The sea crashes upon the shore.
Winds whipping hair upon faces.
Empty in all places.
The beaches sand lays untouched calling for some soul to come rest upon its shore.
Monsters creep around waiting for a victim to listen to the calling,
then as she appears they wait for the right moment to attack,
but all she feels is peace alone here on this beach,
but slowly the thoughts creep in and she struggles to breath,
crashing down to the sand in defeat.
She weeps as her wet hair sticks to her face lined with sand.
Here she thought she could escape them,
but here is where they met her again.
Is this her destiny to be lost in the mind cage,
a prisoner wrapped in chains?
Can she ever flee?
She pleads out to the sea to free her!
She runs ahead to the sea stepping in deeper and deeper,
but stops right when the waters reach her head.
Her eyes watch as the waves crash and knock her from her feet just like her believed destiny,
but yet again she stands in awe at the crystal blue water.
She watches the way the sea breaks, then finds some peace noting how it happens over and over again,
then it starts to rain,
she drags herself from the sea as water droplets beat against her face,
she wipes them away even though each time they return.
It seems the sky is crying for her or mocking her destiny.
She shrivers as the wind blows across her wet skin,
so innocent yet broken.
She sits down calming her breathing.
The monsters watching her as the beach keeps calling,
even though their victim sits on their sand by the sea.
Thunder rattles through the skies causing her to jump.
She flees with her faith of escaping,
even though the beast tries to follow her.
When she makes it inside she slides down the door closing her eyes,
then see falls into a peaceful slumber where the monsters cannot reach,
so filled with faith that today was the last day,
that she did finally escape,
so that she may walk back to the sea and feel permanent peace,
blocking the callings from the beach,
because she will be stepping her feet into the sea swimming away from a destiny that tries to be.
