FLY ABOVE EARS

I kept on watching the clock,

Waiting for that time to come,

Sitting in that sweet desirable room,

Hoping the end would sooner than later.

I could see the birds flying by,

The wind catching under their wings,

Soaring above the window ledge, 

Casting long shadows over ground.

I wished the time to fly away too,

That friends could talk and chat again,

Gossiping the break from the work,

Always happy, always smiling.

I said something to myself,

On which strict ears heard,

And now I watch my friends joy,

From the top window.
