One With Nature
It wasn't about death or life's steps.
It wasn't about worries or regrets.
It was about me and mother natures trees.
People tried to tell me I was wrong and "worried" about my well being,
but every night I sneaked outside to feel the wind wiping through my hair and the peace that nature can bring.
The little bugs that landed on my fingers they called pest,
but I called them Gods very creation.
I saw the creatures of the night and they weren't afraid of me,
but they never bothered me and I never bothered them.
Everyday they told me to come inside, but I didn't want to be locked away from natures peace.
They said I spent to much time with the creation but not with them,
but do they not see they are creation too?
They wanted to be bothered with the world and I wanted to dance with nature.
Was it really so hard to believe I'd rather sit with the flowers and trees then play with worldly belongs?
I offered for them to join me,
but they were worried about soil staining their pants or being bitten by bugs.
But all I was feeling was nature and her wonderful breeze thanking God for making such a wonderful masterpiece,
where I can escape from the worlds harsh things and be happy.
If only they could see how blinded they became when they made worldly things their friends,
when there is rest and peace under natures trees,
that we can all face the world another day,
but always come back to this place.
