There's a shiny hunting event I'm participating in and today I went shiny hunting in Pokémon Y. First I went to the friend safari (the one I went to had Pawniard, Absol, and Cacturne). The very first encounter was a shiny Pawniard.

Sadly it's modest nature and has Inner Focus ability, which are far from ideal for Bisharp.

I went to a different friend safari (with Cascoon, Swalot, and Muk) and had no luck. After getting bored of the friend safaris, I decided to try doing hoard hunts. I've tried them in the past with no success. The first hoard I did had a shiny Foongus.

I swear I've never had this amount of luck with shiny hunting ever. I've never gotten two shinies in one day, let alone a shiny on the first try.
