Today I went to a college visit with my mom and one of my sisters to a college that was around an hour and a half drive from my house. We were over halfway there when we heard a loud noise, as if my mom ran over something big. I turned around to see if she drove over something, but I didn't see anything in the road. Some amount of time later, I see a guy in a Amazon Prime van looking at us, frantically pointing at our van. I was confused, then my mom noticed him. Then she put the pieces together: the loud noise we heard was the tire popping, and the Amazon driver was pointing it out to us. We'd been driving on a slowly deflating back tire for who-knows-how-long. She gave him a thumbs up as a thank you and pulled over.

My mom called roadside assistance and they took around 15-20 minutes to get there. We had to get the spare tire out of the under the seats compartment. When they got there, they didn't take very long to change the spare (plus my sister and I didn't have to get out of the spear and stand in the hot July heat). They finished within the 6 1/2 minutes of the song I was listening to.

After that, everything went fine. We made it to the campus and eventually back home safely without any more tire issues. :)
