task of catching a sigbin," Baekhyun said.

"I'm in bro," Aki said as he raised his hands.

"We're not going back there, and besides Jasmine is looking for your mom. When we know your mother is safe, we need to stop your grandfather from his madness." Ethan said.

"You don't understand, my grandfather has a lot of connections especially since we are Bellators who have different beliefs than the unusual Bellator we know," Baekhyun said.

"My decision is final, no one will go back there. Do you guys understand?" Ethan said as he walked away from his suitors. But when Ethan left Aki asked Baekhyun intensively about his courtship with Ethan which Baekhyun answered.

"I love him more than in my life, but looks like these feelings have no space for all the problems that we have right now," Baekhyun said. Aki tapped Baekhyun on the shoulder and said,

"If you love him, please don't stop making him feel special," Aki said while smiling at him.

"So, this means you stop courting Ethan? But why?" Baekhyun asks.

"I just realized that being a best friend is enough, and besides I don't want to ruin our friendship," Aki said Baekhyun smiled when he heard that from Aki who immediately hugged Aki while calling him Bestie.

"That's weird bro, me and Ethan, we never call each other that way. So, cringe." Aki said that they didn't know Ethan saw and heard their conversation and Ethan smiled at them but they got worried when Nana Amelia shouted.

"Lola" Ethan said and they rushed to the kitchen where Nana Amelia was.

"What is happening Lola?" Baekhyun and Ethan said together but they were amazed when they saw Jin Ae was finally awake.

"Ji-Jin Ae?" Baekhyun stammered when he saw that Jin Ae was awake.

"Kuya, where am I? and where's Monday and Jasmine?" She asks. Then Baekhyun immediately hugged her as he was very happy when his sister was finally awake.

"But let's not celebrate yet, the curse was still inside of her body, she needs to do it under purification as our voice cannot do that," Melody said and her appearance slowly went back to her human form.

"Thank you, bestie," Nana Amelia said, and when Aki and Baekhyun heard that they were immediately horrified by what they heard. Ethan smiles at them and whispers to them...

"Besties!"

"E, stop doing that!" Aki said.

"What is happening? Are you guys fighting again?" Nana Amelia said.

"No, Lola, Aki was overreacting" Ethan answered with a silly smile that seemed to tease Aki and Baekhyun even more.

"I don't know how to stop these children, but I am sure that you cannot relate to my struggle Melody, you are still single, right? No child at all?" Amelia said.

"What do you mean? and he will be here soon as he texted me already." Melody said and suddenly there was a loud car horn outside the house Melody immediately rushed out to meet her son.

"He's here wait, I need you to meet him guys," Melody said,

They saw a man get out of the car at the same time and they were amazed because of how handsome Melody's son was, he even smiled when he saw his mother and waved his hands.

"Elijah you're here my son," Melody said and she immediately hugged her son.

"Yes Mom, I follow your instruction." Her son said.

"Oh, by the way, this is Amelia, my bestie do you remember?" Melody introduces Amelia to her son and immediately her son asks for Amelia's hand when her son gets her hands, he immediately gives an honoring gesture we call pagmamano.

While Aki whispers to Baekhyun he says.

"Asks him if he's still single?" Akihiko said.

"For you bro. leave it to me bestie." Baekhyun said then he whispered to Ethan.

"Your best friend asks if Elijah is single. Looks like he is now interested in this pretty boy." Baekhyun said.

"Come inside, I prepare some goodies for you Elijah." Nana Amelia said.

"Nice to meet you Lola, I've heard from my mom that you are so good at baking so excited to taste, especially the famous Biko," Elijah said then Akihiko grabbed his hands and said.

"Hi my name is Akihiko; I am also a product of Lola Amelia and if you want you can taste me. I'm sure that you will be satisfied." Because of what he said Ethan immediately grabs him from that scene and asks to excuse his friend.

"Sorry for that Miss Melody, he was just joking and nice meeting you Elijah and may I excuse I want to talk with Aki," Ethan said as he pulled his friend's ear, Melody immediately laughed and said at the same time.

"It's funny, your grandchildren are naughty Ameli, just like us when we were young, but anyway I'm also excited to taste your Biko. I'm going to wrap it so that my husband can taste it." Melody said.

"Sure thing, and let's go in the kitchen the Biko is ready." Nana Amelia and they proceed to the kitchen where the food is prepared while Elija smiles at him.

"Bro, he smiles at me," Akihiko said and gave a fist bump to Baekhyun.

"I told you, that was so effective," Baekhyun said.

"So, Baekhyun teach you, now I know," Ethan said and he cast a spell to make Baekhyun and Akihiko fall on the floor.

"So cruel!" Baekhyun said.

"Yeah, he is, you have to think now bro, if you will live together, he will torture you and this is one of the examples," Akihiko said.

"Really bestie?" Ethan said and he cast the same spell again.

Going back to Jasmine and Ambrose.

"I can't imagine that you were the mayor of this town, how?" Jasmine asks and she takes a sip from a cup of tea made by Ambrose. Before Ambrose replies he points to the picture frame of his dad on that wall who is the former mayor of the town.

"Political Dynasty, before my dad died, my mom was the mayor of this town and now, she's retired, after my term ends my older sister will replace me as the mayor of this town," Ambrose said.

"Going back to the woman that I searching for, she is in danger. I need to help her before the goons will catch her again." Jasmine said.

"What do you mean?" Ambrose asks.

"It's a long story, can you give me her details," Jasmine asks.

"No, if you wanted to talk to her, I will let you but you will have to do it when I am around," Ambrose said.

"But why?" Jasmine said.

"Because we are part of the White Dove, she's under our protection and looks like you were in trouble in the other town as you have a stain from a Dalaket," Ambrose said while raising his eyebrows.

Jasmine was surprised by what she heard and immediately asked her ex-boyfriend how he knew about what happened to her friends when they encountered the mayor, Dalaketnon, and gave a curse to her friend, Jin Ae.

"Simply, I am a clairvoyant who sees the past and the future. When we accidentally bumped into each other, I saw in my vision what happened to your friend. But don't worry I will help you in one condition." Ambrose said.

"What condition?" Jasmine asks.

"Let's continue the relationship that we didn't have any closure, but when I saw you now. I don't want closure; I need you in my life." Ambrose said.

"Ambrose!" Jasmine said as she was shocked at what she heard about Ambrose.

While Ara works as a shopkeeper in a bakery, where her mother's sister is the owner.

"Auntie, you're here finally, let's eat together," Ara said.

"What's our today's menu, Chief Ara?" Her auntie asks while smiling at her.

"Your favorite, Pork Sinigang." Ara said.

"Alright, let's close the store first so that we can eat lunch together." Her aunt said.
