Photons impinge on matter

That surrounds an enigma

The light beams illuminate

But do not reveal the true nature

The meaning of the revelation

Is a fairy dancing on forest stage

Or is it a singer about to perform

The photons continue unabated

But the mystery is frozen in time

A figure in a beam of light!
