Leaves change
From it's Earthly greens
To shades of warmer colors.

The wind blows,
Taking away the warmth
Exchanging it with the cold

I stare at the trees
Watching the leaves
Falling onto the ground

And as I watch
I realize life
Changes
In a blink of an eye

One moment,
The trees are filled with green,
Until the cold comes
And takes it away

How I wish the seasons
Would stay the same
To stay warm
And burst with life

But as I stand,
I realize everything must fall
At one point or another
