Later, I am going to meet my fellow doctors for some important matters. While waiting, I already studied The Joker's file. Well, he really is something. I went through other patient's files, saw some interesting people aside from The Joker. Poison Ivy and Catwoman. I have read their files and these two women are intriguing too.

"These three so far are the most interesting for me." I thought.

A knock on my office door snapped me out of my thoughts. "Come in please." A brunette woman with eyeglasses about in her early forties entered. "Hello. I am doctor Quinzel and you are?" I politely asked. "Doctor Rachel Leland, nice to meet you doctor Quinzel." she smiled warmly at me. "Shall we start your briefing and the discussion of important matters? We are going to the conference room now. The others are waiting there doctor." she informed me while ushering me out to my office.

Once again I walked to the familiar creepy, cold hallways of Arkham Asylum. I followed doctor Leland, I would not want to miss this important meeting. Plus I will get lost if I did not follow her immediately and miss out important points. I do not want to create a bad first impression. I have to show them that Harleen Quinzel is not an ordinary girl.

We finally arrived at the conference room. There were three doctors, excluding me and doctor Leland. A woman and two men. So there were five of us here in the Asylum. In my opinion, this place needs more doctors and probably security for there are a lot of insane, psychopathic, sadistic patients, and also the high profile inmates here.

"Good afternoon everyone, I am doctor Harleen Quinzel nice to meet you all." I smiled at everyone in the conference room. They all smiled back. "Welcome to Arkham Asylum, doctor Quinzel. Please have a seat." the woman in her early fifties spoke. Doctor Leland and I took our seats. "I am doctor Rosalind Priestley and they are doctors Michael Smith and Christopher Miller." she motioned her hand to each of the two men who both smiled back politely in return.

"So doctor Quinzel, I must say it is nice to have a new face around here and I am impressed that you chose Arkham instead of other institutions. What made you choose Arkham, doctor?" doctor Rosalind asked.

"Well doctor Priestley, I chose Arkham because I have a special interest for the criminally insane. I am fascinated with them that is why, and I believe Arkham is the best place to start my career." I answered genuinely with a smile. I do really have a special interest for the insane people. Particularly the criminals.

Doctor Priestley frowned. "Doctor Quinzel. I do hope that you understand that dealing with the criminals and insane here in Arkham is no joke." her expression and tone turned serious. "Curing and treating them properly is of grave importance doctor Quinzel." doctor Priestley added. "I apologize doctor Priestley. I did not mean to take this grave matter as a joke. I merely expressed my fascination to them. I promise to take my job seriously as an intern here in Arkham doctor." I responded to her accusation and reprove.

"It is alright doctor Quinzel, I wish you the best for your stay here in Arkham." she replied. "Thank you for understanding doctor Priestley."

"So, shall we start the meeting?" doctor Priestley asked. Everyone nodded.

The meeting ended at 5:45 PM. I am currently sitting back on my swivel chair. Doctor Leland escorted me back. And wished me luck for my stay here in Arkham and for my first day tomorrow in meeting the patients.
