Upon the phases of the moon,
and the rays of the sun it had begun.
You're my light side,
while I am your dark.
We left a mark,
we thought went unseen,
but someone saw us playing these games.
By the twiddle of fingers,
everything had begun again.
The sun couldn't speak, nor could the moon shine.
The Stars didn't shine that night,
Nor did the sun shine that day,
because clouds covered her face.
Twins in the sky,
that were different from any other.
Together they grabbed the same thing.
They didn't see the meaning,
until it was to late.
There was no returning at least that's what they thought,
but when the day came and they returned back to their sky,
there was destruction.
The ones they onced loved were hurting.
When their love ones saw the phases of the moon and the beams of the sun,
it gave them hope for a future,
that they thought would stay and be theirs again.
But the back of the moon was dark and the sun must share her light.
These men fight for attention of their sky women.
Galaxy walkers in flight forever hanging in the sky.
The moon reached out her hand and he took it,
while the sun stood and watched.
The sun saved the moon,
before he put out her light,
but what the sun didn't realize was that he already had, and that's why the moons other side could never shine.
That is why the moon is rock hard,
while the sun holds her happy heat.
They both share a long story of how they came to be.
Twins of light and darkness never in defeat.
Hand and hand forever in the sky will they stay shining, till the end while humans die at their feet.
