ENEMIES

I was tired of our sinful fights
When we would have a peaceful night?

Between us there's always a war
Slicing our hearts apart with a scar

My hands are frosted with your hold
Staring at your eyes made me terribly cold

I wanted to bring back our yesterday
Honestly, I missed our carefree ways

When our world had an euphorian bliss
Begging for affection, I was on my knees

Tell me darling, who am I living for?
All I want was your love and nothing more

My hope had spilled over the floor
When you walked out the door

Everyday I waited for you to come back
Drowning in my tears, where do I lack?

These nights had killed me by your name
If I go insane, I got you to blame

It's useless to wish upon the broken star
If you were up high and so far

I know it hurts cause I also felt it too
After those times that we've been through

It's too late to turn back the time
Stealing my heart like a crime

My pain couldn't heal by any therapy
When you come home was my remedy

You left me behind with this curse
Everyday you made my lips thirst

Honey I still love you with our memories
Why we become such mortal enemies?

A/N : This is the 3rd poem that I had updated today.

Again, I listened to the song 'Enemies' by lauv ❤️  though you could see his picture here in this poetry.  Such an awesome guy.

I love all of his songs.  My favourite song of his are 'There's No Way and Chasing Fire' 

You should give it a try. Their are good to hear. 🎶🎧
