SUMMARY :
In October of 2011, film students Charlotte Daines, Veronica Hayes and Owen Mills, along with their group of friends, set out to produce a documentary about the fabled Blair Witch. They travel to Burkittsville, Maryland, and interview residents about the legend. Locals tell them of Rustin Parr, a hermit who lived in the woods and kidnapped eight children in the 1940s, killing seven of them supposedly on the orders of the witch. After spending the night at a motel, the students explore the woods in north Burkittsville to research the legend, only to come face to face with the worst fear imagined.

ADDITIONAL NOTES :
─ This plot was heavily inspired by the 1999 movie The Blair Witch Project. I would prefer if you didn't go entirely off the movie, maybe just a few things here and there, otherwise write up your own dialogue and plotline, but keep things similar to the actual legend of the Blair Witch.

─ This plot will start with the students all meeting three days before they venture into the woods. They'll have packed all the necessary supplies and load it up in Andy's van, which borrowed from his father's company. Then, they'll drive for two days before they arriving in the town. They'll hit the diner for some lunch, conduct their interviews with the townfolk and park the car before hitting the woods with their camping gear. Then, it will essentially follow the group as they experience terror brought on to them by the Blair Witch.

─ Ronnie, Charlotte and Owen are the three film students whose school project this is and they were the ones to plan the whole trip. Andy tagged along out of jealousy because Ronnie is friends with Owen and he didn't want his girlfriend to be alone with another guy on a trip out of the state. Beth also tagged along as Andy's twin sister, while Shelby was invited by her best friend Ronnie.

─ Charlotte is the main character.

─ Lady Gaga plays the Blair Witch that will terrorize the group of college students and eventually kill all but one of them. Charlotte is the lone survivor because the Blair Witch doesn't kill fellow witches, which Charlotte happens to be.

─ Sarah Paulson plays Sandra, a waitress that they meet at a diner the day before they head into the woods and are conducting interviews with the townfolk. She tells them about Rustin Parr, a hermit who lived in the woods and kidnapped eight children in the 1940s, killing seven of them supposedly on the orders of the witch.

─ Angela Bassett plays a supposed "witch" that they spot in the woods one evening and get scared of. However, she stops her ritual and approaches them, saying they shouldn't be scared of her because she is performing a blessing on the land to get rid of the evil since she lives just on the outskirts of the woods.

─ Charlotte is basically Owen's only friend. She is incredibly sweet and kind and compassionate and empathetic. She was a Girl Scout her whole life up until college and adores animals. She wants to make documentary films all about animals. She's also a lesbian.

─ Ronnie is Andy's girlfriend. They met five months ago and she's secretly pregnant with his baby, but afraid to tell him because they're still in college and she isn't sure he will be a happy about it. Ronnie is the definition of a perfect girl, getting outstanding grands, volunteers for just about anything that had to do with the community or charities, she's insanely sweet, and she goes to church every Sunday. Her dream is to travel the world and make documentary films about things that truly matter.

─ Andy and Beth are twins. They are both the rich kids of the group and can be a little too confident and smug and think they're better than everyone else. Andy likes to have his arm around his girl to show off his "prize", while Beth tends to flirt with all the guys. Andy is an all-star football player (quarterback) for the college team and Beth is one of the cheerleaders; both are incredibly popular on campus.

─ Shelby is Ronnie's best friend that was invited along to come on the trip with them. She is the only one who knows about Ronnie's condition and she has a huge crush on Owen. At first, she was hesitant to come on the trip because she scares very easily and has bad asthma so she has to carry around an inhaler with her 24/7, but after she learned that Owen was going, she gave in to Ronnie's pleas. I imagine that Beth will flirt with Owen just to get to Shelby.

─ Owen is the shy one of the group and Charlotte and Ronnie's partner in their film classes. He has a background that involves a drunker and abusive father, which makes him hesitant to want a relationship because he thinks he isn't good enough. He's never been kissed and he's still a virgin so I imagine Andy will use that to pick on him a little bit since Andy thinks he's all that. He also likes Shelby back but, again, he pushes those feelings away because he's scared.

─ After all her friends die in the woods, Charlotte eventually realizes that she has magic and joins the school. She meets Mallory and they hit it off pretty quickly.
