Speak
Once A girl began to walk
She didn't know yet how to talk
She went along down, down the street
She made her way around the block
She loved to walk down to the doc
She would sit on her favorite old rock
She would stare out into the sea
She loved to watch the seagulls flock
She dreamed of a day that she could talk
But yet all she could do is still walk
Little did she know The birds she always sees
They couldn't really either yet talk
But yet they still sing out with glee
They believe they can get through
They fly away their wings are free
For they can't talk but still they speak
The world revolves around what we believe
The more we're disappointed by what we can't do
The longer it takes for us to be free,
The longer it takes for us to speak
