Do you ever just do something you hate,
that you know you might regret?

But there's just that voice in your mind that tells you to do, no matter how scared you are?

That's what happened when I stepped out of my bird cage, my very comfort zone and decided to fly.

I was anxious, oh so anxious,
but now I realize I don't regret anything,

that I'm actually proud I decided to let the outside light touch my dusty feathers.

Has it caused me to make a lot of mistakes?
Of course it has.

But we were all prone to make them along the way,
but it has also brought me shining moments and I've got to see the world through a different mirror.

Everything's so much clearer from the outside point of view.
I'm glad I finally flew and stepped into this new world,
where I can finally find myself outside of my protective walls.
