The ominous part about climbing this mountain is that once you get to the top you might fall down.

The worse part is you'll probably never get back up again.

They say we should be scared of these things and scared some of us may be, but that doesn't stop me from grabbing each rock as I climb higher and higher.

I could live in the fear that today's the last day and this may be the last mountain I see.

Life's to short to be shaking in these boots,
instead I want the soles of these shoes torn and worn.

I want to prove that I've done something that's worthy of this land.

Fear I won't let you join me on this mission to the top of this ladder, or mountain, or whatever it may be.

It's time to live to die,
to push all my anxiety to the side.

Whatever awaits me when I reach the top I'll greet it will open arms.

I won't die in vain because that's fears game.
