We've had some problems with the ceiling in one of the rooms in our house (it was leaking, which caused it to sag down and crack) and so my parents called someone to check it out. The ceiling guy was coming yesterday, but both of my parents were at work and my brother was sleeping (probably), so I had to open the door and talk to the guy. My 2 younger sisters DITCHED ME and ran off to hide in their room. (Granted my third sister was doing something for school that was being timed, but still.) I didn't really know what to say, or if I was supposed to say anything, so I stood there awkwardly when he was examining the ceiling. That wasn't fun.

Also when the guy came in the house, he complimented the hidden doors we have in the entrance and me being an idiot and not knowing what to say, said "Yeah we keep a lot of stuff in there." Not just a simple "thank you", no no, make it awkward with a random statement.
